I would if they don't delay their flights like this occasion. Aer Lingus Regional are 100% leading the way for Northern Ireland flying trips/connections.
I flew (well was going to fly) London Heathrow to Aberdeen but after my 1st leg (British Airways Orlando to Heathrow) had a 10 HOUR LAYOVER due to ‘ lack of pilots’ we were made aware of this a week before but we were already in Orlando by then. We asked for lounge access and was told no. Not even a ‘I’m sorry I cannot do that’ just straight up NO. Then after 9HOURS in the worlds most busy airport our flight was cancelled, left us waiting for 3 hours then gave us a hotel, told us they sent a bus ( they didn’t ) waited 2 hours outside in cold London at night and then got the hotel, next day back to airport and ‘we can put you on a flight tomorrow but you will have to pay for a hotel’ Then was put on a 10 hour bus, still no compensation it’s been half a year. Hate British Airways. Don’t care about costumers the slightest. On the way to Orlando took a route with Aer Linus. Best economy experience ever.
Excellent video. We have all had days like this. What intrigues me is the way you continue to make the video even as things mount up. I think i would just despair and would certainly have gone for something stronger than coffee. Very professional ! keep up the good work!
Great video. Will you consider doing the Silja Line Ferries between Stockholm and Helsinki. You can do a very affordable 2 nights cruise. Would be a great video to do with an explore in either direction!
Yes I love BA cityflyer, the Embraers are excellent 2 and 2 same seats as club, free bar down the back really excellent food in club and substantial. I use them out of London City...my now preferred airport. Your face with that sandwich made me laugh...I hear you. The worst rip off imo was also at Edinburgh airport w/spoons..just shocking lol
That British Airways plane looks gorgeous, and the service seemed excellent. I expect you felt miffed after paying for early boarding, and then having an hours delay, but you weren't to know at the time. Stores always charge more at airports, and for food that isn't that good. Did you walk to Parkway station, and then into Southampton by train? Really enjoyed this one.
As always a good and informative video. On the Embraers nothing much against them other than I think they don’t ride turbulence quite as well as some other regional aircraft like say the CRJs
what seat number was that? if you do not mind me asking. i will be flying BA Cityflyer in feb and i the seat map on 3 sites including the BA site. none of them match the other so i am not sure if i picked the right row or not. I currently have row 17 selected.. The row your in or maybe the one in front of it are perfect if it is not 17.
It looks like you covered every square inch of Edinburgh Airport on the hunt for a perfect sandwich - and sadly ended up with the overpriced and underwhelming WH Smith's Cheese & Onion! I'd have gone for a Pret (yes, not cheap either, but better value for money, I think).
You asked what people thought of the video. I watched it to find out about the aircraft, only to find well over half the video was spent faffing about in Edinburgh airport. Not really as advertised.
@@WorldWide_Dom Because I will be flying on that aircraft with BA in a few months I was just interested to learn what it is like. In reality, there is probably not a lot more to be told when it is a short flight! As a suggestion, when a lot of the video is about an airport, maybe this could be reflected in the title. All the best.
@@charlieb2903 Thanks for your comments, I will certainly take them into account. Out of curiosity what made you got with BA over the likes of EasyJet that service the route? I went with BA because I wanted to try something different short haul but I'm very curious as to why one would choose one over the other considering the price gulf.
EDI security is a joke at 10.30am last Wed it took us 30 mins to get through and they confiscated my Wallet Hero Card Sized Metal Multi Tool said it could be used as weapon, not something that has bothered a number of Brit and Far East airports or 12 Eurostar trips in the last 4 years. Looked a nice flight.
What do you think? Would you fly BA Cityflyer?
I would if they don't delay their flights like this occasion. Aer Lingus Regional are 100% leading the way for Northern Ireland flying trips/connections.
I flew with them a couple of years ago EDI-LCY. Couldn’t fault it.

I flew ZRH-LCY last year and was honestly impressed by the extra legroom. Looking forward to flying BA Cityflyer again this year.
Only flew their e170s a long time ago. Need to fly them with the e190

Very professional ! keep up the good work!
Absolutely look forward to your Sunday vlogs. Love flying with BA, that plane looked really spacious, bright and inviting.
I like flying on Embraer jets for short domestic flights. Great video 👍
Love BA CityFlyer. Love Embraers. Love this video.
BA have densified (added more seats and shrunk legroom) these planes since this video was made. The new layout also misaligns seats with windows
Thanks for letting me know, think I’ll need to make an updated video.
Thanks for the video, Dom. EDI-SOU is one route where rail cannot compete with air.
Yes, easyJet are now on Glasgow to Southampton
Great video. Will you consider doing the Silja Line Ferries between Stockholm and Helsinki. You can do a very affordable 2 nights cruise. Would be a great video to do with an explore in either direction!

I am from the U.S. and I had to do the conversion to dollars but £3.50 sounds pretty reasonable to me considering he’s in an airport.
Great vid
Thanks, I’m glad you enjoyed it 😁

How long did this flight take?

I can’t remember exactly but I believe it was around 17a That I was in maybe 18a. Hope you have a good flight. 😁

I was on the hunt for something “cheap and cheerful” I’m begin to doubt if that exists anymore 😂
You asked what people thought of the video. I watched it to find out about the aircraft, only to find well over half the video was spent faffing about in Edinburgh airport. Not really as advertised.
Thanks for you feedback I'm always looking to improve. What kind of things were you looking for in terms of the subject of aircraft itself?

@@WorldWide_Dom I am flying BA because I was able to get an award flight from points with a partner airline.
Great review, very informative!
Thank you I’m glad you enjoyed it. 😁 if you have any requests please let me know.
See you next one 👍
So that's the way to eat a triangular sandwich! It looked like cheese and onion.

Maybe the price of the flight would have been a gripe? British Airways can be really expensive.
£3.50 for a sandwich? Jez the cost of living is worse than we thought
Don’t mind paying £3.50 for a nice sandwich…but that looked disappointing, to say the least. Loved the video….keep them coming😃
3:36 that's why you always get meal deals
The overbearing music ruined this video.
Over priced sandwich? 😅
Yes very! 😅
