A bike ahead of it's time. It still has the looks the sound and performance to actually fit right in with today's choices on the market , absolutely awesome example.
Yeah man, I got the GS750L, rides like a beast man. Actually a lil bit too much for a cruiser model, but fun bike. You get the luxury of short base cruiser together with an insane block
These early 80s Suzukis were the best and my favorite motorcycles back in the day. Very reliable. I owned two and would buy one again more than 40 years later than when I bought my first one.
I have a '78 GS750E and I love it. It is very fast when wanted, handles great and comfy on long trips. Faithfull engine and trans always deliver with little tlc.
Had the same bike in red. It was a wonderfully smooth machine. Smooth power, smooth torque, smooth suspension and ride. Great handling and very reliable. Wish I had kept it...
One badass and beautiful bike, representing the 80's, and then some. Something tells me that Terry Vance and Byron Hines would have a grin, ear to ear.
Second Time watching this video. I can't get enough of it. Lol...One headturning and sick bike. That Super Trap exhaust note, is the sound I like in a bike. Those orange rims are beautiful. They make the beautiful paint job and graphics pop . I could watch yall's videos, all day, on my android tv. Lol
that's a sweet soundin gs750 never seen or heard of one with a supertrap we a had a gs 1000 in the 80s it wos a beast it had been tricked out and sounded mean sorry to see it go stay safe guys
To think back in the day there where members popping wheelies with these heavy machines. I bet Ken Kaplan could he's one of those "old-skool" riders. Respect 💯🤙🤙
I'd never seen one of those, it resembles an 82 cb750f super sport my friend owned. It would raise the front tire an inch or two while smoking the rear and leave your hands shaking a good 10 minutes after riding. I'm looking at a gs750e in extremely nice condition which is what led me here. I appreciate your input knowledge on all the bikes you deal with
Hello, Did you buy it? Where'd you find it? Do you like it???
Just s sweet motor bike hands down.🇱🇷👍
wish mine was as good as this one! im upgrading mine step by step, paycheck by paycheck. hoping mine will be as good as this one in 3 or so years. love this bike.
mine doest have adjustable carbs so i dont need tools for that >:D
Great bike! My second new street bike was an 81 GS750E, red - square headlight. 100% excellent. Never did a header, sounds much better with it. 👍🏽
Brother has one. Really nice bike. Having the carbs rebuilt and synced as I type.
I had one when I actually had two of them damn good bikes the last forever you ride the hell out of them. Mine had a Yoshimura pipe sounded Wicked
Much respect to your family and crew.
Must respect your family and crew. Been watching for a few years. Stay safe . Keep up the good work. . Keep the shiny side up and the rubber on the road
Jr. you got a hard act to follow.Man Ken another bike saved 👍🏻🇺🇸✌️
Man this bike sounds awesome!sheer power for sure!
Hell it’s 5 past 3 in morning in Uk, and here I am reaching for my phone to check out more of your fascinating, entertaining videos 😊
I’m almost as bike crazy as you.
Except your knowledge and enthusiasm is unsurpassable.
I really must get some sleep tho 👍
Thank you Carl!! You made my day its 10:11 pm I'm on the infield of the Daytona speedway sitting in my truck uploading awesome videos of today's events! Stay tuned brother!
The GS series had a distinctive humming sound ... my dad had 79 GS 550, great bike but couldn't resist the XS11 and went back to Yamaha.
Amazing exhaust sound!
THAT ONE! THATS THE BIKE THAT CHANGED MOTORCYCLING FOR ME! FIRST I4 I CANT FIND ANY
This is the one I've been waiting to see let it rip.
Beautiful bike, sounds amazing!
Sweet 'Zuki! Another plus, the stock CV carbs have been replaced with cable/slide carbs.
I think they are 29mm smoothbores.
I remember a guy named John having one of those. He was helping my father put clad boards on our family home. His was blue and I kept staring at it. I remember the moulded tail light section and dash. I wanted one so bad. I remember his having square headlight.
Fucking bad ass boys. GS, KZ, and CB all sweet bikes
I love those gs , have 1980 1100 e model silver , and a dark blue 1983 , and when i was a teenager also just to have a gs 750 e 1983 ( funky style) 😅 it was fast too , but i felt that it was harder to get the engine running fast , have to rev it higher , something changed in 1983 , but 82 is a better looking after 40 years
Love it
1983 is the one to have.
Hi! Gud bike! У нас в России любят ретро байки Old bike good!
Awesome bike. 🤙😎
Good stuff
I think I have an 80 or 81 are there any other wheels from any other bike I can swap on? Forks & wheel
Set up from a newer style bike ?
Very very nice.
Nice older bike
what exhaust is that? it sounds amazing!
Do they make any motorcycles that are shaft driven?back when I was 17 Yamaha built a few but don't see them much since 🤔🤔
Yeah any of the GS models with G suffix will be shaft driven. I have an 1982 GS 1100G, love it.
Fantastic bike....I've got a 81 gsx750 square headlight not sure wot its worth
Love it did wheels come painted from Suzuki? Do you have any Honda hurricanes
It sounds like they painted them, they look great though
is it me or do the old bikes have a sound to there own
what headers and muffler do you have on that? i love that sound!
Supertrapp
@@KaplanCycles nice. thanks man. ima get those for mine, ive got the same exact bike but a little more stock
My GS 750 is smoking from the heads. Probably has worn out piston rings.
Fast ⏩😎🆒💯
I don't y understand you did all that work on it why didn't you go ahead and fix the speedometer cable and the fuel gauge.
We probably will we just wanted to get it up it's taking awhile to get parts
beats the hell out of a sportster
How cheap to run are these things? Seems just a little too old to be a reliable daily driver.
40 mpg easy, and more reliable than a timex watch.
Harris race can would sound better
$1678
👏👏👏👏👌👌🤘🤘💀💀👄👄👅👅
No sound like them old suzuki inline4
Motors are electric, engines are combustion.. lol
