Thanks for checking out the vid, I hope you found some helpful tips. Sorry for the Ads, I just tried to watch this myself and copped 3 Ad sessions in 9 minutes and I'm not even monetized. It's an absolute fking joke.
Excellent video. I'm still new to Enshrouded, but believe that knowledge is power and can make a difference between just a decent playthrough and an incredible one.
Thanks Jeff, there's plenty to the game and it doesn't hold your hand the whole way, I tried to include enough of the basics to make it much easier for newer players to get into the game and enjoy it, I'm a couple of hundred hours deep and still finding out new and easier ways of doing things. I'll be doing more tip videos on it.
Really helpful. Mining also gives xp, so does reading lore for the first time, and the lore may give direction to treasure. Been playing since demo, and didn't know that building tip; that is going to be game changing for me, thanks. Have an awesome week.
Thanks Gigi, I'm sure there's a bunch of things I left out :P, but I didn't want to ramble on for too long, even 12 minutes seemed too long. I guess you mean the graphics settings, it does save a lot stuffing around, so many of the blocks mingle together in a weird way and it's hard to tell where the missing blocks are. I hope you have a good week too :)
@@PeakTWCE yes, the graphics settings, this will save me so much frustration. I really don't think you left much out; you hit all the important stuff for someone looking to play for the first time.
The dev team for this game is top notch. That right there gets my hyped when new patches some out. I love the difficulty settings because I would rather explore and build rather than it be a hardcore fighting game with exploration. The building mechanics are amazing and I love how the blocks will slightly change when combined. My only problem is not with the game itself, but rather my own imagination. There is so much freedom in this game, but I severely lack any imagination skills.
The devs are doing a really great job with the game, they've been smashing out a lot of content since release. A good idea for building something interesting is getting some inspiration first, search the net for building styles you'd like to create and use them as a bit of a blueprint, I find the hardest part of creating is the inspiration, once you get you started, you play around and evolve the project.
Wow great video! I've got almost 400 hours into the game and i still learned something new from it! I didn't know about the hide hud option! That's a gamechanger for my screenshots!
Thanks Luna :) Glad I could help a veteran out as well, I always let the camera pan in as well for my screenshots to make the character more prominent in the shot. I'd love to see more options for camera settings, more ability to control it, maybe a screenshot mode so I can get the camera in the perfect place for the shots.
Double jump + updraft is amazing. I slept on updraft for most of the game but now that I have it I’m gliding all over the map even after they nerfed it
I didn't mention it in the vid, but the blink does a small amount of damage too, not sure if maybe hand to hand or melee stats affect it. Glad you found something useful :)
I ended up doing the same, it was little too much of a pain, I was doing heaps exploring/cheesing with the pickaxe and I was going back and forth repairing it like a dumb ass
@@jeffcullifer5629 The anvils around the map definitely help keep you going, you can always slot extra weapons as well with 2 hot bars. It's good to carry different elemental weapon types to make sure you can do crit damage to all the different enemy types.
Are you placing the door first? they have a collision box that interferes with placing or removing blocks around them. Beyond that I'm not sure what the issue could be, maybe a small block in the way, if you use the graphics settings I mention in the vid, it could help you see if there is anything in the way.
Is it normal to come out of the starting vault to pitch black night lol I’ve started a couple of chars after my first and every time I come out on my new chars it’s pitch black dark and I don’t get to see that view of the whole tower and starting area lol idk jw if this happens to be random times every time or does anyone else start the game in the middle of the night
I haven't had that myself, it's usually light. I did notice that if you change the day/night duration settings and load into the game, the time is adjusted, so if it was night when you went back to menu, it could be daytime when you load back in after changing the settings. So yeah, maybe if you've adjusted those settings, it could be the reason.

Dropping enemy health and maximizing their spawn rate is great for really fast paced arpg
That sounds like a good playstyle, I find the gameplay a little slow sometimes and lacking action
Great tips, but some of my best homes have been holes in the ground.lol :D
Cheers mate, for some reason youtube flagged your comment and held it, nothing wrong with a good hole in the ground home
@@PeakTWCE Probably saw the word "hole" and decided to hold it, damn bots! :D

@PeakTWCE they definitely need to add a camera/screenshot mode! This game would be perfect for it!

I did the same, didn't get it until much later than I should have, it helps with exploration so much
Thanks, I wasn't even aware that blink was in the game.

Thanks for the tips, super helpful.
Hopefully they help make life a little easier in Embervale, there's so much to the game to learn
Thank you! 🎉 maybe we can also have a vid for mid game tips and late game tips ❤
Glad I could help :), I'll start working on some videos for mid and late game tips 👍
I had to take weapon durability off, insnae how quick they get ruined xd
I ended up doing the same, it was little too much of a pain, I was doing heaps exploring/cheesing with the pickaxe and I was going back and forth repairing it like a dumb ass
I was tempted to do that as well, until I started finding anvils at some of the POIs. That, and I began finding weapons with higher durability.

I'm confused with building a door lol, I go to place one and it doesnt match up to the wall, it leaves a big gap.

@ I did not think about that! Thanks for pointing that out! That could have something to do with it
