Excellent choice for a movie review. I LOVE creature features. These are mere suggestions. Death Machine (1994) Necronomicon: Book of Dead (1993) Dagon (2001) Keep up the grind dude, I'll recommend you (2024)
@@CountofMontiCHRIS Just suggestions. I've loved all of your reviews so far. You just keep what you're doing. Oh yeah, I'm not gonna recommend anything that didn't have a kick-arse VHS box in the video shop!
I actually like this movie, too! I was surprised to find that it was a critical and box office bomb. The practical effects were on point! Apparently Jaime Lee Curtis considers this a stain on her filmography. This was definitely better than "Halloween: H20", so I think she's ashamed of the wrong movie.
I learned about this movie from an interview to the special effects crew. The way I understood, every exterior shot without actors is actually a miniature. Even the ones where no much happens and it's just the ships floating. If I didn't know in advanced I'd never have known
These cyborg creatures gave me flashbacks to robotic abominations from "Shane Aucker's 9(2009)" Also fun fact:this movie was based on comic of same name by Chuck Pharrer from dark horse
I haven't noticed any audio issues..... Except trying to figure out the origin of your accent. I'm just curious, I'm a Bostonian myself, I know what I sound like, I'm not picking on your accent. I'm just curious. Phenomenal video as always.
This movie and the movie about the giant octopus type monster that could bite with its tentacles was my first taste of horror as a kid. I forgot they even existed till this video. Im gonna go rewatch them now.
That one guy that played the exact same character in both this movie and deep rising lol i liked both movies. Watch em back to back n it’s almost the same movie. I just remembered that the virus may still be alive since they never check on the astronauts.
One of those movies that cost nearly a hundred million and is full of VFX and stunts and explosions and action and a solid cast, but somehow also feels like it was made for $300,000 in some dude's garage. When you try to guess when it was made your brain sort of cranks. It simultaneously feels like it must have been made at least ten years earlier before any of the cast was well known, but also it must have been made at least ten years later when the VFX were way cheaper, somehow making it a perfect artifact of exactly the moment that it seems like it can't be from.
This is one of my classics. I've played it 3 times in a row while staring blankly at it. Same with Sphere with Samuel L Jackson, and The Thing. Speaking of deep water, The Abyss is absolute trash.
This is what short circit 3 Johnny 5 takes a cruise, would have been a bad idea Also would love to see you review Deep Rising, and the fact? it was a prequel to an unmade king kong movie You work on a boat and can't swim? You would be surprised the number of people in the navy who could not swim in boot camp
This late 90s sci fi movie is a classic and childhood memories for me. The 90s was a great time

Death Machine rings a bell. I can vaguely remember the old VHS box for it. Gonna have to look it up...

Another fun review of another awesome underappreciated movie. Thanks!
I remember seeing this movie once, and enjoying how disturbingly whacky it is. Did not remember the name, thank you for this lol.
This is my new favorite channel!
I found him last month due to his lake placid vids, he is a lot of fun
Thanks very much! :D

I'm from the Lake District, which is about as North West as you can get in the UK without being in Scotland, haha.
Omg I almost forgot about this. I had it on vhs tape it was one of my favorites lol

Maximum Overdrive is loads of fun with an amazing soundtrack 😊
Been ages since I've seen Maximum Overdrive, but I remember it being hilarious!
Huh, this has quite the odd mid/late-2000's internet energy.
I like it. Feels nostalgic.
You sir are funny as fook. My new favourite tuber
Thanks! I really appreciate it :D

Definitely an underrated movie...Virus is basically the original Terminator being a full blooded scifi horror movie
Saw this in the theater as a kid 🎉
"Bald Willy"...😂
Baldwin joke was brilliant

Great movie, and even stayed reasonably close to the comic book source material…
The cast hate it. The critics hate it. The audiences hate it. The director's gran hates it.
I bloody-love it. I must be Mental.
I saw my mum watching this the other month it looked interesting
So that’s what the singularity from DBD was based on

@@CountofMontiCHRIS Hoorayh!

MAN THAT BIG ROBOT LOOKS TO MUCH LIKE FROM HARDWARE
We are the Borg, You will be assimilated, Resistance is futile.
Maybe where they got the idea ???
Sex workers catching strays haha diabolical work
13:03 he saids English or Spanish whoever will moves first is gay 😂😂

Lame alien plot, ripping off the Borg from star Trek, muddy script, below average sfx for the time...... I love this movie.
*Dylan Arnold handshake*
What the hell bruh if virus watch this video he can killed him self 😂😂
This is an ok movie. It does have one of the worst looking model boats I've ever seen
Comment AF!
You too much of th plot
Its not your channel buddy
Omg this film looks awful 🤣
