Strick & Fran
Love that you guys fight and makeup...it break the illusion that everything is perfect and easy all the time. It's real.
I know a lot of people will be mad at you guys, but I absolutely love that y'all stayed and helped how you could. I would have done the same thing come the opportunity, everything deserves a chance at life even at its most vulnerable point.
Fran's even adorable when she's pissed!
Very
Unless you’re Jack …
Yeah, even the crocs went missing when she was on a strop. 🤣🤣
YUM
Maybe she will get her own channel. More Fran always a good thing
I'm a 62 year old health care worker from Massachusetts USA and you have no idea how much I love your videos please keep them coming Strick and Fran.
I’m with you there
As an Aussie, I love reading these comments. There are a lot of similarities between the wildness of parts of America and Australia. The culture that stems from that is also quite similar in a lot of ways… for example; in Australia you can’t live your life without a car, the same as a lot of America… so the car culture is a big part of peoples lives, as you start driving at a very young age. (In Australia, you are taught how to drive as soon as you can reach the pedals and steering wheel, just in case anything ever happens, kids might need to drive to a hospital if an adult is injured or bitten by a snake etc)
But in other countries, like England, there is not the same kind of car culture due to the lack of need for a car in most cases.
The animals are very different also, I would be more worried about bears than I am about crocodiles.
Look up the two blokes that had to sit in a tree for two days while a massive salt water croc was circling below them in the water…hunting them.. they got rescued by a massive crew of state emergency workers… pretty crazy stories of crocs taking people in oz!
Hey neighbor... I'm 63 yr old in Connecticut and I also love watching Strick & Fran... ( maybe Fran a little more). She's a fearless beauty with a great attitude and lots of heart. Strick is a real outdoorsman that's quite knowledgeable .
You need to come to The Great Barrier Reef mate, its beautiful
@@CiscosDisco22 if it was that easy to get to, it would have been f*** by now! The outer reef is like a universe of its own. He is not wrong!
When I noticed you were doing the cooking I had a feeling and Fran's response also gave me the feeling its going to take a little more than fried fish.😂
It can't always be happiness in paradise. Thanks for the awkward but honest moment.
Strick & Fran best duo on UA-cam!!
Agreed. I just started watching episodes. I am now a subscriber!!! Awesome stuff. A part of the world this Iowa boy has not seen!
Depends what you're looking for they're good for what they do. But my favorite Duo is reef addic
Strick and Fran are absolutely, hands down, the best duo. I so much look forward to living vicariously through them once a week. What a world we live in, that we can share a window into their lives, and watch them literally live their dream. What a blessing. The journey of a lifetime is definitely worth navigating through a spat here and there, I'm glad they share the smooth, and the choppy times with us
The turtles go toward the light that reflects off of the waves after they hatch, when you introduce as flashlight you literally screw up the the direction they would go. that is why they kept getting confused..
They should have a red light. Not a white light.
Or black light... They literally hatched under the moon . Your interference is not good
Strick?? What's up with only one shoe?!? 😅😅
It's nice to see that you guys have the same problems as other couples. None of us are perfect and we all make mistakes and get on each others nerves from time to time. I just hope you two always remember the good times more than the bad. 🤙
I don't think YoutTubers sharing there life and passion like you will ever understand how many lives you touch and people you rescue with your content. Im sorry for the Turtles but you have a much greater calling in the way you touch us weekly. If it was not for these type of channels we would of never get to meat such a amazing authentic couple. May you stay blessed and we will continue to watch as we have from the start. Stay safe
Well said .
You have no idea how much I love your videos, I'm a 60 year old teacher from Maine, USA. Great videos!!
Thanks so much 🙏🏼😊
Also from Maine also enjoy dreaming of no snow!
@@strickandfran I'm into my 80th year, living on the Clarence River ATM. For Frans benefit I've also lived in and dived the many reefs out from Townsville, worked at JCU and A.I.M.S. If you used the Turtle Islands Research Program-was mine. Been to Thursday Island and crewed a vessel back to Townsville into a mighty Southerly. Had time to go to Lizard Island though. Magic. Question Strick- how many Doctors in the Fam? Clear skies, flat seas and buona fortuna.
