I can't believe we used the same joke to introduce the challenge XD Thanks for collabing with me again! This challenge was no joke, thank you so much for keeping everything on track
I know!! As soon as I pressed play on your video I started laughing. We were very much on a similar wavelength for much of this project. And Hugo is welcome to come hang out with the dragon gang any time lol.
I was JUST about to start singing "Secret Tunnel!" 😆 This work is amazing and you really should be proud of it! I discovered Complicated Knots last week and had to see your 100 piece challenge after seeing Kylie's and they are both amazing!
Thanks so much!! ....and I'm sorry if I got Secret Tunnel stuck in your head lol but I'm glad I'm not the only one whose brain goes there when it hears those words.
Thank you for being the driving force behind these collabs with ComplicatedKnots! They’re the reason I found your channel and I love seeing what you both come up with.
Wow! Absolutely stunning. I've only been watching you for a while but you have incredible talent and eye for such tiny details. I love what you made, inspiring me to maybe make one myself!
Thanks!! I would 100% encourage everyone to give it go if they're able. Not only was it a tonne of fun (mostly lol) but also a good way to use up any miscellaneous crafting supplies and scrap yarn.
I've really enjoyed seeing how you both approached this challenge. You both made such beautiful and amazing pieces. I love your use of non-crocheted pieces in this a lot and that tree is so whimsical and magical.
You definitely both did the thing!! I love seeing your collaborations with each other. They are AMAZING, I’m in awe of how skilled and creative you both are.
After watching what @ComplicatedKnots made, I wanted to see what you made. I just love the idea you came up with! And using the cake stand as a base was super creative! I look forward to seeing more of your ideas!💜
Hello! Your tree in this project is remarkably similar to Japanese Wisteria in bloom! It is spectacular... I am loving that you are both creating a story and a sculpture with nothing but some yarn and needles! That is incredible in itself!
Leigh, that's absolutely awesome! Love the secret world underneath and the willow tree in particular, but the whole thing came together so well. Really creative work, you should be proud of this! Right, off to look at Kylie's now....🐉🐉🥚🥚🥚
the seccond you said secret tunnel i imeadiatly thought of the song and when it popped up on the screen i was laughing so much. i love the tree you made!!! and the way you used small pieces of crochet on the waterfall was so creative!
Yep! You, gals are so talented, I'm in awe. You SHOULD be proud of what you created because it's. . . .just. . . magical. I think Hugo the Bag worm would love to hang out with Ms. Dragon, as long as she wouldn't eat him. Thank you for sharing your patterns and videos with us. You Rock. . . and crochet.🥰
i use crochet as a way to help with my chronic pain disorder i found your channel by chance but you inspire me each day to continue to do what i love regardless.
What an amazing landscape! You really spent a lot of time on the crafting, and the results are beautiful. I love your fantasy touches, too. Dragons and treasure and dragon eggs were lovely additions. I salute both of you for the ambitious challenge you took on and the wonderfully delightful results.
You both have such an entirely different way of thinking, yet you both come up with surprisingly similar type themes. I could picture her creature (in miniature form) living inside your habitat. They just work so well together, just like the two of you ❤❤❤
I would like to add a possibility to your non yarn or specialty material. Plarn. Yarn made of plastic bags. The possibilities are amazing. And where you need a much lighter material.... like leaves, you will find that plarn is a made to order answer. It can be made of thick or thin plastic bags (like produce bags or newspaper covers) cut from 1/4" wide with a C hook, to 4" wide using a H, J, or K hook. and made into everything from thick support pieces to very light features.(think willow branches and leaves, or feathery touches). Thin "thread" crochets into a fine fabric feel for clothes, or ironed to make walls, armor and stiffer features, but very lightweight. Think scales on a creature or wings without support or only light support. Some of the challenges you guys think up could use this unique alternate specialty material.
Word of advice, NEVER point out your mistakes, what you should have done or wanted to do in the end. When you do that everyone pictures it being better! It's amazing how it is. It's amazing.
Thank you and I respect your take but I've gotta disagree. I feel it's disingenuous to hide mistakes (at least in the context of a video like this) and I don't think being a bit disappointed that I didn't get to include certain elements/features detracts from what I did achieve. But that's just my thoughts :)
You and your friend's incredible imagination and fun impossible challenges are an ever enjoyable addiction of mine. i love your interactions and your individual videos. My 2 favorite crochet creators!
Omg also complicated knots did really well but WOW THIS IS BEAUTIFUL! Also I would like to say that avatar the last airbender is one of the best series ❤
The movie was turbo about a snail who raced. And these were amazing. You definitely have dedication. I love the willow tree. I love both of your peices.
What a multicraft extravaganza! Absolutely adore your collabs always. You bring the best out of each other. Thank you for the clear overview of the challenge. Your finished piece turned out jawdroppingly impressive! This will be an heirloom piece. P.s. I thought you made a wisteria tree! But a purple willow is an option as well ofc.
well now i wanna make a willow tree for the fairy lights i bought ages ago lol. even with the small details you left off this looks amazing, you really outdid yourself! 💖
This turned out really pretty. I was thinking you were going to stack the smaller stand on top of the bigger one. That would have also given you a cave like space to work with.. Anyways, I see it's been 6 months since you posted this.. I'll have to go look and see if you ended up doing all those final touches you were planning. Although, it looks amazing as is.
Amazing, this turned out lovely! It's cool how you also implemented other craft things :) I love the tree, but the dragons and eggs were a nice suprise!
This is wonderful!!! You did such a great job and it's so creative. I am amazed as I watch you with all your outlines and plans. I could never be that organized. Thanks for sharing this. I really enjoyed watching it all come together. Fantastic!!! ,
Fantastic creation! I would love to do something like your challenge. I have so many crafting supplies so a "mixed crafts"-creation would be really fun to make.
Cheers! I'd say go for it. Despite being difficult at times, it was an overall fun experience and definitely a great way to use up miscellaneous crafting supplies.
Wow! I've been watching your videos for a few weeks now. I think you are fun to watch, but this video! Wow! You are very talented and have a wonderful imagination. I subscribed so I don't miss anything and I need to see what your friend made.

