I never understood the whole "pipe organs are creepy instruments" thing. Even as a child I regarded them as beautiful and the king of instruments. I like to hunt for pipe organ covers of songs I like. I loved your cover!
I agree! (Although I think under the right circumstances they can sound “creepy”, just not in general) I’m glad you enjoyed the cover. There’s a lot more like this one on my channel.
I might describe the organ as “imposing.” Much like how you view it as the “king of instruments,” I think the organ commands a great deal of respect. Its power and capability make it both beautiful and frightening.
I love how quickly the piece goes from soft and creepy to fast and menacing as Frolo slowly lusts for the love he can never obtain and begs the Lord to forgive him for what he has done, and will do.
This is, in my opinion, the best arrangement and "cover" of the Hellfire piece I have seen on youtube or anywhere else. Thank you for the performance, this made my day!
One of my absolute favorite songs! I love how I could picture a live adaptation (with a Borgias-esque quality) from this. Totally agree that there needs to be more Disney movies with organ in it.
This was awesome! Most cover arrangements forget the woodwind trills for the chorus and that's what makes the song for me! Great job and hopefully Disney will get that organ soundtrack moving!
Great performance and arrangement! 😃 I actually recently released my own organ arrangement sheet music for free on my Musescore and on the UA-cam and Soundcloud video/audio versions of it.
I"m a beginner organist, and I would love to try to play this song (if my instructor deems it appropriate for my skill level). Is there any way to purchase your scores?
I’ve got two challenges for you, if you’re up to it! The one is Paul Stanley’s “Hold Me, Touch Me” and Rebecca St. James’ “Little One”. They’re both soft ballads, so it shouldn’t be too difficult for you.
Awesome arrangement! I'm wanting to do my own cover of hellfire, but i'm worried that if I use the instrumental most people use, I might get a copyright strike. Would it be alright if I use this arrangement for my cover? (obviously i'll give you credit for the instrumental)
Thanks for your interest! Copyright stuff on UA-cam can be complicated, but I’d like to help you out if I can. I’d like to know more about what you’re hoping do do, so could you please send me an email with the details. I think that will be an easier way for us to communicate. You can find my email address in the About section of the channel.
The Beauty and the Beast sequel has a lot of organ music since the "villain" is a living Organ (I guess it counts as a prequel since the story happens before the curse is lifted) my added note is that I think that your recording without a bass boost so the full range of the organ is not present for your listeners. I had to make sure I had the settings on my earphones still at the proper levels, I saw that you were pressing the peddles but barely if at all heard the lower range. (it also make the middle range sound a little tin-ey)

Probablu The Phantom of Opera
there is a whole history that has made the organ a "creepy" instrument; but I agree, it is a beautiful instrument

The Micky Mouse cords in the background
Yes indeed! Can you find the other hidden Mickeys in my other Disney videos?
I was just about to say something about that
Me too!
What is a mickey mouse cord?
@@WetaMantis the cables in the back shaped to look like mickey mouse
I swear the organ is a piano on steroids
More like a piano is an Organ with Beta Blockers considering that the Organ actually came first
It's the steroid piano
most organs makeup part, if not the majority, of the building they're in too
@@Darth_Nycta_13 yep, that's true
Imagine walking into church and hearing this. I'd freak out.
I have been wanting this for years
This is, in my opinion, the best arrangement and "cover" of the Hellfire piece I have seen on youtube or anywhere else. Thank you for the performance, this made my day!
Like the thumnail
This is why I love the Organ its creepy but very beautiful. You can play almost any song on it.

I see a hidden Mickey behind his back
You found it! I’ve hidden them in a number of my covers.
I will time stamp the videos if I see them
Do you think you could also do The Bells of Notre Dame? This was awesome.
That must be so hard to play! You have to use your feet AND hands!🙎🔥
@Carol Ziegler wow, want a trophy
This man is on *FIIIAAA*
Try it on 1.25 speed
Wow, it works better
Stunning arrangement and unbelievable talent. You did justice to Disney’s finest villain tune!
One of my absolute favorite songs! I love how I could picture a live adaptation (with a Borgias-esque quality) from this. Totally agree that there needs to be more Disney movies with organ in it.
@Carol Ziegler It isn't though. By far, the most versatile instrument would be the piano/harpsichord.
Hellfire in Notre Dame....
What does that remind me of?
F
When the cathedral was burned.
Wow! That song does sound spectacular on a pipe organ!
Thanks! Glad you liked it!

I'm all for it!! An ALL organ soundtrack!!! 😍
Someday I would love to learn how to be an animator. Maybe I’ll just make my own movie or short and give it an organ soundtrack.
Cool! That fast, high bit with your right hand that starts around 1:50 is great :D
I love your work! I would love it if you made an arrangement of Concerning Hobbits from The Lord of the Rings!
Great performance and arrangement! 😃
I actually recently released my own organ arrangement sheet music for free on my Musescore and on the UA-cam and Soundcloud video/audio versions of it.
Sorry, now I'm just spamming you because you're so freaking amazing!!!!!!!!
That's ok, I'm glad you're enjoying the videos!

Grand Rapids eh? I live near there and attend Grand Valley State University.

Bravo, Maestro!
I have song suggestions ...could you do the bells of notre dame please...

He named forte
I hope that tenor F# has been fixed since this video.
Oh Lord I love this! I always wanted to hear this (also ngl Hellfire is my favourite song)
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it! This is such a great song (and works really well on the organ). All the music from this movie was so good.
@@YensidOrganist 100% agreed, I personally love organs and want to hear more of them just I can’t find much sometimes, brilliant cover though!
You’ll find a lot of organ music here!
Imagine this, but being sung in Latin
I have good news! check out ScorpioMartianus he released a version in Latin a few days ago.
@@fernwehn5925 thank you very much!
well maybe an organ was used in fantasia
Not a good execution, sorry !
