Man, those kids may not realize how lucky they are to have such a coach. The care and attention, all the details from a lifetime of knowledge, building up skills from the very basics. So cool to watch.

Wow, this is a great exercise, it is like jumping lunges but for one calf/ankle/foot at a time. This is great as someone new to boxing these are invaluable, thank you for giving us your time.

a helpful tip for this would as follows: You are not jumping onto the bench, you are jumping in place. The majority of your weight should not be over the bench, only your resting leg should be over the bench. Lastly, the ground is lava so you need to get your foot off of it as fast as possible

I used to hold dumbbells with my both hands and jump like i'm doing jumping rope, it really helped my calves endurances and pendulum steps. also running is very important for leg endurances. try both methods for the great results. thanks for the video, coach

This actually is a bit advanced exercise, too early to do so. If you want very strong ankles and calves, for strength and endurance, you first need to do isometric exercises on the calves and ankles. Just flex them at maximum for several seconds, do that in a few sets a day. Next is to do those Kung Fu stances, but raise your heels up, and instead of flexing at max just flex when necessary to maintain that lift, and hold until your calves start burning.
Most important is recover. Always massage and stretch those calves as this will reduce damage onset muscle soreness on calves, making you train more frequently. Do that and after some time you'll develop very strong and endurance in calves and ankles, THEN you can do those dynamic exercises. Doing those explosive dynamic exercises with WEAK AF calves and ankles is asking for an Achilles tendon rupture. It's irresponsible to be dynamic too early when you should static train FIRST!!!
