3 in 4 Canadians think Trudeau should step down now: poll

- When Canada’s Liberals vaulted from third to first place in the 2015 election, it was all because of Justin Trudeau - a leader that Canadians were excited about after nearly nine years of former prime minister Stephen Harper. But after eight years of Trudeau, most Canadians seem to be ready for a change again.
New polling provided exclusively to Global News by Ipsos finds Conservative leader Pierre Poilievre leading Trudeau by 16 points, with 72 per cent of total respondents saying Trudeau should step down now. Among those who identify as Liberal Party supporters, one in three said it was time for a new party leader.
“I've never seen a number that high for a Prime minister, probably since Brian Mulroney back in ‘91, ‘92. And that that's what this really reminds me of,” Ipsos CEO Darryl Bricker said.

I’m a former Liberal. Even worst than Trudeau is his finance minister who talks as if she is interfacing with school children. Listening to her is like fingers down a chalk board. This government is in an absolute free fall and they deserve it. They are absolutely terrible and need to go now.
Yes, the Liberal party need a new leader, and certainly not bobblehead Freeland. The problem is that the Conservative pander too much to the far right. There is no "center". Kind of like in the US. We need a less ideological and more pragmatic party.

Since Biden took office, there seem to have been more unfavorable results in America likewise Canada.

Under his watch, house prices have doubled, he has recklessly spent more than all the previous PM combined (adding to the national deficit and debt). Was found guilty of violating the code of ethics twice. Almost 2 million Canadians go to food banks every months because they can't afford rent or mortgage and groceries. Want to ban hunting rifles, quadrupled the carbon tax, enacted the emergency act to crush the protest in Ottawa. Froze the bank account of many protesters. Under his watch Chinese police stations operate in Canadian soil. Damaged the energy sector, especially in Alberta. the number of homeless and drug use skyrocketed. Crime rates are at all time high. That's only a couple of things off the top of my head. You'll find plenty more if you care to look.

At 63 I'm on a unpaid medical leave for over a year now suffering from Guillain-Barre syndrome, a rare disorder in which your body's immune system attacks your nerves. I have good days and really bad days too.
Never took any CERB and worked everyday during the pandemic. Although I WANT TO work I can't do fine motor skills with my hands, which has been difficult as I was a graphic designer working in the sign industry. Speech is difficult at times too. Fought my way walking and have good motor reflex in my legs and lower body, no real strength issues, just tire so damn fast.
I don't want pity, just some help working through the quagmire of getting financial assistance. Still I have to wait 120 days before this government will even look at long term disability, because seriously, who'd hire a 63 year old graphic designer/ production worker who can no longer perform the duties of a graphic designer/ production worker? ... where is the help!?!

If a government leader is in power and he 'likes' his fellow co-workers a bit too much, then the possibility of cross-pollinated corruption is always the case when blackmail comes into play... You'd wanna bail out your long time friend won't you, at any cost?
But if he kept his relationship with his workers strictly professional and separate, then he can co-operate but also learn to doubt words, and trust data that he can see himself. Inability to 'trust' the data then? You could pit multiple workers to fact check each other to try to get a cross reference of data, and then see for yourself if there's any deception.

I mean Trudeau called an election early during a pandemic because he knew the conservatives were reorganizing their party and was afraid of competing against a solid Conservative party. So he sabotaged them. And if he cares about the pandemic he wouldn't have forced people to go out and vote during it when it simply wasn't necessary.
