      I was a charter boat Captain for many years and I had a stack of fishing rods for customers that I called my "Here, break these!" rods ... But based on my experience with the Dagger so far , I think your customers are going to have to work pretty hard to break the Dagger!!

      I hit 5k through mine last month. Same thing, I'm a firearms instructor and it was my training substitute for people who didn't bring one to class. I did have some parts wear out but PSA was quick to send me replacements.

    Good review. I think I’m going to pull the trigger on a Dagger in the morning. It’s a extremely affordable way to get into an optics cut pistol these days. Just to have my G17 slide milled costs $300.00 from most machine shops, being able to a complete gun cut for the RMR is huge.

      I am thinking of doing the same thing. Would like another red dot pistol that takes Glock mags and this seems like a much more cost efficient way of doing that. Think it would make a good nightstand gun.

    My carry gun is a Glock 19 and am looking to get my wife into carrying(she finally has shown interest yay!) and am going to try and get her into a glock as I have mags and holsters and whatever else available and we are currently on a tighter budget, but for her I would absolutely pay a premium. With that being said she is interested in he dagger due to it's cost and watching some reviews it seems PSA fixed the walking trigger pin issues, and we might pick one of these up.
    Thanks for the review sir.

      You're welcome!! The Dagger is one of the softest shooting guns I own , I honestly can't explain it but side by side with a G19 and the same ammo the Dagger just feels softer in recoil. I've had several people confirm this shooting both guns one after another. Maybe it's the recoil spring? Slightly different grip angle? Height of grip? I really don't know.
      I do know this, if she likes your G19 she'll LOVE the Dagger!! And when she gets it , you'll be jealous!! Lol

    I received mine for 285.00.
    It came with suppresor sights. Nice tan finish. I found the front sight to be to narrow for my liking but it will do untill I find a replacement. I smoothed out the triger simply by dry firing it a few hundred times. I test fired it for function by running several mags through it. It was dead on and functioned perfectly. Its lot of gun for not a lot of money. I have never been disappointed with any of my many purchases from PSA.

      I definitely think the trigger smoothed out even more after the first 100 rnds or so. PSA has never disappointed me either, they really hit a home run with this gun. PSA built their empire with the same business model designed around the AR15, quality parts , partial builds , complete guns and custom parts . They have now duplicated that model with the Dagger and its genius!! The Dagger isn't a budget gun for them , it's a second Flagship .

    I really didn't like the trigger at first but after a good oiling and a lot of live and dry firing it is actually pretty decent. The grip is outstanding and it shoots very well. I'm thinking about an optic as well. On reloads using small rifle primers I get an occasional light strike which happens in my other pistols as well. With pistol primers, no hiccups. Great review.

    • @Urban_Tarzan
      @Urban_Tarzan  2 роки тому +1

      Thank you very much!! The trigger really surprised me and I shoot it very well too but now I'm thinking "if I shoot this gun that good with that trigger.. how good will it be with a better trigger! ? Lol . None of my glocks shoot small rifle primers consistently , I've even had a hang fire or 2 that scared the crap of me !! The only pistol I own that shoots small rifle primers 100% is my hk p30L with the hammer. The optic for me is a game changer, I've been struggling for some time now with my "aging" eyesight and it's really depressing to not be able to shoot as well as I used to. Since I got the optic I'm like my old self again! It took a bit to get used to but now it's complete muscle memory, the dot is there every time!

      The Dagger definitely checks a lot of boxes , I have a friend that wanted to buy handguns for each of his 3 kids , he was able to pick up 3, all in different colors for $900 ! Even stock G19's would have been no less than $1500 .. that extra cash buys a lot of ammo.
      Triggers are very individual , its hard to take someone else's opinion of a trigger and I think personal experience plays a huge role. Growing up and for most of my life you shot what was given to you.. lol If I told my dad I didn't like a trigger or it was the triggers fault my groups were bad I would have taken a hand to the back of the head and told to suck it up , all guns are different , you can either shoot or you cant! I just received a threaded barrel for a replacement, my supressor hits the guide rod and its throwing accuracy way off. Without the can it hits POA out to 75yds so far. • @Urban_Tarzan
      @Urban_Tarzan  Рік тому

      I guess that's an option too. Honestly I didn't really see it as an issue to warrant complaints over , I added it in my review to let people know it's no big deal. I've never met a battery compartment I loved and I'd rather those little rubber gasgets be too fat than too thin and have the battery bounce around in there and lose connection. My buddy just got one and I told him to just use the round end of a screw driver handle and push it against the gasget a little before threading it . He said he barely had to push against it to get it to thread. He said once he got it to thread and tightened it once , it goes on off no problem every time after that. That gasget is like 1/1,000th of an inch to fat and probably better off that way.

      @@Urban_Tarzan I have put the holsters in pot of boiling water. Recently O purchased a left hand holster and reversed the belt clips then used just the steam to soften the kydex and bend the angle to right hand. Be sure to use oven mitts when handling.

      My most recent conversions were 2 smith & Wesson holsters. One converted to fit a Ruger 380 max, another to fit a Keltex P 17 and lastly the left hand Glock to right hand. The Holsters were 45.00 each with final mark downs that came out to 12.00 each. Huge savings