I WONDERED WHAT WAS UP WITH ALL THE SNAIL EMOJIS. IT WAS YOU! 😂
I know!! As soon as I pressed play on your video I started laughing. We were very much on a similar wavelength for much of this project.
And Hugo is welcome to come hang out with the dragon gang any time lol.
;)
“It’s like the asscrack of dawn, I’ve got my cuppa” never related to a sentence more in my life.
I was JUST about to start singing "Secret Tunnel!" 😆

I honestly thought you were creating an underwater theme, so I was totally blown away by your dragon den....well done girl...
Thank you for being the driving force behind these collabs with ComplicatedKnots! They’re the reason I found your channel and I love seeing what you both come up with.
I love that both of you apologized for patterns you put in.
I have to disagree, I think it IS perfect!
Just found your channel today and am in absolute awe of your talent!
Wow! Absolutely stunning. I've only been watching you for a while but you have incredible talent and eye for such tiny details. I love what you made, inspiring me to maybe make one myself!

The editing is so good. The purple of the tree is so pretty. Love the dragon idea. A job well done.
Thank you. Tbh, I wasn't digging the purple leaves at first but by the end, I'm very glad I went with them.
Amazing!!!! I love that you included dragons and the lights look so pretty 🐲🐉💜
You definitely both did the thing!! I love seeing your collaborations with each other. They are AMAZING, I’m in awe of how skilled and creative you both are.
It's over the top! Wow! The willow tree is amazing. No wonder you're exhausted. Well done!
Incredibly. It took my breath away. It is a masterpiece.
Leigh, that's absolutely awesome! Love the secret world underneath and the willow tree in particular, but the whole thing came together so well. Really creative work, you should be proud of this! Right, off to look at Kylie's now....🐉🐉🥚🥚🥚
Thanks so much!
Oh my goodness, I love this so much! What an incredible diorama, I’ve never seen one made from crochet before.
I've been making sea creatures for about a year and need a seascape for them to live in. Now I want a very fancy seascape for them.
the seccond you said secret tunnel i imeadiatly thought of the song and when it popped up on the screen i was laughing so much. i love the tree you made!!! and the way you used small pieces of crochet on the waterfall was so creative!
I couldn't resist adding it when I was editing because it was the first thing that popped into my head too!
Cheers! Ms Dragon is pretty friendly. As long as Hugo doesn't try to steal her eggs, he'll be good lol.
i use crochet as a way to help with my chronic pain disorder i found your channel by chance but you inspire me each day to continue to do what i love regardless.
These are absolutely gorgeous! I love that the dragons get their own little caves
What an amazing landscape! You really spent a lot of time on the crafting, and the results are beautiful. I love your fantasy touches, too. Dragons and treasure and dragon eggs were lovely additions. I salute both of you for the ambitious challenge you took on and the wonderfully delightful results.
The cascading purple vines remind me of wisteria. Such magical plants ❤
Wisteria was my inspiration for the tree! :)
You both have such an entirely different way of thinking, yet you both come up with surprisingly similar type themes.
I could picture her creature (in miniature form) living inside your habitat. They just work so well together, just like the two of you ❤❤❤
WOW!!! That turned out awesome!!! Thank you for sharing this challenge with us and for all your hard work!

