As a Phineas & Ferb fan, I need to say this: BWA HA HA HA, letters to SANTA!? Yea, this is easily the lowest point of the Muppets for me, as well as my family. I think the problem is the writing and directing comes from a place of cynicism, and a lack of understanding about how to adapt the Muppets to a modern audience. The puppeteers can only carry the project so far. My recommendation for something similar is hands down The Muppet Family Christmas. While that one arguably has LESS plot and LOWER stakes than this one, it embraces that and just focuses on having characters work off of each other and vibe. That way, the funny and heartfelt moments are gently messaged in rather than cranked up to 11 and shoved down audiences throats.
Sadly a pretty mid special, I agree. A real shame, because there was some okay potential there, both for emotional and funny moments, but sadly most of them weren’t very developed (heck, Miss Piggy is surprisingly absent for half of it), and a lot of the scenes felt pointless in developing Claire’s conflict. It’s odd, because when Gonzo sang about wishing he was Santa, it almost looked like it was building up to him and his Muppet friends to try to make Claire a gift that showed their appreciation on their own; but sadly they just opted to attract Santa’s attention after one single song
I watched this two days ago, so the timing of this video is surprising. It's ultimately a lackluster special with fairly forgettable songs and messaging, but at least it's got some fun gags here and there
Hey Jambareeqi, can you please review “Five Nights at Freddy’s” for a Puppet Panic video? That movie has real animatronics!

I like to see a Puppet Panic about Pee Wee's Play House in memory of Paul Rubens.
At least it’s better than A very Merry Muppet Christmas
One of the few post Jim Henson Muppets projects I've not seen, actually, so this is quite a find.
I think I only saw a bit of it as a kid, and it was near the end of it.
As a Gonzo fan who loves his sentimental moments, I have a soft spot for this special. I Wish I Could Be Santa was certainly a nice song.
I rarely see this one even being brought up. Not a good sign for a Muppet production.
Animat didn’t even mention it on his animation lookback on the muppets
Plus, I would have talked about the celebrity cameos, since the Muppets are best known for them like Uma Thurman and Nathan Lane.
I have NEVER heard of this special before.. wow it must be horrid
Nahh I remember watching this movie and I felt so bored just 10 minutes in it 💀
Eh, at least it's better than the 2023 Game Awards...
It’s not terrible, but it’s easily the weakest of all the Muppet Christmas specials.
I’ve also seen people say that about “It’s a Very Merry Muppet Christmas Movie!”. I wonder which one is worse.
That how it is for these movies now are days
Really instead of a ranking every 2023 movie you gave us this
Didn’t you read his community post, he’s not uploading that until January
Sorry I didn’t read that on time

Ever since Disney got their hands on the Muppets, it just went down hill.
What about The Muppets (2011), Muppets Most Wanted (2014), The Muppets (2015), and Muppets Haunted Mansion (2021)?
Happy new year 🎆🎊🎈
