GREAT TIP: If you need a source of heat to dry off or rest up, simply drop your torch on the ground by holding (E) and it will act as a heat source. Pick it up when you are done! :) GL Shrouders
Love your videos. It's easy to see that you you enjoy the game, and genuinely want to help people. Also love that you take input from your comments. Great Channel.
I don't even know what to say... Like I'm honestly stunned. Thank you so so much! You really didn't have to - but I do really appreciate it! I'm just really happy that you enjoy the content that I'm making! That means a lot to me - so you've made my week with this comment! So yeah, again thank you so much :D
Thanks for testing and reporting. I’m so used to having everything hashed out from my WoW days. Sometimes it takes time to figure aspects out but maybe that’s why I like the game much more :)
Ok the affixes might not be what they appear to be. Think of it this way. They are on weapons which make no sense to empower your armor in anyway, right? The answer is in what they do as weapon, correct? Perhaps enemies are the ones with the special type of armor in which the weapons work against….. try it out and test the numbers. Good luck 😉
Regarding the "glider to climb" tip, something you could try (if you can retrain your brain) is to bind the gilder to a different key so you can more quickly switch to it from a single jump instead of double-jump. I haven't tried this myself b/c I've been so trained with it all on the space bar, but I should really try it at some point. Maybe bind to V or F (for fly).
6:40 use these elemental damage buffs for whichever affixes correspond with your melee weapon. Also, fire damagr works good against the shrouded enemies, and shroud damage works good against virtually everything not in the shrouded areas
Agreed - that's a good point, though in general I think strength nodes (like intelligence) should be prioritized before picking more than one of the elemental nodes with a 10 % increase. The 20 % increases obviously makes picking the first 10 % elemental node early easily worth it.
That's true! Sorry, I didn't explain it very well - You throw it so you can sit down and get warmth at the same time for the rested buff. In any other scenario just holding it is fine :)
The ice or fire armor affixes are supposed to work like resistance to physical or magic, just only against that particular element, you can see your elemental resistances on your character screen, i think when you click view all stats or something like that
I think that’s how it should work too! But in all the testing I’ve done, I’ve seen no actual difference in the damage I take from cold damage when I have cold armor on my weapon etc. which makes me believe that it’s not actually working currently. Resistance from armor does seem to reduce damage taken like intended though.
The armor set is the Explorer's cosmetic set that you can craft at the bard. And I think the helm is from the Elder which is a world drop in Kindlewastes :)

1:58 Excellent!!! *Just what I wanted/ needed to know!* 😄👍
Glad you found it! Those affixes were really confusing to me too. Really feel the game needs some tooltips to explain some of these things haha.
@RascallyRasmus cool game... but "very AA" (missing a lot of "polish.").

I’m glad it was helpful! Me too actually haha. Yeah, it can definitely be fun having to figure things out yourself sometimes :)
Great tips! Thank you

That actually would make a lot of sense…😅 Thanks for the suggestion! Might be hard to test properly - but will definitely try.
@@RascallyRasmus yea keep me posted. Always good to help. 🙂

That is a really good idea too! I’m gonna try that. ‘V’ seems like a good option to me. Thanks for sharing this one too!

Even holding the torch would give you warmth. No need to throw it to the ground.

You can throw it on the ground to keep you warm while playing music!
Yes!
And sitting will give you back rested @@KingChambers

What armor are you using in this video?
