Actually him and his good friend and videographer Sam Palvey are approaching Netflix with some ideas this year. Sam is blowing up now too. Glad your digging Ren, I figured you would. 👍
Samuel Perry Falvey :)
That is cool! Hope to hear more from them in this medium.
They both deserve everything that comes their way. Masters of their crafts.
I'm a 53 year old man and I literally giggled when you said "let's see if he puts a twist on this story"....(knowing what was coming.)
It’s not out of meanness, but I do so enjoy when reactors say something like “I’m ready” right before Violet’s Tale. 😂 No. No you aren’t. It’s like the end of Suic*de. How can you be ready?
Loved that twist! Really add another layer to the storytelling and for replayvalue as well just to go back and pick up more clues.
@@rjpaquin "Who the F is Violet????" You can see them all trying to make connections and figure it out lol
@@LocaButtLove @brainsqueezereactions 😂
@@rjpaquinBahhhhahah.....who tf is Violet??
Wait and see Hector😂
The complete artist: writer musician, actor, storyteller singer and beautiful human.
Amazing!
Modern day bard.
This is a perfect example of a modern day bard. Hes such a good storyteller and wordsmith 😊💜💜
He really is!
Ren is a very rare artistic person. Most artists are one thing, like a singer or painter. Some artists are multi-talented, as in they can sing and play multiple instruments. But occasionally you get those generational talents that can do everything. Sing, play, write, act, produce, and Ren is one of those.
He really is!
Exactly. I cant think of another artist who writes, produces, is multi genre , plays multiple instruments & also, on top of ll that , makes videos that are like a whole movie.
Another very good call with "fight or flight" already in Jennys Tale when Screech is doing exactly this later. You are a freaking good listener! ❤
Except she didn't fight nor flight... She froze. :o
Thanks so much!
According to Ren, himself, he wants to work towards becoming a director of motion pictures. And if he had a chance to act in role…he wants to play a villain. Ren likes the anti-hero characters in his storytelling. You are becoming my favorite YT reactor btw. You do your reactions with respect & knowledge.
Awesome! I could really see him do that. Another medium to explore his creativity. Thank you so much for the kind words.
Nice you caught how Ren's internal metronome ticks all the way through regardless of the Guitar. Have to have a good sense of timing to catch that..
The way he structured this and put it together was amazing. So many elements to this. Looking forward to more.
You'd be surprised how many reactors don't even catch it. Just think it's 3 sad stories. Thank you for this reaction.
Thanks so much! I usually watch a lot of Eminem reactions, because that is the music i know best and it is fun to see new people discover it. Probably the same how it is for Ren fans 😀 (which i am becoming already)
Ren uses every tool in his bag: cadence and flow, how the guitar is played, and used as a percussive instrument AND prop; the setting set the stage , giving you a time and place ; the literary tools of simile , metaphor, alliteration, personification etc to really flesh out each character , each scene, and each Tale, making you feel as if you are watching it performed in real time, and Of course, breaking the fourth wall. Even the ‘overture’ at the beginning of each one sets the tone for what is to come. And you are 100% correct in adding acting to REN’s skills. He manages to speak volumes with his eyes, the look on his face and the angle of his head, as well as his well placed pauses and moments of silence ( MG 1 & MG3 !!). Props to Samuel Perry - Falvey for his brilliant camerawork ( panning in and out in Screech’s Tale as well as in Violet’s Tale - especially When the camera pans up as Ren sings” She ne-ever had a chance “ you can see her chance floating up and out into the black night. If you go back and rewatch it ( you will 😊) listen to the way Ren delivers “ London City Far from pretty “. You will definitely hear contempt in the end. It’s just such a masterpiece and a masterclass in every respect.
* Jenny’s Tale and Screech’s Tale were written about 1 year apart. Feeling it was incomplete Ren wrote Violet’s Tale 3 years after Jenny’s. All were released in 2019.
Thank you for this backstory! And well said! So excited for more Ren.
When this reaction started, you were at 664 views. I had to pause for a business call, came back, and you're up to 866 and climbing, and it's only halfway through! Good on you!
That is amazing! I truly did not expect to grow that fast. Its only been a little over a month and still trying to learn. Thank you for being here!
@SaeedReacts. you're doing great. Well done. Happy to see your numbers grow.
The Renegades showed up and showed support ~!! I just hit the sub button myself😂
Immortal technique blew my mind!! So glad you have discovered Ren and show real appreciation for his talents. He is one special dude!!!
He really is. Looning forward to more.
Finally, someone gets that big ben is the bell, so many reactors said they got the reference to the clock, but its the bell really good reaction
Thanks so much!
@SaeedReacts. just for reference buddy the tower is called Elizabeth Tower, and your welcome mate
Just so you know. Violet's Tale was produced and uploaded 2 years after the original two songs. Simply Amazing.
Amazing! Love he added that part. Its a masterclass in storytelling.
It really elevates the piece to another level, I'm glad he did it before he aged too much!
i'm a new subscriber, i came for Ren but stayed for you, really feels like i am watching with a friend, thank you 🥰
💯 ❤
That is so nice to hear! Thank you. Have a wonderful day.
Ren is a modern day bard painting such vivid imagery with his storytelling that it pulls you in and forces you to keep watching - even when it gets physically uncomfortable during Violet’s Tale. And Ren uses this ability to shed light on far too real issues in the world. Ren is special.
Anyway great reaction. You got it right.
Now you get to wait in eager anticipation with the rest of us, cause Ren has said that he and his cinematographer Sam have plans to film a pilot to pitch to Netflix when Ren has finished treatments in Canada and moves back to the UK. All we know is that it will be in the same raw style as this trilogy, but that is enough for me to say that if Netflix doesn’t give Ren his own show, they are fools.
Oh wow! I would to see him apply his creativity and storytelling to a show. And if he needs a writer in the writers room. I am there 😅. All jokes aside that is something i look forward to.
I'm so glad you were able to find Ren. I get so excited watching reactors discover how amazing he truly is. I can't wait to see the rest of your experience on the Ren rollercoaster. Great reaction!
I am so glad i found him and i almost cant believe i had not heard his music before. What a talent!
If you do get round to doing the Money Game trilogy make sure to do the official lyric video for part 2 not the live spoken word version.
Thanks! I will keep that in mind.
@@SaeedReacts. I agree, but do watch the live version after, it's really good as well.
Rens tales we call "Bardcore" as in the old wandering minstrels back in the day !
That is a cool and accurate term. Had not heard that one before.
Im 42 and Ren is probably my favorite new artist i've discovered in the last 20 years. He hits with me on so many levels with so many songs. Enjoy the journey, he's ridiculously talented.
I think he might be mine too. Still havent heard that many, but they were all masterpieces so far.
