    I currently own my very own Blackwidow 2014 TE Stealth Edition! It's an amazing product! I love the tactility of the orange switches and it's very fun to use! I had previously installed the program used to make the keyboard work! I had set a few macros and now it's awesome! Much respect to Razer and I highly recommend the very first version to people due to it being at a good price now!

    The old school Blackwidow TE does have something special about it... It's not at all the best keyboard, objectively it's even kinda meh when it comes to build quality and switches, but there is just something special that makes this keyboard amazing to use !

    Wow,this is my first mechanical keboard too with razer orange switch! I really do like they came with travel bag even they attract dust. I love the lttile details with how the caps lock light up. Use it 2014-2016,then got myself blackwidow TE Chroma edition with razer green switch use it until 2020 then got myself tecware phantom rgb, swap the switch to outemu panda. Now i'm looking on tecware phantom elite for the wireless experience 😂

    Sorry to hear about your "inspiration" situation, but it's great to know that the UA-cam Channel is growing :) I just started getting into keyboards while in quarantine. I've always loved them, but I always thought they were too expensive for me. Now that I've grown up a bit, I'm loving learning about all this new stuff and doing so much window shopping haha!

      @@SwitchandClickOfficial Unfortunately true!!! I've dropped more than I thought I would on my new keyboard, plus switches! I'm not even going to look at keycaps yet, I'll be too tempted. But hey, I guess they can see the value in your work if it's worth taking "inspiration" from. Shitty things will happen on your way to success, so just keep chugging along. Thanks for the work you put into your content :)

    My first mechanical keyboard was this one! After years on hiatus, i'm planning on getting a mech back and your channel has been helping so much. About binged every one of your videos today :)
    I have a question though, which would you recommend:
    IKBC CD87
    Akko 3087
    Ducky One 2 TKL
    Leopold FC750R
    I find that IKBC based on your review is a great bang for your buck. but I feel that spending a bit more on higher end would suffice as I prefer build quality and longevity overall, not that I throw my peripherals around but just worried about the quality of some of these products over time. Didn't have the best experience with Razer :(
    And also, are cherry MX brown switches acceptable for typing? I'm from Malaysia so there aren't many options around here :)
    Would love to here your thoughts. Keep up with this channel! Almost at 1K!

    This week, I'm grateful for Heilung (Experimental-Folk group) and rediscovering my roots/origin in life, or at least centered on that thought. Funny, I just switched from a Razer Deathstalker w/green backlight and is a membrane keyboard, to my First Mech, w/cherry mx blue switches. I'll never go back to membrane! My first mechanical keyboard as well. Got it in 2015 for around the same price. Just a few weeks ago I moved on from it and am now looking to sell it. It was a good servant that's for sure, but a very annoying problem occurred where a few keys would keep typing themselves. For example I'd press "a" and it would input "aa" or "aaa". This made it very annoying for everyday use, like writing, chatting or TYPING PASSWORDS 😂 For gaming it was always solid even with this problem.

    • @LeKingCarnage
      @LeKingCarnage 3 роки тому +1

      @@AlconFadul Do a lot of research about soldering beforehand. UA-cam tutorials on keyboard soldering are also your best friend. It was easy for me because I was confident I can do it. If you are just swapping a couple of switches then just take your time. If you are planning to do what I did replacing all the switches then you really need to have patience since it takes a lot of time and stuff can go wrong if you don't pay attention. If you follow the tutorials right then it won't be too hard to do.

    I have the same one. I loved it , still have it. I use it on another system. Does this keyboard have adjustable polling rate?? LOL its been so long i dont remember. I think the r was deliberate. A marker . Like little things they put into movies in the background. Like say a gnome or what not. I bet it was deliberate. Newer "everything" has more tech but they do NOT make things like they use to. Durable..cost...look at cars. Again, i use it still as a secondary (i also have an original diamond and copper back mice from razer.. talk about going back in time. (got mine at microcenter as well)

    Hi, have the exact same keyboard since 2015 and need to upgrade! Since WFH and using this keyboard daily, the noise and typing pressure has started to drive me crazy. Can you recommend any quiet/silent membrane/mechanical keyboards please? I'm prioritising noise instead of response/feel. Equally, the 2014 Blackwidow TE has held up incredibly well with only the WSAD keys slightly fading, but not a fan of the smooth keys.
