Thanks for the information. Changed my plugs today and ran into this on #1. The car wouldn’t start anymore. The plugs were in really bad shape. Burned up. I checked the gap by on one and it was .085 and more. Sounds like I’d better get some C new gaskets and wires too. I’m charging the battery now. Hopefully it will start after this.
2006 PT GT 2.4T 5SPD. 64,000 miles. Oil on spark plugs. (In combustion chamber) Nothing on the boots. Could it be a valve cover? Upper and lower intake gaskets replaced. PCV replaced. Turbo replaced. (Was bad) Compression on all cylinder is 152-155psi.
Since idk how to do the compression thing yet would you recommend trying this before the valve seals ,I’m 80%sure it my seals tho ,I smoke after idle for about 2-5 mins but then goes away after about a mile.
I have oil on the boot of cylinder number one by the oil reservoir cap and my car won't turn over , is that why it won't start? I am 61 and I am doing this by myself . Can I do it myself???
This video sounds like there is a Nextel phone around. They were notorious for interfering in audio signals as they talked back and forth at the station.
I had oil on my spark plugs, but since I had the valve cover gaskets replaced no more oil on plugs. Only smoked after I poured a can of seafoam into the gas tank to clean the injectors. It smoked for a week on every start up, mimicked a valve stem seal leak.
These are the 𝙤𝙣𝙡𝙮 mechanic videos I’ll watch from now on. Digging the vibe.

I keep getting oil in my #2 spark plug can you tell me how to fix it. Or do you have a video showing how to do it.

Not a bad choice at all. Those prices on that year model with the hemi engines have dropped so low now, I might have to get one..lol
I went ahead and cleaned that valve cover to make sure all is is clean and no other foreign objects that may contamite the Head.
Thank you.

@@OnlineMechanicTips the pleasure was mine 🤜🤛
Yessir , a little Rtv.
It looks like that valve cover has been removed before. Looks like silicone was added to the O rings around the plugs.
Yea I think it was once replaced long ago..But it was that time again, thanks for watching
Tell me you cleaned that after the video!
This happened to my car it's at the shop.
