All I know is that in WorldSBK the ZX absolutely destroys its competitors.
Not the same bike.
Well its not WorldSBK. Its full Stock-commercial bike mate.
+Naz Aydemir take the limiters off and it's a monster...
they are all limited sir.
watch Suzuka 8hr endurance race, where motogp and sbk riders also competes. fyi R1 dominated
zx 10r is a beast stick a full exhaust systemt and get the ristrictors off and boom you have a pure beast.... i love all 3 but zx10r is a pure animal that thing just want to go baby.......😜
Try our Language Dumbass
Hi my Friend you insult's other People for their Language, i understand him and i'm a German Guy and he say only his Opinion!
i know my English is not perfect how i write but i understand all good and i offend not other people what write not perfect English like you. End of Story, i lost only my Time with you
The same can be said about other bikes too bro.
+Hugh Jaanus please just shut up
All 3 bikes are restricted stock, but the Zx10r is the first Euro 4 compliant and most restricted. I think the real true test of performance is to remove their restrictions.
spot on
what parts of these bikes are restricted?
+Jarren Wong The ecu, catalytic converters, Top speed limiters etc. It's just that the Zx10r's limiters are more pronounced, like having 3 catalytic converters intead of just one.
Rider makes the most difference.
I've seen a few guys post dyno runs of the R1 before the ecu is flashed and after. the bike gains like 12-15hp (no mapping) only removing some of the settings yamaha used with the stock exhaust in place. some guys have looked at the stock map and the throttle doesnt open 100% in many areas of the rpm range.
If you want a nice stereo system, get a Yamaha. If you want a nice car, get a BMW! Leave the best bikes made to Kawasaki.
hah! best
Or a very nice piano, get a yamaha
Or a nice drum set get a Yamaha
best tuning for these bikes is to throw the big and ugly license plates away...+10mph :)
yup!
I honestly don't understand why they don't just manufacture them with a "fender eliminator" cause that the first mod everyone does....
+SonGokuSSJ3 mostly to abide by most countries laws. For most, the plate has to be the furthest thing back on the bike.
Yes Its also the law in my country. Tail Tidys are illegal wtf!! I just bought a used s1krr & the owner had already fitted a tail tidy. Very nice & clean looks. But I will also have to get the stock frame back from him & fit it back on when the vehicle inspection time comes.
The overall honesty in lieu of an unbiased review is greatly appreciated!
kawasakis win the world super bike races and the british super bikes races Yamaha wins the GP races the best BMW can do is 4th or 5th
Yamaha couldn't win motogp without Valentino Rossi....
Remember when Rossi was with honda? What was yamaha back then? Absolutely nothing.
But Kawasaki won due to the tech.
I help anytime : Its not only the Rossi
BMW won iom TT..
I help anytime its just a MotoGP bike, but a production Yamaha is the best Track bike besife Panigale.
On the AFM championship for example s1000 and zx10r are doing better than the yam....
It will be interesting to see when the other bikes have have the euro 4 emissions
Should have considered the RSV4 as well. It's winning in two different SuperStock series with no factory backing, after all...
I love the Aprilia but this was a 4-cylinder shootout between the new kid (ZX) and the two reigning kings!
Except that... they're not necessarily the reigning kings.
+Steve C S1000rr and 2015 r1 are tho...
Except that they're not. The RSV4 has roundly beaten them just as often as it's been beaten. The tests are both subjective and objective - and it has punched its weigh into the heavyweight ring with the others, no problem.
+Steve C Not saying you're wrong but what's one thing the RSV4 dies better than the R1 and RR,
2015+ S1000rr destroys on all of those bike hard in a top speed run or hwy pulls. The s1000rr is definitely the most comfortable and street able of the group.
I love the r1, though it's a focused track weapon. Zx10r isn't a consideration between the r1 and the Bmw.
Truth all over your words
The s1000 feels like you are sitting straight up when you are on it. Hard to feel aggressive when you feel like you are riding a Harley.
+Budco Racing I own a 16 s1000rr. I have no problem getting the bike down or driving aggressive.
I also have a 13 r1, much more aggressive riding position, however I don't notice much of a difference between the bikes(however the Bmw pulls corn fields on my r1).
If anything wheel base is a much bigger factor when it comes to turns.
Does the 2015+r1 handle better? Absolutely. However I'd take the s1krr on the street
+elvisge7 Yes sir😉
+MrJayjay0420 well considering I rode the 2016 s1000rr back to back with a 2016 rsv4rr the ape just had more agressive positioning. the bmw def impressed me more than the previous years but both me and my bud agreed it felt like sitting upright. When my body position gets agressive that is the exact opposite of what I want. I even lower my clip ons as much as I can for any bike, as in I have a gap between my tripple tree and clip on. i just didn't like the feeling.
This is not a good review.
