These guys...patience of a saint...most won’t understand exactly how tedious this work is. Looks like the fit/finish from the manufacturer of the aux equipment is excellent and that’s a huge help.

from what i thought ....... per whelen they do not recommend replacing any factory dot lights with any of there lights as they are not dot approved "the reverse lights"

Its nice now with the carbide system tied into the OBD2 you dont have to add extra lights just for reverse. Every lighthead on the year can be used as a reverse light. We typically use M4’s and 7’s but not every department wants to spend the money on that.

where i live the lights are on the same place as here but we have them on the nerf bars,interior windsheild
We got one of these as a K-9 unit for the Johnson county sheriffs office in Johnson county Illinois +sirennet only the ions are two in the grill and two are on the side of the push bar all aiming forward. And it's a slick top with light bars in the inside.
They really dont seem like they like being filmed all the time.

Lol love the videos but these dudes seem super not interested lol they do great work thoigh and I love watching these builds. Just watched the Dodge Charger 2.5 day build and that was great!
They stay focused on the installation and tasks at hand. Being attentive to the vehicle verse the cameras keeps distractions from happening.

Why do people insist on mixing colors on lightbars? It makes it look purple at night. Also, tone it down a smidge, that front end is just ridiculously overlit.
Totally agree with the lights. It would definitely confuse drivers if there was a police car or Christmas tree behind them. For me, the perfect amount of lights on the front would be a lightbar, wig wags, grille LEDs, and maybe 1 or 2 extra LEDs . anything more would look ridiculous
+reghanlee this is exactly why I think California's CHP has the best lighting setup. Not over the top flashing and it gets the job done
I think CHP could utilize more rear lighting, but they have the patterns nailed right down.
no matter how lit it is the deer in the headlights(aka the general stupidity driving) still don't get it and move over and always claim i didn't see them.
I'm not sure if its just me, but does the side wrap on the push bar look droopy/slanted?

EverythingUPLD The Fender Wraps are level :) The curving of the front bumper against the wraps creates the illusion :)

Front bumper of inner foam whish is a fabricated part was forgotten to be placed:) it was on the ground under table ( time 15.04 sec)

Wouldn't it have been easier to just go with the Setina Pushbar that has the LED's installed in the top bar? Seems cutting the grille could have been avoided which would help with resale value of it at the end of it's patrol cycle.
The feniex cannon haw ice fine that with my vechile about 6 months ago, much better than the factory bulb, & next week I'll be replacing my factory blinker bulbs with the feniex in the 12 solid color.
The soundoff nforce always look great, the ones on the front push bumper I like the idea of the angled light.

Great videos! The audio from the cameraman (when he is asking questions or making comments) is extremely low. Can the cameraman speak more loudly or wear a mic?

Why doesn't the white function of the dual color reverse Cannons come on with the flasher? Does the blue "warning" function override the reverse light function? What happens if the vehicle was put into reverse gear, and the warning lights are on?
Blaine Bugaski The Cannon's can be programmed so that only one of the two colors flashes. It offers three different Modes. For this application, Mode 1 is set to only Blue Flashing. Mode 2 has only the White diodes being used and it has been set to Steady-mode. When the Tahoe is put into reverse with the Warning Lights on, the White will come on- over riding the Blue flashing. When it is shifted out of reverse, the Cannon's will go back to Blue.

Exactly, the purpose of emergency lighting is to request the right of way and alert drivers to your vehicle. It can be done with smart placement of lights, colors, and patterns. Having too many lights causes drivers to become blinded and disoriented, especially at night.
T484 they should look at the U.K. they do it perfectly with the use of a proper livery on its police cars. You can’t miss one in your rear view mirror

Correct me if I'm wrong but don't the manufactures say not to use circuit breakers? Also any information about wiring flashing white lights to turn off when the vehicle is in park or neutral?
David Belleperche We do offer a Module from Whelen called a Park-Kill. You can wire Equipment in-line with it and use it to disable Lighting and/or Siren Tones when the Vehicle goes into Park. sirennet.com/whwpkm1.html

How are these power distribution blocks wired? Im a news reporter and I have similar equipment such as lights antennas power outlets a laptop and scanners and i need to do a proper power distribution center but am kinda wonky about how they work and how theyre wired

Probably not necessary but it would be cool to see what the agencies are programming various buttons and slider switch 1-3 for. Give others ideas on how to program their lights for certain buttons associated with various functions like traffic stop, code run, DUI stop, on scene etc.

Now I've noticed that the seats get torn up because of the pistols our officers are carrying I only noticed this because my family member is a officer is there a way to prevent this?
Some Departments here and there will add an extra layer of fabric/vinyl onto the seats to help minimize where equipment rubs.

+chirag somaraj somaraj They are great products. They all fit great and include Mounting hardware for the specific Vehicle. They carry a Manufacturer Warranty and use very strong and appropriate Steel and Aluminum.
Do you have to buy 2 soundoff modules if you want both headlight and taillight wig wags, or can you just buy one module for both?
If it's a PPV Tahoe the one flasher, part number ETHTAH0-07, can active both. Otherwise you'll need to use two separate flashers; they're designed specific for use with the headlights independent from the tail lights.

Paul Atherton The Department wanted to Tahoe to be both loud & easily seen when responding. It can see some really dense traffic and the Grill Lighting helps to get folks out of the way.
yea but at night you're going to have a large purple blur arent you? to me i would have done solid colors on the ions or get rid of them altogether, and sync four n force inclusing the two already there to more X type pattern

why don't they just disable the door handles, window stitches an locks instead of putting a metal panel on the back doors?
The replacement panel offers more room inside the compartment. It makes it safer for the K9 to exit as in rids the door of any obstructions.
That Whelen siren is the worst. Hearing that Wail is annoying. Why not use Soundoff instead?

With a few right Vehicle specific Parts, a 99 Tahoe could be made up very similar. As far as an Installation on a 99 Tahoe and a Presentation.... We only see new SUV's come in for build-up.
