Pasta with Ragu

  • Tagliatelle with ragu.
    Ingridient list
    Beef chuck, 900 g / 2 pounds
    Salt and freshly ground black pepper, generous amount
    1 onion
    2 carrots
    2 selleri stalks
    10-12 garlic cloves
    1,5 ts tomato paste
    2 ts oregano
    1,5 ts thyme
    pinch of chili flakes, optionally
    Red wine, 2,3 dl / a cup
    2 chicken bullion cubes
    2 cans of tomatoes + fill half the cans with water and ad to the sauce
    Serve on pasta with a generous amount of parmesan cheese.
    This ragu is also great with rice, mashed potatoes or polenta.
