Just stumbled upon your videos after years of hands problems and I can say from my own extensive reasearch that you really know what you are talking about. I watched the forearm video and I like how you really incorporate many different aspects from myofascial release to eccentric exercies to promote tendon growth. Keep up the great work and thank you!
I'm glad I'm watching this. I bought one which feels great BUT I noticed that I was tightening up even more after using it. I stopped and went to see a physical therapist who was able to address my issues. Now my muscles are staying loose enough to get the benefit of my massage gun. Thanks for discussing the pros and cons of using a massage gun. I bought a Thera and which is cool but the downside is you have to use their app to get the unit working.
I just came out of my cast a day ago after a tib/fracture my bone is fully healed but is still gonna continue to heal an remodel. I wanna use a massage gun because my muscles are weak an need to recover and they are sore from me moving and strengthening it is it safe to use a massage gun??
Thank you for the clarity in your presentation. I did not pick up how long to use in one session? Example 5 min on a muscle would be sufficient for starters? Thx
I’ve got one of the £25 jigsaw massage attachment kits from Amazon plus a Bosch cordless 12V jigsaw as it’s smaller than my Dewalt. Fantastic - very powerful.
I am so impressed with your videos my man. However, with this particular one i believe a bit more technical details on how deep tissue massage works and helps with say muscle suppleness, preventing knots and strengthening (maybe?) would have been great. I bought these primarily for the purpose of using after/during a heavy gym workouts (weigh training and kickboxing etc) which leaves no energy to use a foam roller. The results have been great with no spasms or tight muscles. Thank you once again.
Hi John, You're absolutely welcome! Glad to hear the video was helpful. Thanks for the additional feedback on the content. I'll be sure to include these when I do another review. Best wishes, Ashley.
Definitely gave you a "thumbs-up". I bought one via Amazon several months ago, and I absolutely love it (70 year old tennis player). I think I paid about $140 (USD). I will avoid mentioning the brand here, and like you, I have no vested interest. The only thing I think you should have mentioned is that most come with a variety of useful attachments. Still, a great job! I am now a subscriber...
Hi Walter, that's so good to hear and I'm so happy you love it! I think they are brilliant! Yes you are totally right I should have mentioned about the attachments but quite honestly I actually forgot to mention about them. Best wishes, Ashley.
I stumbled upon your video; love how you clearly explained each different pain, clarity on how to trouble shoot base on the pain(s) and different muscles etc contributing / risk factors associated. Can one use the massage gun on someone with hip arthritis as well as slipped disc? What are your thoughts on a mini massager - ie Hikeren? came upon this,, not the brand ' mini'.Thank you
thanks for this video as i might get elementry one and see how it is for my arms and lower leg muscles. Also, can you pls do one video for (forward) pelvis. i am suffering from it don't know if you can help. thanks ash!
Hey jj thanks for the message, yes I can certainly do a video about forward pelvic tilt. In what way are you suffering? Is it causing you pain? Best wishes, Ashley.
@@PrecisionWellbeing thanks for replying ash. i am suffering from standing, sleeping and sitting. i mean i can't sleep flat on the bed cos there always a gap (waist area) there where causing the pain. when i stand for long then i need to bend over and feeling better. thank you from jj
Sounds like there's a lot of tightness in your lower back muscles and hip flexors. Have you watched these two back videos of mine; ua-cam.com/video/hbdK1kC_KyI/v-deo.html and ua-cam.com/video/DY4lqOkXQtY/v-deo.html . I think these would be good places for you to start and of course at some point I will do a pelvic tilt video too. Best wishes, Ash.
Thanks for the content. Just wondering how safe it is to use a massage gun on the "overused" muscles, RSI, fasciitis, trigger points etc. These aren't acute injuries but do cause pain and inflammation.
Yes it will be fine as long as you don't put too much pressure on and don't do it for too long over the areas that get inflamed. If you work around the problem areas then you shouldn't have any issues. Just start with the minimum amount of time and gradually build it up. I hope that helps. Best wishes, Ashley
I use massage gun for better lymphatic circulation as well as for release of trigger points. It is easy, effective and fast. No more filling socks with tennis balls.
Just to let you know I have never put a comment on UA-cam but I would like to say to you all what you saying is completely useless Thank you for nothing
Great info, love the details of your videos! I am binging quite a few of them!
Very helpful - just bought the Renpho from Amazon.
You're most welcome! Let me know how it goes. Best wishes, Ashley.
Did the gun help you?
I brought a Hipervolt GO that is smallerin size than the one you showed, I hope you can show more about how to use it on arms

Good review, particularly the comparison on price v quality and power.

You try it?
what hypervolt model are you using ? the newest pro model of hypervolt stalls very quickly and it has poor stall force.
Thank you for the clarity in your presentation. I did not pick up how long to use in one session? Example 5 min on a muscle would be sufficient for starters? Thx
$400 for the hypervolt that is still freaking expensive the Hydra gun I heard is a beast and that thing is 300
i bought Huwaei super quiet for 100$ from china

Can you tell me if they are any good for ligaments and tendons. Torn or pulled. Or just for muscle.
How can it reach my lower back?
Hi ,found info very useful. Had one query ,can it be used to relive muscle stiffness post RA inflammatory changes. Thanks