Talent overload
💯
Thanks again for spreading RENs artistry
It is so good! Thanks for watching.
Ren and Billy Strings within days! Woo hoo, 2 of my favourite artists.
Will explore more of the both of them!
Ren's Bardcore-Masterpiece, brilliance on so many aspects...poetry, storytellig, guitar skills, singing, acting, rap, cinema, use of the sounds/reverbs of the surroundings, timing (musically and filming in a one take video), the fact it's about abuse and violence, the darkest human reality, makes it even better... etc etc etc - he's another level, his own level... THANK YOU, Ren 🥹🙏🏼
In 2022, Violet was the first video I ever experienced (followed by Hi Ren and Sick Boy and all the others through the night till morning 😅) and it blew me away - I could barely breathe, not to miss a thing...and same as you, I thought - where have you been, how could I miss this natural born artist and why took the UA-cam algorythm that long...😅
Well said. Yes, why youtube? Why didnt you show me this 😅
Well done yes it is the Elizabeth tower.
And Ren has said he would like to get a Netflix series where he has a different conceptual story for each episode.
Would love to see that. He is a great storyteller.
Great reaction video. I like that you picked up in the 2 0 0 5 clue. Most first time listeners miss that.
Thank you so much! He repeated it a few times so i thought it must be important. Great storyteller.
Thany again for a great reaction🙂.
Ren wrote Jenny and Screech's tales after reading an article about a 14 year old boy who stabbed a prostitute in an attempted robbery. The boy was shot by the police later that evening. This made Ren think about the senseless violence and how desensitized we are to it. And how we fail to stop this transgenerational violence. He also saw Screech been a victim of his history. Because he learned his behaviour from his father and grandfather. Just as Jenny learned her behaviour from her silent mother/grandmother.
"It's such a Shame" were the words of a police officer at the scene.
Another detail at the beginning of Screech's Tale: When Ren sings "He melted into the black night just like snow"
Ren almost disappears in the darkness for a moment in the video as well.
Wow! Thanks for sharing this. I need to watch it again with this in mind.
You are correct the bell is called big Ben or the great bell, it was named after Sir Benjamin Hall who was the one who had the job of getting the bell into the tower. Great reaction ❤ from the UK
I did not know who it was named after. Learned someting new 😀 Thank you!
Tarantino movie? Good call actually... Just starting your reaction but that will age well.
Tarantino flow…. No lullaby….Tom Cruise down the street…. Vanilla Sky 😂
More Scorsese, IMo...but not far off (& those exact 2 happen to be my own personal favorites....so either are fine by me.)
He is an amazing storyteller. Looking forward to more like these.
Ren is a modern day Bard
He truly is.
Yay!! This is an absolute masterpiece!! I knew u would love it! I'm going to say that Money Game and Love Music are really the only ones u need to worry about doing in order....After that, feel free to dive in! He had a band called Trick the Fox that he formed before he got sick....They were signed to Sony for a short time but then got dropped because Ren got sick shortly after....Then he was in The Big Push with Gorran, Romain, and Glenn....U can't go wrong with any song!! 😊 Also, not sure if u are familiar with Atmosphere, but since u mentioned loving storytelling songs, u should check them out!
This was amazing. Thank you for sharing this story. Will check out his bands music as well.
His girl was busy with Patrick!
Damn!
Jennys tale was prompted by a newspaper story and people saying its such a shame then a few months later came Screeches tale then it was nearly 2 years later he released Violets tale tying it all together. He is like a medieval minstrel brought up to date. Masterpiece.
Beautiful piece of art!
Glad you did this trilogy! I forgot to mention in my last comment if you do venture into the big push do the videos where he is wearing the red suspenders. The cover of I shot the sheriff / road to Zion mashup and war pigs. There are two versions of the I shot the sheriff and the red suspenders one is the best. Really digging your reactions, you are a great presenter and seem very honest in your recations. Keep up the great work wish you the best.
Thanks so much for the kind words and the extra info!
thank you for continuing to react and support my favourite artist ever the sick boi album is amazing and track 1 seven sins is fire sending big love from the UK ❤❤❤
Its truly my pleasure to go on this journey. Thanks for joining me. Love from Belgium ❤️
Ren just posted it the 5 year anniversary of Jenny, then Screech added Violet 2 yrs later, So Glad won Award for Best video & directing for Money Game 3🏆 I'm sure this trilogy would have won awards too if people had to know more about Ren then. So looking forward to his future trilogies 💞 Great reaction 👍
This is one of the best storytelling songs i have ever heard and i heard a few. Amazing. Thanks for watching.
You don’t find Ren; Ren finds you! Welcome to the Renegades ❤
Thank you!
SO much to take in with this brilliant Shakespearean tragedy. I get frustrated with some reactions when it's missed how he describes Jenny....why would a 14 year old be walking the same street a 1000 times, in high heel shoes? Almost no one seems to catch that. Also, for "Screech's Tale", it seems that almost no one catches that Screech's girlfriend and his friend Patrick, happen to be "busy", or not available, at the same time. Consider why. Maybe they were together? Patrick wasn't home...was he with Screech's girl at her place and that's why she was "busy"? It adds a whole other layer to the story. Also consider that Jenny and Screech were born side by side, and essentially died side by side, one street apart. Born on the same day (2005), died on the same day (2019). An entire family, mother and twins that never knew each other, wiped out by a cycle of violence. An abused mother, a 14 year old prostitute, and a 14 year old thug/murderer. There's sheer brilliance in the line "please let my baby stay alive"....at this point you don't yet know that it's twins, but "baby" followed by "stay" can also be read as "babies" because the S in "stay" isn't necessarily separate from "baby". Say it out loud- you'll understand what I mean. Such a clever way to hide the twist reveal while still giving it up at the same time...if you can catch it. Brilliant.Powerful stuff. In "Violet's Tale", the way he uses the acoustics of his environment to accentuate the song is absolute brilliance too....and btw, Ren is self taught on the guitar. Just one of many instruments he plays including drums, bass, & piano. The man is truly special. A prodigy.
From what I understand, he wrote the first 2 songs after reading an article about a very young man murdering a young woman in London, he didn't write "Violet's Tale" until a few years later and that one was of his own making. He said that there are 2 songs so far that he wrote, that he knew in his gut were special. "Hi Ren" (of course) and "Violet's Tale". (He was right on both counts imo.)
Best breakdown I've read of the outer contexts that make this work astounding 🙌
@@ryanclarke4482- Thank You. When you listen to the story as often as I have some things just start to fall together.
@@kennethmichael5404I think there's a whole band of renegades that bounce from one reaction to another. It's been my sole UA-cam viewing for over a year now (maybe a slight exaggeration 😊) I think it's a addiction 💙 Keep stepping forwards.

