We designed and Built a 500sqf ADU with a 200sqf ADU. The ADU was designed to be 1 bed 1 bathroom with an exterior area. This project is in a methane zone so raised the foundation of the ADU and kept the grade of the garage.

Check out this detached ADU, garage conversion with a one car garage, with large private backyard Mid City Los Angeles. The Original Gargae was 300 sqf and now we have 200sqf garage and 500sqf ADU. When considering building an ADU or JADU, it is important to consider who will occupy the accessory dwelling unit.

Dude that a sick ADU! Did methane did require anything for electrical?
We couldn’t trench the slab of the garage. But we ran underground electrical conduits no issue
