To change modes, hold down the select+start buttons of the 1P controller for about 5 seconds, and then:
Press up to switch the color palette (Fceux, NTSC, PC10, and YUV).
Press the down key to toggle scanlines between 25%, 50%, and 75%.
Press the right key to switch between proportional zoom and full screen
Press the left key to upgrade the firmware
Press B to view the firmware version - Ігри
If I hadn’t just picked up an AV Famicom and RGB Blaster for my composite upscaling project, I might have been interested in this. Still, glad you’re running these kinds of tests.
Always love to have more options to play old games.

Audio mixing seems based on the AV Famicom perhaps, given the VC6 audio levels in Castlevania 3?
I just purchased a Famicom and I plan to put a NESRGB in it. I also plan to do the controller port mod so that all games will work with the expansion port for controller inputs. If this was a bit better and I knew about this sooner I may have purchased this. However, I don't really need/want HDMI out. I would rather put all my consoles through the RetroTink 5X. The only console that does not go through my RetroTink is my PS3.

I was just looking to buy an NES recently, was looking at getting an AV Famicom with an RGB blaster vs getting the retroUSB AVS. I instead got a 3DO but I might get this since it comes with both HDMI that I can use for streaming and RGB for my analogue TV. I just am wonder what is the best bang for the buck on which everdrive to get

What is going on with the loss of color with Micro Machines at 53:28? Does that happen with the analog output sent directly to a display or is that an issue with the scaler?

Is it really FPGA based ?
Does it still work if you remove the chips on the motherboard ?
The FPGA is only generating the HDMI and RGB output signals - Without either original chip, it won't run. This is essentially like original hardware with a NESRGB and Hi-Def NES installed.

This thing is pretty neat just wish it was using a more powerful fpga.