Hey guys. I really admire your willingness and humility to admit on camera that you both are human and that do have your moments when friction between you happens. You Strick were extremely diplomatic in your explanation, not going into detail, but making a peace offering. I was reminded of two Bible verses. 1 Corinthians 13:4-8 Love is patient and kind. Love is not jealous. It does not brag, does not get puffed up, does not behave indecently, does not look for its own interests, does not become provoked. It does not keep account of the injury. It does not rejoice over unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth. It bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails. Also, Romans 12:18 If possible, as far as it depends on you, be peaceable with all men. Good example for all of us!
🤦🏼🤦🏼🤦🏼
I don't really align with the biblical stuff, but I agree with your logic.
In Kenya, we were always told to be more than 40 ft from the water's edge. Less than that and a Nile Croc could come out of the water and get you, especially if you were not concentrating on what was in the water.
I worked on Barrow Island for a while an they reckon there that turtles navigate by stars. They used to turn off most of the lights at 8pm an the ones left on were a special colour that didn't interfere with the turtle's.
Awesome episode guys 🙏🤙
I finally found my new favorite channel on UA-cam! Cheers from Ohio USA
The light will disorient the hatchlings
Struggle is real for those little hatchlings! Predators stacked to feast on them, but they push on! Not all fun and games for the Castaways, but life is still good!
Thanks guys, almost drooling for some fresh coral trout in beer batter.
Poor little baby turtles! I hope most made it. Blessings and much love always you two! 🙏❤
I know 😞 thanks so much for the support Sam ❤️
Damn crocs. I’ve never met one I liked…. 👎🏼😡
Great video. Love is what you've been through together. Glad to see you weathered a rough patch. I really enjoy your content.
yes, life is hard at times. beautiful work guys
I watch all your videos.
They are an especially lovely during our winter months.
Thanks to both of you for your hard work and sacrifices. God bless you both… 🙏
Amazing guys! What awesome footage & info, thanks for taking us with you and helping the hatchlings. Cheers Marg & Steve
Given a choice between you helping the turtles or them ending up as crocodile snacks, I think you're doing the right thing.
Crocs got to eat too.
@@swooshdave they have enough other things to eat then snacking on a few endangered species. Fuk em
Those dear little Turtles 🙏 thank you for sharing that with us ! Also thank you for your honesty about having a bad day. I have often marvelled at how you guys get on so beautifully. It’s sweet to see you needing space , cooking peace offerings and coming together again . 🙏
Thanks for sharing! I have to get some fish to fry now! Looked so yummy!! Safe travels😎🤠
Thanks for sharing the turtle adventures. And I don't know what the preservation rules are either, but I for one am glad you chose to help that lil guy. Sadly, he didn't recover, but thank you for trying
Awesome scenery/video. Thank you.
Exceptionally amazing documentation on this post. Great job!
Very cool video! Keep sharing! We love to watch!
It was great to see the hatchlings in action! Thank you!
Wonderful films from your fantastic holiday along the coast. Have followed each film with great interest. Many, many greetings from Sweden
Fran has the best body per pixel ratio of any UA-cam channel out there. :) Just saying what everyone else is thinking.
Larissa from reef addicts is smoking too. But I guess she was getting to many comments on her out fishing and spear fishing her bf and last two videos she only got minute of screen time. Some guys get jealous and don’t realize we don’t watch for them. We just fast forward past them.
amazing episode guys.
Thanks
I am an 87 year "old Fart" and I can tell you Strick & Fran life will never get any better than this. I am so envious of your adventures.. I doubt if you could do what you do anywhere else in the world. Amazing stuff.. enjoy while you can. I usually follow some of the Sailing channels but they cannot match what you are offering. Thank you. Stay safe. And remember Strick, the lady is always right. Its much more peaceful that way. What next?? Can't wait.
No mate ! The lady is Not allways right !, reality rules ,, u men like that make me sick . The more u give in to them if infact there not right the more bossy and narcicist they become . a couple needs to be equal in a relationship its obvious and u talk about everything truthfully to sort out problems .
