The spray bottles are a genuine godsend for curly hairs! I’ve gone through several not very good ones lol, I’ll have to try this one out (for the plants though😂) Dollar stores are great places for random planty things or regular things you can make planty! Instead of your Amazon squeeze bottles I have the mustard/ketchup bottles for like bbqs and such from dollar tree I use for small/delicate plant watering. I’ve made a couple mini windowsill shelves for baby plants and props from dollar store craft items - wooden craft squares and dowels for instance. Mod podge printed pics on top and boom - shelf Soooo many plastic bins from there for storage lol. They also have the shower/cleaning stuff caddy at dollar tree for exactly $1 (maybe a lil smaller than yours though) I’ve also gotten soooo many cute NICE non plastic pots at the 99 cents only store (Sorry non US plant friends, these stores may not apply to y’all)
Life is so much easier when you are organized. I have my reg soil and cacti mix in 5 gallon buckets, I have my orchid mixes, pon and leca in the small ones like you. Great idea to use them after sterilizing too! Gonna need more! Need that sprayer too!!!
Rona had boot mats on sale at the end of winter (about 1' x 2') and they're the plastic type with a lip and raised lines down the middle (boot drainage). It works awesome for both repotting and watering. Those metal drain mats that roll up are also awesome for thoroughly watering over the sink and are compact for storage.
I have to get some of those squeeze bottles. I just bought a pump up sprayer but I’m loving your electric one! Lot of great helpful hints in this video. Thanks!
Those squirt bottles (the second item) are actually available on Shein of all places. They're only $3 (minus all the discounts the site gives you) which I found was much cheaper than anywhere else I've seen them, and that's for the largest side you showed. Shein actually has lots of cool houseplant related items.
The only thing I don’t have is your plant mat. I’ve asked you before and you sent me a link but she’s still currently out of my budget! I also do this with my soil. I have them on my shelf. The top one is the mix I typically use but also have them separated with different mediums. And if it’s smaller bags, they’re rolled up in the bigger bin but that’s because the shelf is deep and I got rid of my smaller bins. But can you make a video on how to sterilize stuff? I had a bin of moon water with spagnam moss that I may have forgot about and I cannot bring myself to throw it away! 😂 When it made day 3 I dried it all out so it’s not moldy but I don’t feel safe using it either!! Love your videos. You’re def one of my favs!
@@wildfern you don't know how I feel you, I can't stand in an environment where I try hard to find something... I'm the type that I know when someone has moved a mm of mm of something in my stuff xD 😅
Those squirt bottles are A MUST! Especially for plants that are prone to leaf spots or for days when I'm too lazy to move my plants to the sink or tub to water, cuz if I try to use a watering can to do that then I end up with more water on my shelves than in my plant pots😂🤦
I love all of these ideas, especially the Caddy (going to Dollar General after work). I was curious on your comment about sterilizing your moss/perlite? :)
Yes! I film most of my videos on a Sony ZV-1 and vlog on both a Canon G7X Mark II and my iPhone 12. I love the quality of my Sony camera for my main videos, but it's not great for vlogging because I find the stabilization really poor when I'm moving around or even just holding it. It works great on a tripod though.
I have needed to get my planty stuff in order for so long. They've turned into a mountain of an eye sore in the corner of the kitchen 🙈 storing extra decorative pots is the worst lol
I make my own potting soil mix and store it in the same bin also but how do you keep it dry? I don't put any moss or coco coir into it but it still seems to get quite wet and one time I found it starting to get a bit moldy ☹
@@wildfern Okay, I will try that. I usually keep the lid off when the mix is new for a few days and cover it but then after about a week or so, moisture accumulates. Maybe I just need to air it out longer? But thanks for the suggestion!
@@zoltanv9987 you could always use a drill to create some ventilation holes near the top or through the lid and this will help prevent this as well. Be careful, safety first! ❤️
Selfishly loving how much you are uploading videos 🥰
Yassss 👏 I’m trying ☺️

Hahaha that's immediately what i thought of. Like that be perfect in the salon
@@knitwitchpgh same!
the water bottles at 3:40 are very great for spraying pests off of plants too!
Yes please! A video on what you use and why in your plant caddy 😊
Totally off topic, but loving that shirt! Thanks for sharing with us.😀

Just say YES to boot mats! I use them on shelves or the floor to prevent plant dribble from causing damage.
I have to get some of those squeeze bottles.

Is Canadian Tire like Home Depot or Target in the US? I keep hearing about them from other youtubers, but no one seems to get tires there 😅
Canadian Tire is a mashup of an auto shop, hardware store and a homeware store. They pretty much sell everything, except groceries.
can do a video covering up both hands tattoos?
Hi, just ordered the sprayer via your link! Can you tell me how you sterilize your sphagnum moss? Great video as always!
Awesome, you'll love it! I just boil it for a few minutes and then let it dry in a strainer! Then add it to the bin.
Is it necessary to sterilize perlite and sphagnum moss?
do you know a lot about shipping plants? can you do a video about that if you do pls? love ur videos :)
I have never shipped plants before, sorry!!
Hi I’m new here nice to meet you.
How do you sterilize sphagnum moss??
Just boil it! I boil for a few minutes, put it in a strainer and let it dry out, and then store it in those bins.
How do you go about reusing and sterilizing perlite?
