Does the redmi note 9 have a notification led. Not a single UA-cam reviewer talks about this and yet it's a deal breaker for a lot of people.

I just bought it about a week ago after upgrading from my old LG v20, a 2016 premium flagship and this phone feels far better. Tech progress is great :)
I'm watching this on this very phone. Gotta say I love it! $180 and it feels and works like a $1000 phone I used to have (Samsung). The battery is insane. I've used it all day and it's 11pm and it still has 50% battery. It has tons of features and still amazes me with what it can do. It also has 128gb of storage and I have a 512gb send card in it so storage will never be an issue. The best part of the phone is the display. Its huge!

The features and the specifications of the phone are really impressive especially with the integrated MediaTek Helio G85 processor. It is a good mid-range chipset for a phone in this price range. A good smartphone without having to burn the pockets. The battery 5020mAh is impressive too.

I'm afraid I'll just break glass, plus the note 9 has more complete 4G bands, so I chose it over the note 9s.
It comes with a case so it should be really hard to smash the glass
@@Glitchmelon 9s costs the same as Poco X3 in my country so I'd say I made a good decision purchasing the cheaper Note 9.
it has gorilla glass which is pretty durable
I dropped mine down a flight of stairs and it hasn't cracked even without a screen protector
Excellent review Linus. Amazing phone for the price. Great battery, camera, good gaming chipset and nfc to name but a few things. Lack of nfc is the stumbling block which stops me from buying the 9s. Keep up the good reviews my friend.

Great review. You said Note 9S is a great option for a bit more. However, how do you compare this Note 9 to the Note 8T (~€170 with NFC)?
Thanks! The phones are very similar. The 8T feels boxier in the hand but I also like it. The 8T tends to have more mature image processing thanks to SD chipset.
I just bought one on Amazon £145, it arrives tomorrow. Feeling buyers remorse though because for £45 more I could have got the 8 pro. But, I keep telling myself, I am on a budget and one has to draw a line somewhere. I'm no gamer but use a phone for just about everything else, the biggest selling points are, gorilla glass 5, big battery and camera performance. Thanks for the video, I've subbed!

Just bought this note 9 3+64gb for $99 and another set 4+128gb for $123. What a deal. I see alot of complaints in gsmarena. Can't expect so much at this ridiculously low price when it was launched less than a year ago.
This is definitely better than rn 9s as it had better display... screen bleeding issue is very serious on the 9s

I really want to order this phone but I'm worried about bloatware! Can cope with unwanted apps but not ads - I think it's fairly simple to disable the ads? Is it that simple? Are there other issues to consider with the phone mining my data?

I recently purchased this as a present 🎁 off Amazon for £99 and £96 using honey! I have the redmi note 8 which is basically identical spec wise , in the UK you can grab one of eBay internationally for £150 128gb the international phones ship from Europe so fast delivery, it's a bargain, I mainly chose the phone for a adequate screen good camera and 128gb of storage other good options in my opinion is the Huawei p30 lite, honor 20 lite, and the cheapest Samsung 128gb a series phone. I'd personally recommend xiaomi as they don't slow down phones like Samsung (I believe) and they're quite cheap at £150 on eBay for a 128gb phone all of the time or get one on sale on Amazon when xiaomi does a sale
I purchased this phone today. I am not a heavy user of mobile phones cus I do not have time to use a mobile phone at work and at home I have a PC and internet.
But it certainly beats my current mobile phone which is nine years old :)
So compared to my old phone, this is like 64x better :)

Hej, I have the 4GB + 128GB phone. I have had no problem with the phone at all.
I tried to customize the phone as much as possible (Removing all the bloatware.) (I get almost all of my apps from F-droid.)
WIFI works for me too :)

Just btw, my old phone which I have had for 9½ years is the Sony Ericsson Live with Walkman. You can compare mobile phones on some websites and see the difference between Redmi Note 9 and Live with Walkman :)

Why does my Redmi Note 9 sometimes hang just from using Chrome??? And lags on games like Parkingmania. The lag is only gone when I hide the notch for the camera in the display settings.

The lack of a flashing notification light means that if you miss an incoming message, then until you next power up the screen, you will have no idea that you've missed something.
The phone seems to perform ok ish (screen freeze's from time to time) but because of that flashing light shortcoming, it makes it very frustrating to own and use, so it's going in the bin.

Guys help me. Ive just ordered a 9S on Amazon but found out the 9S & Pro suffer Wifi connectivity issues. So just cancelled it. Amazed how good Amazon were on Chat contact. Even tho just dispatched it has been stopped and refund coming. It was sold by Amazon so that helped. I aint a nerd, near 70 but need Wifi to work. Are any UK Redmi note 9 owners that can tell me if it works ok on Wifi? Thanks.

I was going to buy the Note 9S but there are issues with the Note 9 Series so I am going to buy a Note 8 Pro or 8T that is tried and tested, only last year! Life is short if born a mobile!
I`ve spent years trying to find a phone that simply does what all phones should do and until this morning have failed!
Iv`e recieved the Redmi Note 9s today and i`m absolutly gob smacked as camera`s are very good, battery seems great, the speed is very quick indeed with no lag at all, speakers are good, screen is good, easy to use with lots of usefull apps, signal and call quality seems good so i ask myself WHY HAS NO OTHER COMPANY PRODUCED A PHONE LIKE THIS EVEN AT £700 (saying no names oneplus or samsung or motorola lol....ahem).
If this Note 9s proves to be as good for the next week or so then it`s a win win for Xiaomi and you should be advertising this brand on TV.
I`ve even tried the oneplus 7t and that failed with signal issues and rubbish battery life so again well done Xiaomi.

I dont really agree with u, better pick redmi note 8 pro, g85 still lacking performance especially gaming, even the software hasn't update yet, for prolong multitasking feel laggy.

I bought this phone and find it hangs and also has a problem connecting to my car radio but my old S2 does not do this anyone had the same problem?
The problem I have with this phone,is I can't pick a call with the finger print scanner nor take a selfie with it