@@gregorythompson6521 ^^ found the incel.
Personally, if this were me camping, I would definitely invest in one of those platform tents (tents on poles) before I would feel safe spending the night amongst saltwater crocodiles. It would also offer a nice view of the overall area and the surf. Hope you would consider such an option, as camping on the ground around maneaters makes me feel worried for you. 🐊🐊🐊⛺️🐊🐊🐊
Would also add to the overall weight on the boat and sort of defeat the Back 2 Basics mentality...but you're right, it does look sketchy sometimes in these videos.
I'd be afraid the croc could snap a pole with one bite!
Remember that it's the two of you that makes the magic on your channel, stay strong.
One of my fav 3 couples on you tube. Love you 2
I love your videos. I look forward to each release. Thank you.
Thanks Fran, us guys aren't always the easiest to get along with. Thanks so much.
EVERYONE has a tiff now and then. Thanks for the great videos
Every episodes were definitely best of the best, but this episode don’t know how to described it, it’s just an epic and one of a kind…With all the different predators that present in the food chain, nature always the best..And the honesty of being human between you and Fran, makes this episode special ❤…more of this please 🙏
Amazing adventures!! Very envious, from South-West BC, Canada.
Wonderful videos, thank you for sharing..
Greetings from Redondo Beach CA 🇺🇸. Beautiful ocean. Stay safe and watch the crocks. Cheers. 🥂
You guys are amazing. This is hands down the best channel on UA-cam. Thank you both for all the beautiful videos and the hard work that lies behind them all.
Please just be extremely careful around the crocs as they can come from both directions (ware and from the sand dunes, up muddy banks). I’ve seen crocs nesting 50 m up quiet steep sand hills, banks and the speed they come flying down at to the waters, is barely enough for a human to turn our heads and see what’s making a notice and the croc has already reached the waters edge.
They’re scary fast.
Take care!
You guys are among the bravest people on this beautiful planet, I've been watching you for almost two years now, just amazing, I'm shocked by the amount of garbage that washes up on the windward side of these islands it must come from Indonesia
Good job guys...lots of beautiful pix. You two never fail to entertain. The number of turtles that do not survive the 'crawl' is staggering; 1 in 1000 will survive and make it to adulthood. Mother Nature appears creul, but she has her plan for everything in the animal and fish worlds.
One of your best videos! Rock on
The comments say it all for you two, I agree with them all, you are living the life a lot of us wish we could have been doing for even just a few months. Good luck best wishes for you both.
Good job Fran cut your hair before your tiff Strick! 😲Love to you both a great episode from a very chilly UK.
Cooking that coral trout on the boat seat with that dark grey garment or towel touching the edge of your primus stove is asking for a serious boat fire. Please keep that primus stove a lot further from any flammable cloth.
Another great video! Well done! Thank you!
The white light messes with the turtle's. You should have a red light.
But they want views, so 2 big flashlights is needed. And then they want to feel good about themselves by 'saving' a turtle that would have been killed by natural selection, and then kill fish willy nilly...
At least stay consistant.
@@paulpotier847what a dumbarse point of view what a Karen attitude who cares what you think just shut up will ya
Hey there from San Diego California USA 🇺🇸 ❤u guys stay safe keep up the great work

Literally every video is better than the last! You 2 are amazing!
This is amazing, you guys rock.!
Hi Fran and Jack it's Your friend Ray from California Great Video and wounderful information and Adventure THANK YOU FOR Sharing with Us Subscribers I Pray That GOD BLESSES YOU AND Keeps You Both Safe and Healthy 😇🙏😇
1989, Heron Island squatting down on the beach to shoot pictures of a helicopter landing on the beach. Between my feet, I felt something and for whatever reason I didn't jump, I looked down and sea turtles were hatching and coming out of the sand. The locals there said don't move until I can help you take a big step away from the nest beneath your feet. You couldn't leave any lights on at night outside of the little huts you stay in because it would draw the baby turtles away from the ocean. They had little signs by the outside light switch with baby turtle logos to remind you to leave them off as much as possible.
