I'm just a little bit hooked on your videos. And I swear, it has absolutely nothing to do with the adorable young lady! Ok. Maybe a little. The honest commentary is refreshing in a world where many state everything is wonderful, good, delicious, etc.

Again, thanks for a very informative video! We are in a Sky Suite on Apex in March. I was unaware we could also eat in Blu. My wife liked Blu when we were in Aqua Class on the Summit to Bermuda. And I didn't realize there were other things to do in Eden besides the dining venue. I was about to book dinner at Eden but it seems very pricey if you've already got Luminae as an option. Good to know that we can go there for entertainment and a drink. Thanks again.

We did that same cruise, in the Retreat in March for our 25th anniversary. It was an incredible experience. Beautiful ship, awesome food and friendly crew, just wonderful. If you’re watching this and ever do sail on Apex do yourself a favor and spend the money for dinner at Eden, might be one of the best meals I’ve EVER had.
Eden is amazing. We are going back on the Apex in June to Norway and Eden will be on the list again.

No romance. I came across some promos for the Celebrity ships Meridian, Zenith, Horizon, and the theme was food, pampering, romance. These ships date back to the 1980s and 1990s. Now it is varied dining, large staterooms, spa choices, activities, entertainment with tech assistance. But little romance. This is what the Edge, Apex, Beyond and Ascent are essentially. Also, in this case exclusivity because this is a retreat experience that's going to be 3 times or more the cost of a regular cabin. The luxury class cruise if you so choose.
The romance of being at sea, the feel of the sea air from the promenade deck or an aft deck, staring at the stars from a quiet space on deck, or dancing to a combo in a choice of lounges isn't there. The presentation of food in the MDRs had linen wrapped trays and felt lined choices of teas and a number of servers at your table for those more humble but romantic ships vs. these more trendy ships. Maybe you could find romance in the restaurants but the restaurants were just one part of the romance. I miss the romance of Celebrity and there are touches of it on the Millennium and Solstice ship lost on this latest class. And this ship has no sense of heritage. It's like a pretty ship from any line with only the Cosmopolitan and Normandie dining rooms feeling like a strong sense of a Celebrity ship. Their fonts and decor are retro-modern, Celebrity's signature style not utilized much on this class.
I feel the views of the Luminae are wasted onboard this ship as maybe some will get to see them that are lucky enough to use that dining venue. On the Prima, there's a place for everyone and the Haven class are toward the aft. I prefer that. This is likely the more luxurious dedicated suite space however.
I wish Eden was smaller. Someplace to be closer to the performer(s). The Club is smaller but it's like a dance club. I liked the violinist shown but all of the public entertainment or dance spaces feel open and vertical, not club-lounge like, a different feel to a dance club.
I don't think it's the overall size of this ship that lacks romance. I think it's none was placed into areas beyond the restaurants. I think the designers need to go back into putting the romance back into the design on Celebrity. Because when it is there, it's something special. And when it is missing, it's something obvious.
I do like that you are enjoying yourselves. You are considerate of your fellow passengers and down to earth. I feel this is Celebrity but something different than their usual feel.

He is amazing. He did not have to give us a second of his time on his vacation but he graciously and extensively shared some secrets to maximizing a channel. So thankful for meeting him and his wife and can’t wait to see them again!
We are definitely have to go on a Celebrity ship. It looks amazing. OMG I would love love love to play curling. Also watching you to just cracks me up.😅😂
Oh it is a definite must do experience! Just a completely different experience than NCL or Royal!

Just finished haven on norwegian cruise line bliss to Alaska/Canada It was exactly as you guys said it would be. I went with my sisters family. The food was to die for and unlimited. Rooms were great with a nice balcony. Bathroom spacious luxurious and can see the sea from it. Lastly solo travelers club was really fun to meet lifelong friends/travel buddies for future. Thank you guys

Curling was so much fun. We want that for our basement.
Dinner we ate at Blu which is for the Aqua class but Retreat gets access as well. For lunch and breakfast we ate at Luminae.
Honestly we probably should have just done Luminae.

Such a shame that your husband wasn't brought up properly. Why do a lot of American think that it is ok the wear their hats whilst eating in a restaurant of any kind. It is the height of bad manners. I am surprised and disappointed that one of the staff on Apex didn't ask him to remove it. I am travelling on Apex soon and I hope that my fellow guests will know that wearing hats whilst eating is a totally unacceptable.
Trying to judge an upbringing based a hat at breakfast or lunch is very judgmental. Hats are not allowed at dinner and he will not wear a hat when it is not allowed. It is also bad manners to judge a person so please refrain from judging. We hope you enjoy the Apex but please do not judge other passengers enjoying the vacations that worked hard to pay for with their income.
I am sorry but good manners apply at all times, not dependant on time or where you are eating.

Drink packages are a rip off.
We always do the math based on the sea/port day ratio and the price being offered. Agree sometimes it is not worth it but we always check before purchasing.

We hung out with him for quiet a while. One of the nicest people we have ever met and learned so much from him. Cannot thank him enough