Why is the word "character" being used so much by the expert who has ridden every motorcycle in the past 20ish years? What does this even mean? For a consumer who is looking compare each of the bikes, how is this supposed to translate into actionable intelligence? Character is defined as mental and moral qualities distinctive to an individual; how does this apply to a motorcycle? I think what he means is, "I don't like how it looks." Please use words and phrases that are actually quantifiable.
Picking the BMW for the street because of rider aids mentioned is just nonsense. The Yamaha has traction and slide control just like the BMW, so that is a moot point. Personally, the R1's TCS/SCS saved me on the road when hitting gravel and it is for sure not lagging the S1000RR in this aspect. Heated hand grips? Really? You are picking one sportbike over another because of heated hand grips? Why not mention the actual riding position (BMW is a more upright compared to the Yamaha's very aggressive position). Since the topic was which bike to ride on the street, perhaps mention the mirrors or heat.
All in all, just a poor review.
agree mostly on that "character" word. this word is really overused and biased nowadays. almost every each channel that review bikes use this word to define something that thyself only know. sometimes they decide one bike is better than another just because this "character" thing.
Character is entirely subjective, but if you have a few guys loving the way the bike makes you feel, rather than cold calculated statistics, then the only way to express that is through "character".
yap. agree. but this "character" thing should be placed last on the list when comparing bikes. they should compare other non-subjective aspects such as power, power to weight ratio, value for money, etc that will obviously clear to everyone. I think that how a pro should work. if character is the main aspect to choose what is better, that's not really professional I guess.
Character when used for vehicles is used for the nature of the engine and the noise of the exhaust. I'm not sure how hard of a concept this is. Very smooth and quiet bikes may be better in a category but may not leave the rider fulfilled in excitement. I've owned both the S1000rr and the R1 and the heated grips and cruise control are excellent road benefits that you don't get unless you've used them and lost them. However, to me, the agility of the R1 is a higher advantage than those features on the BMW but I do miss them. Both are great bikes but as strong as the BMW is, it just didn't have anything that moved me to ride it like my other bikes.
"Character when used for vehicles is used for the nature of the engine and the noise of the exhaust." -Jason Hawkins. Even if that were entirely true, which it isn't, and if everyone knew that, which they don't, then why not say that clearly instead of obscuring it away in such a saying? For example, "I don't like the sound of the exhaust." There, that is a clear description of what you don't like about the bike. Besides, what does "nature of the engine" even mean? Your explanation to an abstract description of "character" is even further removed with a comment like "nature of the engine."
There are so many differences between these two bikes that any competent reviewer should have no issue providing quantitative and substantiated reasons for their likes or dislikes. If this was an editorial piece then fine, throw in all the nonsense analogies and disregard physical characteristics. Each person's opinion doesn't need facts to back it up; it is just your opinion and I can respect that.
There are so many ways to rip this review it isn't even worth it. Plain and simple, poor review.
I've heard and read that the BMW has strongest engine and beats the R1 and ZX-10R in a straight line. Why did you get a different result?
I was wondering that myself.
From a roll race bmw is untouchable.
Never seen it tested at 199.5 hp at the wheel. I have seen 196 for it and the Panigale with the Kawa at 191 and R1 at 190. But its more about the electronics than the outright power at this level.
Dynos vary power results comparing just numbers is pointless if it's not same day same dyno
I am aware of that, but I still have never seen a reading that high, anywhere. Some dynos over read and some very conservative.
So if they are so close it's like splitting hairs stock, I would love to see the same tests unrestricted. The Kawasaki is the only one to have Euro4 and that was not mentioned and Kawasaki in general restricts their bikes more anyway. I think an unrestricted battle would show the true strength of the ZX10R
The Kawa in this test has an aftermarket end can !!!!
u actually get around 20+hp with a tune can and filter easily. i am just about to buy one for track usage
R1 is my dream bike.
mine is ducati panigale 1199
cool
mine is 135lc
Syed Nurhilmi Whatever makes you happy.
+Vinay Kumar i'm always happy
BMW has the most tuned engine . And its super confortable
Bmw all day
All 3 bikes are good
But as always
Bmw S1000rr is the beast!!
which 1 is worth. i am looking for zx10r what do u think should buy it or u suggest anything else.
Never go wrong with a Kawasaki. I have a 2007 ZX10R and 2015 ZX14R 30th Anniversary Limited Edition. Both are awesome bikes!!!
ZX10R all the way man. Won't regret it.
but no one has mentioned that the zx10r is already within the new euro legislation thingy regarding (i am drunk right now so probably wrong) power or emissions where as the others all start next year i belive.... so all the testing is a bit one sided
all great bikes come down to what u like..but i know one thing 1st and 2nd wsbk Kawasaki. 1st and world ssp so I'll keep my 2016zx10r good luck with ur choice and be careful out there
Those plates are funny as hell look like a billboard
Hello,
What is the difference between the 2016 model KRT and the 2017 model KRT? Why is the 2016 model cheaper than the 2017, if are the same? Many Thanks
Lets keep it simple:
BMW is that high maintenance mistress you always take out, and leaves you broke. Performs well in bed and and out in the street.
