Hey you two, I am an United States Air Force officer, retired but during my time in the AF I was trained as an aircraft mishap investigator. The yellow box like item Fran's sister found (11:03) looks like part of a large rescue raft, there are several items you found that could be aircraft parts or parts of other aircraft. Look for numbers like serial or part numbers. Somebody will hopefully see this and send someone there to investigate. Also, be careful with the things you find. BTW, the turtles could be dying from fluids left over from the crash site, if there is a crash. You are doing a good thing so hopefully this will lead to more answers.
Nice one sir! And yea I agree they should really be wearing some sort of gloves when touching those items especially the rusty ones. Although what they do is admirable but their life is also as important so they should really be more careful. They already almost lost their boat, almost attacked by sharks, many many injuries etc 😅
I lost a very close friend on that aircraft, so I found this episode very interesting. I, myself am a licensed aircraft maintenance engineer. The most interesting thing that I saw on this video, was the item that you found at 4:56, It looks like it could be an Air Conditioning Silencer or mixing manifold for a very large aircraft. The tire, is another item of interest, If you could find a Part Number and a Serial Number on the duct and / or the tire, this can be easily traced back to the specific aircraft since every serialized part is closely tracked in the aircraft's historical records.
As A retired Avionics Engineer, Boeing Certified on 747, 737, 727 as well, and since that I know the type of technology used on these airplanes, I believe there is something seriously wrong with the whole story, too many un answered questions, to me it sound like someone doesn't want this missing giant airplane to be found period
Plane landed at Diego Garcia island...there were engineers from Austin TX on plane...by them dieing a certain company was sole owner of a patent...I think it was the carlye group...
On a different note, I saw a show on the idiot box at 1am the other day called Savage Australia, Jack your a hero saving Az's life after nearly drowning chasing doggies, you both were so young, I think you guys need to tell everyone about it, keep up the great work, missed you both not posting last week 👍
Keep on doing what you guys are doing. It is so meaningful to many of us who are not able to travel and do what you do. It's a thrill to tag along and vibrate along with you when you are excited by the beautiful wildlife and ocean views and I feel like you both sincerely try to appreciate the great gift you have in your hands.-yeah? AWESOME VIDEOS!!!
Wow, watching this when you spoke to the local and recognised him from his time in Broome, Greg C. I worked with his wife and our kids went to school together. Happy Easter guys. Thanks for the interesting and scenic content.
I loved this episode. It's always fun searching for things. On a sadder note, it's a bummer seeing the amount of trash that washes up in a paradise like that.
So glad Fran is talking more in the videos. Is so much better than just being eye candy. She is a smart intelligent woman. Hopefully she will give up more information on the biology of the ocean and creatures. Love the videos. Thank you both.
Thanks for the interesting episode. I hope Fran’s sister is enjoying herself. We always appreciate your efforts. This was wonderful of you to look into.
Great episode , I love your idea to search the debris deposited on those islands , while the chance of finding something from the MH370 is very small , it is still a worthy and commendable thing to put some time into. Just my opinion , the heavy metallic parts of MH370 are probably lying on the Ocean bottom under 3,000 meters of water , your best chance would be of finding personal items that floated to the surface after the crash. Of the millions of bits of debris in the Ocean and washing up on beaches , MH370 pieces are a tiny fraction of 1 % , but I applaud the three of you for making the effort . Thanks again for a great video.
CONGRATULATIONS! Might've slipped past me, but realized today you've reached 500K supporters - this is an amazingly short time for this channel to be up to accrue so many subscribers! And you deserve it.
As Tom stated these parts of aircraft have closely tracked serial numbers. On any bolts for planes will have a hollowing of the bold head to reduce weight an example of a small detail to look for. What you are doing is great, I hope you discover something to give the victims family some closure.
Hi Fran and Jack and Fran's Sister TOO it's Your friend Ray from California. Another great adventure and video keep up the Great Work and GOD BLESS YOU ALL 😇🙏😇
Such a fascinating video! Awful to see the rubbish that gets washed up on these remote islands, but so interesting to wonder what’s the story behind some of those finds. And that local who said what had been washing up! We firmly believe the plane is in the southern Indian Ocean and it’s just a matter of when they find it there. Well done for such a sensitive approach to searching for wreckage in the hopes of finding some answers. Love you guys ✨
Hey Strick &Fran, i feel so sad for all the people who died in this mysterious flight crash. We should not stop to find some more details - stunning what`s all washed up on this beach, the trash is insane ! Great episode, Thank you both, you are wonderful ! ✌🙏💙👍
you should look up some of the incredible plastic collection machines that are deployed in the pacific. they use solar power, and just sort of float around gathering huge clumps of floating plastic piles. it scoops the plastic out of the water into huge nets, and boats come by every few days or weeks to collect it and haul it out so it can be properly disposed of. fantastic systems taking ton after ton of plastic out of the water
Strick, you better never get Fran steamed! We see how she tosses that anchor like a toy! She's got the guns!! Well, little sis is cute, but Fran... Well, you know, don't you!? Fit and beautiful! You make all the little mermaids jealous!
What a fantastic way to spend some time. You guys are great. You girls look so natural and at home in the water, I am beginning to believe in Mermaids. We came from the sea, who is to say that some of us didn't go back. Great show, thankyou.
HUZZAH! Fran! You are the first person in a thousand adventure videos to actually ask for permission to board!! Way to Maritime!!! Also...as always...Thanks so much for all the adventures!!!!
Love when you guys hunt and cook but this was a very interesting theme. Next time you could have a competition on who could find the nicest trash piece.😊
Strick, at 4:45 in the video... that could be a muffler or other type of tank from an aircraft possibly from the auxiliary power unit (APU/generator) in the tail of a plane. Most all materials from aircraft are aluminum or plastic and that is a unique item. Separately, we really have a global issue with Indonesian garbage.
I see all that greenery of the coast/beach and maybe metal detection over the greenery would help uncover stuff that's been covered my greens or coral over that time.
I love watching your videos y’all are awesome 👏 🤩 y’all always have interesting and even educational videos I absolutely love that definitely keeps me as a viewer 😇👍🏽
Awesome episode and glad you invited family on it !!!!! There is always something to wash up on the beach and I hope you help a family to find something that will bring them closure
Whoops, I posted link to more info on why Cocos Keeling might have seen the first debris in 2014 from a 7th Arc crash site near Java. I think my comments got nuked because of the link. I'd be very interested in any more footage of interviews with the locals. Thanks for a great vid!

No fuselage ( wheel doors, wings or rudders ) have foam/styrofoam attached to it, especially not an commercial airliner like MH370. The piece your friend found and that you pointed out is the wheel door from a plane, not so unfortunately, not even from a prop plane. If you google pictures from different parts of that plane ( MH370 ) you will see how big (and heavy ) they really are. I have worked in the airline industry for over 30 years and climbed all over most planes in my life. That said, there could be other personal or interior parts that are lighter, smaller in size and more buoyant from MH370. A very sad and unsolved piece of aviation history nevertheless. Keep looking and good luck👍

To answer Jack’s question- ‘What’s killing all these turtles? ‘ The obvious answer is all that trash that humans produce.
probably a very major factor. humans suck, dont we?!
