- A few days ago, I had some brand new interns ask some questions on Instagram that maybe they didn't want to ask their co-residents, nurses, attendings, whomever, and that'd they'd feel more comfortable asking a stranger on the internet (lol, but totally a thing!)

"Control what you can control". I love this! I'm currently taking the MCAT end of the month and applying to med school this year, so I'm really far from where you are career wise, but you saying this resonated with me so much! Guess I won't be binging too much despite all the stress. Thanks, Dr. Mike!! (Hope you let your interns call you Dr. Mike, sounds a bit more personal)

Dr. Herring, how do you keep your mental health in check? I found myself over-conscious and overthink of what I say or do and how it would offend or annoy someone because there are times I find myself learning things a little slower and bound to make mistakes leaving a bad impression. Not to mention imposter syndrome.
I’m going to make a new video on exclusively this once my office is painted. Hopefully it can be up the weekend or early next week. There’s a lot to unpack, but to hold you over, I don’t want you to worry about a thing.