That's a really great suggestion, thank you! I've never worked with plarn before but now I'm intrigued.

Stunning! I especially loved how you finished it off with the dragons, it really pulled the scenery together!
Wowser Leigh this is totally fantastic xxx
Thanks so much! :)
Such an awesome work of art. Love the colabs with comp knots. You work well together. Thank you for your inspiring work x
Thank you! AtLa is absolutely the best and I couldn't resist sneaking that clip in.
@@SkeinSpider I love that clip though, I remember singing to it the first time I watched it! 🤣
8:04 my dad walked into my room at this part… He thought that I was watching a different type of “toy review” 💀💀💀
I love the tree 🌳🌸 you're brave for taking this on ahah
Absolutely gorgeous! I love it! What a massive project! You are very talented! :)
Coming over from @ComplicatedKnots, and this was so much fun to watch. I'll have to check out the rest of these collabs now :D
The movie was turbo about a snail who raced. And these were amazing. You definitely have dedication. I love the willow tree. I love both of your peices.
amazing! this needs more views
Blooming fantastic!
Wow! It's stunning. I love that you both used lights in your projects.
Me too! I love how we can have two totally different overall concepts but at the same time, have one specific idea that's pretty much identical lol.
well now i wanna make a willow tree for the fairy lights i bought ages ago lol. even with the small details you left off this looks amazing, you really outdid yourself! 💖
Go for it! :)
I'm gobsmacked! All that work, but what an amazing piece you've created! Bravo!!
Looking forward to when you and Kylie do the next one ❤
It's wonderful! I love the dragons.

Cheers! I haven't added the final touches yet, so many other projects to work on that I just keep forgetting. But maybe one day I'll get there.

Cheers! I honestly love these collabs too, they never fail to be a lot of fun.
It's absolutely gorgeous. All the details and the dragons, it's just ... waouh
Thanks! :)
It would be awesome to see you finish it the way you wanted to and have it in another video. This is truly amazing!!!
I just might. There's definitely enough that I wanted to add or change to create an entirely separate video.
Amazing, this turned out lovely! It's cool how you also implemented other craft things :) I love the tree, but the dragons and eggs were a nice suprise!
Watching your creative process was fun as always! And I think the final product was well worth the time and effort. Beautiful work.
Very beautiful project and you both think outside the box with design.
Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful creations

Ho from Ky's chanel!
It's so BEAUTIFUL! I'm absolutely in love with this piece! You both did a fantastic job ❤❤❤
Not my fist video from your channel but it is the first time I noticed the peg board which is both completely distracting me and inspiring me 😅😅😅😅
Lol, this one was from ikea if that's of any interest to you.....
@@SkeinSpider Thanks so much for the information. Im lacking on storage for my yard so going vertical that way is very practical
Wow the result is so stunning! 😍💜
Thank you! 😊
I just watched her video time to enjoy yours ❤ thank you so much for taking the time to do these. You guys have amazing creativity!
Giving me Mother Willow Vibes from Pocahontas, it's blaming brilliant 👏 ✨️
I didn't make that connection but now I can totally see it. Maybe I should add a face lol
Woah! The finished piece is gorgeous 😲
I thought the first piece was...a very naughty dragon's product. I need a nap 😂
Oh my gosh this is amazing!
I absolutely love this. You are so talented.
