    I love your positive attitude about not being able to get the room that you wanted in that house! It must’ve been pretty disappointing since it would’ve been perfect 😢

    you could put up temporary wallpaper that is bright (if you can't paint)& mirrors to make the dark room as bright as possible

    Would it be feasible for you to find a place on your own or are you looking for roommates as well if you choose not to move into this house? I think it'd be so interesting to see you living on your own through your unemployed millennial series! Excited to see the rest of your house hunting journey!

    Something that might help is to put mirrors in the room to reflect light in the dark room.

  • @MonikaSalita
    @MonikaSalita 4 роки тому

    I was going to suggest one of the same things that someone has already said - could you ask the homeowner about repainting the room and use a ring light to facilitate greater light in your room? Perhaps those two options together could help to fill the gap of not having a lot of light in the downstairs room.

  • @tamamoni8908

    Excited to see your rent tours! I don’t know why the previous home owners decided to paint their walls navy blue. It’s too dark for a room. Here in NJ, renting a nice one bedroom apartment is about 2,000+ a month.

    haha this is so funny. I thought you were being so gracious and modest when you looked around the house and were genuinely happy for the other roomates to have the nice rooms and you have the awful one! but then you came back and said how you wanted the nice room!!!! lol

    Would you be able to paint the room a different color. Maybe a lighter color to make it seem bigger since the darker color does absorb all the lighting

  • @MrVikingsandra
    @MrVikingsandra 4 роки тому +3

    okay you are literally so pretty 🥺 also which cities in Alaska would you recommend moving to? I’m 15 and my parents have looked into Wasilla and anchorage but they’re still looking so if you have any other recommendations I’d love to hear! :)

    • @curlytoezz
      @curlytoezz 4 роки тому +1

      If you’re looking more for a “off the grid vibe” then wasilla is it but if you want more of a “city vibe” anchorage is it. Either one is very beautiful but anchorage is definitely more sort of updated and has more stores etc.

    I randomly came across your video. Are you attached to Anchorage? If you can afford 950 a month there are good options in the valley :) I pay that for a great 2 bedroom. When I had a roommate I had a beautiful townhome with 3 beds and 2.5 bathrooms and have recently looked at houses to rent for around 1,000, but I can't do that alone lol. Just saying, you may want to look beyond.

    I've been wanting to move to Alaska for a while now, but I'm currently at a university in NY and was planning on finishing my computer science degree before moving. I was just wondering if someone with programming experience and a CS degree has any chance of getting a job up there lol. Love nature and programming.

      mirrors can make a big dirrerence as well as light colored or white furniture
