You gave me a few chuckles on your mothers videos . . . you 're probably aware that you'll learn by doing, you all have done well in that department. Looking at your rusty truck bed, brings to mind our very own Nova Scotia "Bad Chad" I've watched him for years now, even though I am a woodworker . . . he builds from nothing and does artistic vehicle transformation. Cheers look forward to the finished product.
Try and find a set of bolt on fender flares on market place or Amazon to cover up the wheel well rust and the black strip on the bottom would be good to do with rock guard.
It's lookin good. Our first Trucks are to have fun with and to learn on. I enjoyed my cheap clunkers more than I did my new trucks. I always worried about scartching and denting the new ones. Remember to always wear your seatbelt. I was a Firefighter/EMT for 30 years and even at low speeds a wreck and roll over was a mess and took alot of young peoples lives. Have fun but stay safe out there
Hey Sanders! We have the same issue's here in Wisconsin. Snow and the road salt eat away the nicest pickups. I'm wondering if it would have been more cost affective to get a better truck bed from a junk yard? Keep up the good work your doing. I'm a Ford truck man also. Keep the faith and listen to you Mom and Dad.
Sanders, looks like you are doing okay on the truck, especially for a fellas' 1st time doing it. Keep on keeping on young man,you will get there sir,Keep the Faith
You're doing a good job young man but I would have covered the cab and the windows because that overspray is pretty tough to get off. I'm enjoying your channel so far, keep up the good work!
Awesome video your truck is going to be so sweet when it's done looking forward to seeing that is your truck the 73 or is it the 60 thanks for taking me along looking forward to seeing a lot more take care God bless
The paint is rippling because you’re not allowing the gas to evaporate. I’ve done this before too and I find I have to leave it set for two days to allow the paint to gas off and that’s why you’re getting a ripple in your paint so try that.
She's coming right along, fun watching you recreate this crate!
Keep up the good work Sanders.
Awesome project 👍I remember your first lawnmower project you bought at auction 😊 Aloha from Hawaii 😎🤙🏽🌴

Thanks for the tip I ended up peeling off the rippled paint with a razor and painted over it again and it didn't ripple that time