Loved your reaction1 You definitely caught more than most! Great hearing your writer’s perspective! ❤️🔥✌🏻🫶🏻
Thank you so much! This was an amazing piece of art.

I definitely will, brother!
I think you're ready to just start exploring. Pick anything from Ren's channel or The Big Push's channel. Let the view count be your guide, or just freelance and pick something that looks interesting.
Looking forward to many of the interesting titles i have seen.
Nice one Saeed! Very few reactors even appear to be curious about who Violet could be let alone pick up on the clues he leaves. I found it difficult to re-visit this for a while after first hearing it because of the uncomfortable and tragic story. Now I am able to appreciate the many layers and details much more so it is definitely worth more views/listens. Cheers.
Thank you! I love the way he built up the story and foreshadowed that twist. Really well done.
love that author perspective you bring to the table.
Thank you! His storytelling is on another level. Amazing!
I look so forward to your Ren reactions!! 😊 And, you are absolutely adorable! Much love! ❤
Thank you so much ❤️
Great smiles, and much reminisence with this. Thx for your react, lightened up my day!
Thank you, that is nice to hear. Enjoy the rest of your day.
DISCMAN!! absolutely😂 Ren's Guitar skills are outta this world but then so are all his other traits. Great reaction glad you enjoyed the tales❤
His level of skills is incredible. Another masterpiece!
When you talked about the older movies that have a singing narrator, I instantly thought of the movie Cat Ballou with Nat King Cole!
Yes! Also with Jane Fonda. Classic!
It’s one of my favorite movies and you’re the first person to know what I’m talking about 😂
I’ve seen this 100 times and never calculated the date. Great catch.
Thanks! Sometimes an overanalyzing brain can be a good thing 😅
I'm in love with the guitar work in Violets tale❤
So good!
You are in fact correct it is the bell and not the tower which is actually called the Elizabeth tower it was renamed in 2012 to mark the diamond jubilee of Queen Elizabeth II ❤🇬🇧
I did not know it was renamed. Learned something new. Thank you!