Still the BEST you two are AMAZING
You guys make my Sunday complete thank you ❤
Grrreat sharing of personal life / strife.
Awesome show guys!
Guys I love your content. Big fan right here. Thanks for remind us what real life is look like.
Thanks for the warmth as i sit at my house while its -17C out and dumping snow 🥶🥶
Im amazed at where do you keep all your food i the boat, i have one that size and i look i shake my head. I just found your channel cant stop watching you guys, the meals you both cook are amazing, keep doing this it reminds me of the Leland Brothers
I am scared of crocs. No way I would want to be that close 😂 I love the Ocean though
Love your videos guys I don’t know weather this will help out but when I’ve been stuck what has helped me and my wife is the anchor winch throw that out and when the tides coming in it can help as well for that extra bit of muscle
Strick and Fran: don't carry the turtles towards the sea as they might not fins their way back
Also Strick and Fran: Keeping turte eggs in a bucket
good luck for these three turtles to find back into the bucket for breeding one day
But great video tho guys, keep up :)
Thanks for the turtle show, so now other parts of the world can see what you see, we do have an amazing world, thanks so much for sharing an important part of the world. When one part of the world gets affected, other parts of the world gets affected.
Great videos.
You should put your stove on a Gimble system to keep the waves from messing with the stove. 😊
Love your Channel, be Safe, Awesome Content ❤
Fran is cute watching you in the dog box. I like how she didn’t admit peace offering solved everything. 😂
Fran and Strick! Thank you so much for sharing your adventures. You are both beautiful, lovely, caring and compassionate human beings, in so many ways. In your love for each other. Caring about the natural world, never taking more than you need to survive, returning the smaller fish back to their habitat to build up stronger stocks. I am honoured to be able to follow along with you! Much ❤ and happy and safe adventures.
Such and amazing adventure, nature is awesome, thanks for sharing with us the adventure you are on. The Crabs will be coming a looking for ya all! 🤣🦀😲They have long memories LOL! Beer batter for the win! Stay safe, have fun! 🍻👍♥

Thanks for the awsome videos🌴
What a great episode.. The Turtles, the Crocs, the fishing.. I even got a kick out of Fran being angry at you. I am guessing on long trips like this you have a lot of those moments.

Nice and easy guys! Just get along 🥰💪🤙🥃
- love your videos! Can you show a “map-shot” of the various islands/reefs you stop on? In the past, you’ve mentioned a few by name and I can find them… but, it’d be interesting to chart your travels as you pull us along for the ride!
From Heather Ross-White, love you guys and Az...my eldest son was an environmental scientist in Queensland a few years ago ... xxx
Don't get me wrong! Compassion is a great thing~ I love it!
You guys are great another Frantastic episode, I would love to join you guys for an adventure

We’re relocating from N. VA later next year. Selling our house, VA backed loan. Renting until we’re certain on purchase decision. Retired military & fed civilian. Interested in Ladera Towers w/ southern ocean views. UOG & SROTC grad back in the early 80s.
I honestly get excited when a new episode comes out!
I watch your videos faithfully. From the Yukon, Canada. Quite a difference in climate eh! Cheers
I like his shades ... the fact that they also cover your peripheral sight from the sun.
Super enjoyable episode. Hope Fran was keeping you on point about being safe around Crocs. Never turn your back on them at night. Think how she would try to help you in attack. Turtle babies hatching and crocs eating all around Id rather see you both on your peter pan Island adventure for years to come. Fran is a perfect Tinkerbell
Great shows
Just retired this week and now catching up on past episodes and revisiting past ones. Thank you two for sharing that part of the world with all. Watching from Oklahoma, U.S.A.

Strick n Fran * we have been enjoying your sweet videos and love how you two have a sweet bond to ... God bless always ..from Tom n Susie ...up North Michigan ..we have snow here yet !! lool
love fran, she is so attractive and fit , then she casually puts on her "super-dag" hat and wow! adorable! such a kind soul to the animals but even the crocks know to keep well clear of the queen of the sea! even the big one was like " nope! i have heard about her..."
