Sorry, but i feel you havent found the right doctors yet, please try one who counsels first and then gives a medicine, only if required.
I agree, finding the right doctor is hard, its like finding the most suitable fit, you will need some hit and trial but once you find them and get started with counselling things will get clearer and eventually you can fall off from medicines. Medicines arent the long term solution anyway

Hi, as it is discussed in the podcast, that there is something from where it started and Repetition of those events or related events makes us fear facing those situations and we start feeling anxious. For example I get anxious by the thought of getting late for anything, later I thought why does it matter so much for me to be on time ? May be I felt good when people appreciated me for my punctuality. Then I told myself it's good to be on time but remove this tag of good that you have attached to being on time.
Similar way we can try to decode our fears or situations when we feel anxious when we are in position to do. It would be great if you can seek help.

Small steps can change that and get the normal self back to yourself

Borderline traits or personality disorder depicts the same: fear of abandonment and the fear is so chronic that the whole body gets cold and later if people do not accept us in their groups... This gives traumas, and the person might develop social anxiety, or depression, in the worst case "brain damage"

First of all stress isn't same as depression as stress is only for short term while depression can last long infact it can last a lifetime if not sorted properly. Depression is feeling of constant hopelessness and mostly depression is out of loneliness people who say I'm depressed and hang out with bunch of friends in the clubs are just confusing stress with depression. You might explore different places when you are stressed out but when you're depressed you just do the bare minimum like going to workplace and that's it. You don't care to explore the city you live in coz you feel low on energy. When we are in our home we are not depressed maybe we lil bit stress coz of career but never ever it is depression but when we move out esp the ones with little to no friends they can't deal with loneliness at times . I never had people whom I could talk to even in school I was always on the outside, looking in but never felt depressed coz I used to stay with my family ever since I moved out of my home for college I've been feeling depressed most of the times and it continues to this day even when I'm a working professional

Thanks for inviting Dr Sid! He is the best neurologist I have come across so far and I regularly watch his videos. He is so grounded and never overacts
