@@danwilson7776 I have friends that have a skill set better than mine (like machine work) and I have the ability to do something better than them. You trade off work, you get better quality work and you don't suffer from project burnout.
That sea-foam green truck, the 307, man that is just such a beautiful truck I LOVE that color. There's a guy near me over on Rt. 130 in Burlington (nj) has one sitting up on a hill next to his driveway, green with white two tone, its SO beautiful he will NOT sell it. I swear it's been sitting there my ENTIRE life damn thing hasn't moved in who knows how long.. (i'm 44)

My brother bought one for $35.00 forty yrs ago and the poor thing was was held together by hopes and dreams. He never got it on the road and his buddies would sit in the Scout drinking beer. They would throw the empties in the back and they would roll out of the rear quarters!😆

@@moremortskerepair4354 the 1 full set has had the studs replaced except for 1 stud which is in good shape the 1 odd passenger side manafold has some kind of stud that bolts in from the outside 1 in each port.lve straight edged them their good

Cool stuff! I built a derby motor from a mid 90’s Vortec 5.7, I drilled out the fuel pump rod hole and swapped the cam and it worked great!