Yeah, the 2 zero zero 5 and the ages and when it came out made me get the plot twist early, too. Always looking for such clues. Great story and insane performance!
I am also always looking for clues. Grew up with stories in all formats. Love it! This was truly great storytelling.
Yeah, in movies and everything. Just going through a few of your reactions and I think we're about the same age and been through some same stuff, like Festivals. :D
"The Sixth Sense" blew me away because it was about the only movie where I didn't get the plot twist way ahead. How did you do there?

on a side not - you'll love Rens "What You Want" and "1990s". Enjoy the ride!@@SaeedReacts.
Ren is such an amazing storyteller and performer. Each of these tales was recorded live, in one take. The comparison to Immortal Technique is perfect. Both are such amazing stories. Another fantastic reaction! 💜💜
He is truly exceptional. Thank you for watching.
Not sure of your age.. but when screech first speaks in part 1 of Jennys tale… I totally get Warren G Renegade vibes… and the old school starter jackets he wears in jenny and screech’s tale were a nice surprise of nostalgia as well!
I am 36. Love Warren G!
REN references Tarantino alot in his songs! Pulp Fiction is still my #1 movie of all time and probably will always be! #Royal with Cheese 😂
Love me a royal with cheese 😂.
The final shock is finding out that Jenny is 14 and wearing high heels walking the streets and all that implies.
So many layers to this.
For me it is a stab at the pompous members of the Royal Family. For all their entitlements here are the lives of the underbelly of an affluent society. Mired in a cycle of deprivation, uneducation, and violence. They are the unwanted ones, uncared and ignored.
Will re listen to the song and keep this in mind to see if i can pick that up.
Brilliant reaction to this tragic beauty 🥹🙏❤️

