When I was younger I'd go to the entralink just for the music Like most people I used it one and never had the opportunity to use it a second time. But really gen 5 has to be one of my favorites. It's the game me and my cousin spent the most time on and it brings back memories of playing, trading Pokemon, and battling. I remember watching the commercials for it and seeing resheram and just thinking, I need that white dragon. And that's how I pick what version I get. The legendary. But my cousin had black so we tried to fill the pokedex And got like maybe 40-60% of it
I remember when I first got White, I just walked into a game store, saw the game on the shelf, and convinced my dad to buy it for me, since Zekrom was a pokemon that I thought was super cool. That ended up really sparking my love for the series.
For some reason, some wild reason, seeing you here in this comment section really makes me nostalgic. Right now I’m 16, but when I was around 8 or 9, I would always see your comments on pokémon videos. hope you’re doing well
This should have been Victory Road. First there's that epic part, then it's sad. Like you're triumphant you got 8 badges and your headed towards the Elite 4, but you're sad because your long journey is ending. :D
Nah you have a good point but the actual Victory road theme is better because of the way it starts off small at the first badge gate and fixes and improves itself by making itself feel more grandiose and epic by slowly but surely adding more and more instruments, ultimately climaxing at the main part of the theme we hear in the actual main mountain mountain section of the area, which is a good piece by itself. Additionally, this theme, despite its merits and how well it fits with the idea of a Victory road, it also a bit too many chill sections for too long for my liking and is a bit too short and repititive and would probably annoy the player to death when hearing it for so long. Also I know this comment was made almost a decade ago but I still wanted to rebuttle it anyway.
The Entralink is based on the Tokyo Imperial Palace, and the Entralink looks destroyed because the Imperial Palace was destroyed in World War II. The Entralink is also placed where Central Park would be in the region.
I went to the imperial palace like 5 years ago. Didn't look destroyed to me. But who cares now. You probably are a totally different person than you were 11 years ago. Maybe you grew up now, maybe you saw the palace for yourself or maybe you have a family to protect, maybe you went through lightning and storm just to end up here again, eleven years later to find the old self you had long forgotten. The threads of life often lead to unexpected happenings.
The other day I was listening to this song, and I was supposed to go downstairs and do something. Since I was so empowered by the song, I jumped up and started dramatically running down the stairs. Because of this empowerment, I accidentally punched the railing so hard that my hand bounced back and hit me in the nose. I managed to draw blood from both. I haven't been to the Entralink since.
I played it A LOT with my best friend back then. Every time I hear this music, I think of the good times. We would play hours at a time and enjoy the feature, that was unique to this Generation: Visiting your friends World and interact with your friend.
Coming back to this track knowing few will see this comment but regardless, I will try in vain to convey the raw power this song exudes. It harkens back to a better time. A time where I felt true happiness. Happiness in the small things like this. To get home after a day of school only to fire up my copy of Pokémon black and go straight to the entralink just to entrance myself in it’s bellowing theme. I genuinely cried to this track today. And I’m not ashamed to say it. Although I yearn for a time like then, what lies yonder beckons. And I shall follow it’s call to know what it preaches. If I could bottle the emotion this song invokes in me, I’d sell it for a billion dollars.

If you have a 3DS you can actually play BW Online. You need to change something in your WiFi Connection’s DNS settings. Look it up. I think it also works on a standard DS/Lite/i. Game sync isn’t really functional, from my experience, but everything else like the Union Room and Mystery Gift works.
I used to just hoard pokemon from dream world in the entralink forest and never catch them, at least not for a long time. It was cool just to run around and see a ton of pokemon, with this theme in the background.
It's a shame that this feature was extremely underrated and only a portion of the fanbase even know it exists. (I still hear people asking about the middle of the region.)

They still have the original story where Reshiram and Zekrom were one dragon that they didn’t do anything with. Then they decided to split the games into two games (Pokémon black 2 and white 2). I think there even was a website ready for Pokémon grey but they changed plans. I bet with the success of Pokémon legends arceus they will make an incredible game revolving around the combined original dragon form of reshiram and zekrom and it will be in PLA style.
personally, i feel this shouldve been the theme to a castle or tower. it would definately make those 3 step pokemon encounters a lot less obnoxious if after them, you would here this.
