- Masala Paratha (Spicy Wheat Flat-Bread) is a Quick 'n Easy vegetarian Breakfast recipe. Serve it as such or with green chutney/ ketchup/ plain yogurt (dahi) and chai.

Ingredients for Masala Paratha:
For the dough:
Wheat Flour/ Atta (or Plain Flour/Maida)- 1 cup (125 g.)
Salt- ½ Tsp.
Ghee or Cooking Oil- 1 Tsp.
Warm Water- ½ cup approx.
Masala (spice mix):
½ tsp turmeric powder, 1 tsp chilli powder, 1 tsp coriander powder, 1 tsp garam masala powder, ½ tsp salt
Optional spices- ½ tsp kasuri methi (dried fenugreek leaves), ¼ tsp chaat masala powder, ¼ tsp amchur (dried mango powder), ½ tsp crushed cumin seeds (jeera), ¼ tsp. crushed fennel seeds (saunf), ¼ tsp crushed carrom seeds (ajwain)
2 tbsp softened butter or ghee or cooking oil
Ghee/Butter/Cooking Oil for frying the Paratha.