Thank you so much!
The movie, Cat Ballou has a guitared narrator who pops in now and again. Just as an example of a movie like that
Classic! Love Jane Fonda.
Liking your reactions so far, just wanted to hopefully give a bit of constructive criticism, definitely look into changing the settings on your camera or upgrading eventually, the frame rate on your video is quite slow creating lag and it's quite distracting, especially when people watch to see your reactions to certain lines etc. Keep up the good work though dude 👍
I think it had to do with my laptop. Have been working on this all day. I think i have found it now. Only problem is i have like 20 videos already recorded 😅. It was driving me crazy today thats for sure! Thanks for letting me know, i do appreciate constructive critisism.
Each section is a one take live performance
Great skill!
U are going to love the Money Game Trilogy
I am looking forward to it. So impressed by Ren
If you're enjoying the analysis side of things then reach for 'Animal Flow' which has Easter eggs pointing to dozens of films/stories/paintings etc. (It has a wicked beat too, somewhat inspired by Black Skinhead). He's also very focused on detail (like a writer). Every passing comment, piece of punctuation, image in the background, change in acoustics, and silent pause is there for a reason and never accidental.
That sounds interesting! Will check that out. Thanks.
ren wants to make like black mirror type show but musical and the is proposing it to netflix
That would be cool. Hope to see that one day.
Love it! Excited to watch this.
Thanks!

also if you havent noticed each video was recorded as a 1 take and was also recorded live
That takes skill
After watching the entire reaction, I don't think I can suffer thru that slide show frame rate again. I can't watch another video on this channel until that's fixed (it just drives me crazy). Maybe I'll check back from time to time to see if it's sorted.
I am in the proces of trying to fix that. I do have a few videos already recorded so those you might skip.
At some point, you really need to watch his "Money Game" trilogy. They progressively get better as you go. You won't regret it.
Just make sure to watch the Lyric video for MG2
I definitely will. Is that usually done in 1 video or 3 seperate videos?
@@SaeedReacts.3 separate ones but in order x
Ren has done some interviews with reactors that let us in on alot of where he comes from. They are worth a watch but not necessarily for reacting as they are so long. The notable ones for me are Justin hawkins and Knoxhill . Oh and Elisabeth from the charismatic voice.
That is so cool! I will watch those at some point.

I don't know if it's the frame rate on your camera or your computer, but as you were moving your head to the music at the beginning it reminded me of Max Headroom from MTV😂. Not a complaint, just an observation 😊
Ye, its driving me nuts! 😁 Been trying to fix it all day. Sadly i have recorded like 20 videos before i noticed 😅 Hopefully i get it fixed soon.
@@SaeedReacts. No worries, I'm sure you'll get it figured out. I just thought it was a fun reminder of the days of yore 👍

Thank you so much for the super thanks! I know them by name, but not really familiar with their music. I need to check them out. Any recommendations? Have a great day!
@SaeedReacts. you should definitely check 'em out! You can't go wrong with any of their songs but if I had to choose a couple from each artist ... Falling in Reverse - Watch the World Burn and Last Resort Reimagined (those should give you the gest of their abilities). Twenty-One Pilots - Car Radio and Trees (live). NF - The Search and Hope (NF fans are gonna kill me for going out of order lol).
I will try to record one of these over the weekend. Have a great weekend!
Big bens a giant clock in London that quit working
Unfortunately you are mistaken, Big Ben is indeed the bell within Elizabeth Tower
Screech killed her because she wouldn't stop looking at him. She couldn't. He looked...familiar.
Damn! That hits!
Hey buddy,
I was about to click the abo about 2 times but..... Me personal, I listen to youtube if I want to listen to music and sometimes I prefer to listen in accompanie.
Meaning the sound is the essential. Next is personal reference to the reactor.
Why I only clicked the like button today is as my setup was up to 140%.
Please check for a better sound (my preference = original a litter louder tahn reaction 105/95) and youll have my abo for sure.
I appreciate constructive critisism. Do you mean it needs to be louder? The music and the mic?
Kennethmichael already said what I wanted to say (and some more 😅) and there are so many elements here that can be interpreted different. Was Jenny and Screech a result of ince*t and why Stevie called her a liar? Etc etc.
But I do remember getting my first walkman, even before discman, playing mixed cassettes that was copied from hours and hours waiting in front of the radio to hit record (and do it all over if they started talking before the song finished..) good times 😅
I need to rewatch it again and see if i can catch more clues and nuances. I also had a walkman, but i really got into music a few years later when i got a discman for my birthday.
Sorry for spaming but: YOU DID PUT IT TOGETHER!? That is really rare. But you really listen so you were able to see the twist coming. Great reaction! Loved everything about it again ❤ Can't wait to see you going on onto 😊this journey.

I see your camera is still struggling with low frame rate. Hopefully you get that resolved soon. I have to mention it because it's bit distracting. Fortunately, the PIP video you are watching isn't suffering the same issue.
Thanks for letting me know. I will try to fix that. I do have a few video's prerecorded, so you might want to skip those.
