I am a big fan of Redmi line, following it from 4 , then having 7 now, thinking of swapping for 9pro, but damn, my 7 still satisfies me.
That's not just a blind love or loyalty, it's all about quality and value for money Xiaomi gives with their Redmi line smartphones so far, I hope that will remain in future or even improve.

There is something really wrong with this phone.
My display is not working exept for some flashes of the screen sometimes,
I removed the SIM card to another phone but I still hear my Xiamoi getting messages or something. it isnt notifications or commercials because i never get them otherwise.
does anyone know what the problem is?

I got a Redmi note 9 Pro and buy a regular note 9 for a friend. This budget are good for a normal person and got a lot of battery life. It's for someone need a good and not expensive phone with long life . Check for updates this week I upgrade this phone to MIUI 12

@@harshbawane6675 it's okay, graphics is decent. If you play high-fps games, expect some lag. Overall good performance.
@@L4YED Normal, it takes a while to load some messages if it's spammed.

the phone can run many apps its just that Xiaomi limits the apps running in the background. and you can disable that in the developper settings
I think it's a good thing it closes those apps, it would become laggish otherwise, like this is nice and smooth

For anyone else wanting know why it might not work out of the box (the phone) you have to enable OTG Data transfer (File Transfer) from developer options > default USB function. Getting my phone tomorrow and the controller so can't wait! Great video by the way. I just subbed.

Hey, I remember some of those names. For around $500 and depending on your location... I would try getting a last year's flagship (Samsung Note 10, LG G8, S10+, a bunch of Xiaomi flagships, etc)

@@ushilives3 i had the poco f1 and it was the best phone ever. Then i wanted to add a custom rom and after doing it i think i done something wrong. The display turns on but the touch screen doesnt work and it isnt broken. I guess its a software thing i did. The display works but i cant touch anything :(
Great phone as long as you don't need to use google maps on a cellular network.
We have in family RN7, RN8... And i must say RN7 is bit of disapoitment: there ia ghosting on the screen, MIUI is choppy... I mean i know it is device on the lower part of the Xiaomi offer but still. RN8 is better, so i guess this even more better
I personally prefer the Note 8 over this one, it felt smoother and the cameras seemed a bit better.

It's a shame you can't really use any of these Xiaomi phones in the US without sacrificing 4gLTE which will basically make your phone useless when the GSM carriers around here drop 3g.

@@RedskullPro I might have over exaggerated, They are compatible in bands Higher frequency bands but in my area they seem to just be replacing them with band 66 and 71. which none of these support.

Push notifications aren't a problem...ram management... could be better

My redmi note pro 5 (6 gb) stopped working 2 weeks ago. Motherboard died while watching youtube on the app. So from my experience, it might die in less than 3 years. Apart from that, it was a good low-end phone.
I am going for pixel 4a this time when it launches in India.
My mom is still using the Redmi Note 4 :) She doesn't do much on it and it still works after all this time. Thanks for sharing!

Frame is plastic for sure, for now the punch hole is strange for me. Redmi line is a good choice for romanians, they are cheap. Watching on RN 9 pro. 😄

Mediatek cps have gotten really good lately, you should give one a chance in the future
