I love your channel and your honesty. I’m 24 and living with my family still. This is an integral part of my culture and I’m currently unemployed. Studies had to be deferred. Applying for work, constantly, but I’m also a career for a sick parent. I’m done with keeping up with the world, things will happen at their own pace and all that matters is we’re doing what we can to be healthy, happy and contributing to our community.
I'm 30 and had to move back with my parents. It's been a humbling experience but I have enjoyed spending time with them. I'm reinventing my life and decided to switch careers. I love my parents and I know this isn't forever. Enjoy it while you can!
I been there. I met a girl at 22 and married her and moved away shortly afterwards. I ended up moving back with my parents at age 24 for 3 months. Man I gotta tell you it was the worse experience and it reminded me of why I left in the first place. I don’t hate my family but I couldn’t live with them. I’m always being taken advantage of and accused of running up the electric bill even though the only thing I ever use is my friggin cell phone and washing my clothes once a week. The only reason that I moved back with my family (my wife was with me as well) was because my mobile home was being built. I offered to chip in for rent and even help with the bills. They got greedy and took advantage. Once I moved out, they got mad at me. Anyways I enjoy my my time in peace. I’m 28 and happy as hell to have my own place once again.
Finally, I been wanting you to upload. I'm pretty much in the same situation. Living with my parents and trying to get a job in the tech industry. I'm trying to self teach and it's so overwhelming
I’m in the same situation i just graduated and now im at home unemployed and i think im going crazy because it’s the first time in 5 years living with my parents, don’t get me wrong they are the sweetest parents i couldn’t ask for more, it’s just that i’m so not used to this plus the battle of will i find a job during this pandemic no calls so far..🥺🙏🏼 Ps: can you please keep posting about this (vlogs,topics..) anything that could help us thank you love u

The reason I love UA-cam is for this reason. It is refreshing to watch others experience what you yourself may be experiencing, too. It's assuring to know I'm not alone or lame lol. Thank you, girl!
not unemployed fortunately, but have been living with my parents since i graduated college in 2017 and it's been such a good decision for me (mostly financially, thanks to student loan debt lol). finally starting to look at apartments + moving out this fall, i think the timing is finally right for me! 💌
im in the same situation too just graduated last dec, move back home and still looking for work. its hella hard but im glad im not the only one feeling this way!
Hey, just clicked on your video because I thought I also related to the title. I also graduated from college in 2019. I lived in my college town until early 2020, but then moved back home and continuing my exhausting job search here. The pandemic hit, so career/job hunting was put on hold. Since things "opened up", I've been working at a coffee shop just to start saving up money again and not stay at home all the time, which I totally miss too. But yeh, I completely get it. For a while, I had to make a real effort to tell myself that I was not in a rush, that a nice career opportunity would show up eventually, and I would move out of my parents sooner or later. It's totally cool living at home. Sure, I miss living in an apartment and with friends, but I've since realized that it's these days that I'm gonna miss when I truly move out again. Trying to appreciate it while it lasts has been a helpful mentality for sure.
Very random, but the “What I spend in a week” trend was very popular a few months ago and I think it would be very cool to see what you spend in a week as an unemployed millennial!
I’m 35 back at my parents too and... it sucks because 2020, I had big plans but now I’m trying redirect my career and emotionally find myself. But nonetheless I’m grateful to have a place to fall back on. It’s just been somewhat frustrating with my moms strict Filipino rules about EVERYTHING. 😂 But cheers to self love and reinventing 💗
I'm thankful that in my Country is not wierd to live with your parents basically until you get married. And some people literally stay at home after getting married as long as you have a job/career and help financially it's totally fine. Is way worse if you just live your elderly parents living by themselves here. That's more frown upon actually
I also unemployed millennials too. I am 24 and living with my parents. This Pandemic messed up my whole university plan :(. I am still gonna achieve that goal and I am majoring in History with a minor in International Relations. However, psychology is another major that may be skyrocketing due to mental health from this Pandemic!
I graduated and currently have an office job that basically pays me peanuts and not enough to survive on my own. My father passed away and was well off and had no mortgage on the home we live in so it’s just me, my Mom and our Pomeranian in a 5 bedroom house. I try to pull my weight by helping out here and there and I am saving as much money as I can but I am still embarrassed by the situation I am in. It would be nice to meet my life partner already as I have saved up enough money for down payment but don’t have sufficient income to cover the mortgage payments.
@ Michelle: I am single and if i wasn’t it would probably be easier for me to qualify for a mortgage with the double income because I already have the 20% down payment but the problem is my salary is too low to qualify for monthly mortgage payments so it would probably require a salary of two people to qualify.
@ Dustin: I agree with you however I’m just saying it will make it much easier for me to be on my own if I had a significant other. I know a couple who just recently bought their first home and it was only possible together they both didn’t qualify on their own.
in hindsight knowing what you know now, would you recommend double majoring in business with something technical? like business and cs, business with engineering, instead of what you did with only business
Justin not usc’s business, it’s business administration, general, other csu and uc’s do have specialized business along with general, as in business administration general, business administration marketing, business administration finance, etc
ClashOfClans Yes, the CSUs have specialized tracks as do the UCs that offer business admin as well. While USC doesn’t offer that, they still give you the opportunity to specialize by using your upper elective classes to take specific classes like finance or accounting. While it doesn’t explicitly say that they offer specialized concentrations, you’re still practically “specializing.”
Has anyone commented on the fact that she just casually sent her stuff upstairs via elevator...no? Okay? Moving on I guess. I'm also assuming that this is a single family house