The R1 is that stripper you'd visit every once in a while. Treat it right, and you'll have the time of your life.
Finally, that Kawi is that wife that will please you for the rest of your life - low maintenance, reliable, and performs well ;)
We will see how things go when all of the bikes have euro 4 restrictions and not just the zx10r
No more factory unrestricted tuning for companies like BMW.
hello can you tell me which SOUND has to leave of 1.mn
Those three bikes are just amazing. It would be lovely to ride those three. Each of the bike has it's own character and the performance is just wise and brilliant. It's just up to the individual which one of those bikes has tackle his interest of owning it. Well, I am going to buy the Kawasaki ninja zx10r because I simply love its character that it has brought along the performance packages.
A lot of people like to look down on Kawasaki but when it comes down to it its a great bike for a great price. Yes id love a BMWS1000RR (who wouldn't) but the price is a bit excessive same for the Yamaha for the price of an R6 you can get a ZX10R. Kawasaki make clean reliable bikes that do great in the BSB and WSB. Kawasaki are a great overall bike with performance and price and is good at pretty much everything unlike others that may be good at one thing and not the other. The only downside to Kawasaki is the display and that they need to introduce a screen like all other bike manufactures now :)
Good music choices, enjoyed that. The camera pannings at the track were a bit off though which is a shame.
I never see anyone mention the KEBC though? The engine braking controls are absolutely amazing, especially for the track. Did you guys play with it at all?
Have to disagree with the weight of turn in between the ZX and the S1k. I have the ZX, and my housemate the S1k, and we both agree the ZX tips in a lot easier.
At this level, all bikes are great. It comes down to your comfort. I went in to buy an S1000rr, but the bike, although fun, was very, very uncomfortable for me. I then road the K1300S, and I LOVED it! Went to test ride a ZX-10R and ZX-14r and they wouldn't let me do that, even when I explained about my back problems, and I only wanted to ride 1-2 miles at low speed. They still said no. So I bought the K1300S, and its fantastic! More comfortable than a Sport/Track Bike, but almost as fast.
as fast as?...how with only 175 HP?? BMW site specs for this bike - Maximun speed - Over 125 mph.....LOL
+Ed Mon those k1300s move man. I've rode a couple. no its not a s1000 but it still kicks the shit out of anything 4 wheels and most 2 wheels while gaining a good bit of comfort
So True. I had it up to 160 the other day. It must be limited at 171 (published max speed). No shimmy, shake, or anything. Also still had the crappy Metzler tires on from purchase.
are we going to ignore the fact that the zx10 has aftermarket exhaust
Yes, because the catalytic converter is still on the bike, the slip on just change the noise a bit
+Blackcupra43 it might be minimal power added but it adds some type of power and shaves weight
its also more restricted
Wrong you get bhp increase good indeed and kawa has made sure to tune it with this new aftermarket slip on.. On the zx14r they made 8 whp when the slip CC was still on and you could buy option extra at Kawasaki dealers =) So yea they`re sneeky..
In perforamcve bikes they`?re were close the BMW was just ahead in 0-60-0-100-0-150 braking better so you see to do 1/4 when you test perfroamce is fucking pathetic it`s all in the launch any giving day WHY not do 60-180mph runs or 0-180mph runs 180mph - 0 braking measuring G force etc etc now thats sperate the girls from the men.. The bmw will win everytrhing from 60-180 roll on race and high gear roll on it`s fricken insane the TQ the soon TQ you get just makes more sense on the street BUT it`s rather boring i had a tuned HP4 BMW and sold it to my dad and he had a zx10r gen4 when both was tuned and the kawasaki was just way more drama and thats what i like the ZING the drama that takes your breath away..
There is no denying the 2015 bmw has the best ENgine to date if we dont count 1299ducati But on the street BMW makes most sense for most ppl it does everything correctly however it`s heavy and it feels kinda like a GTR the electronics does the job and it feels heavy vs a Porsche GT3..
Doesn't the BMW come with an akrapovic as well?
But what if you were to only pick one of them for all round use?
not sure where in nc one reply was talking, because here in Charlotte NC, no one on a zx 10, gsx r, or r1 has gotten me on my 2013 Beemer, and that's on track, mountains, street...
Haha in the end it's Bmw and Yamaha my most FAVORITE brands, I have an 04 R6 right now and I absolutely love it! there's NOTHING like a Yamaha!!!
how was your guys 1000 mile ride, how long did it take?
It really bothered me that you did not raise your foot to the peg for such a long time
Very good review. The r1 is just awesome! And the BMW is just a beast!
Kawasaki zx10rr my dream :)
Yes
i cant resistl myself, when i see "him"(s1000rr).that is my dream, it cost about cost $18,050. but in vietnam you have to pay $18,050X2,5 to own "him".its very expensive
You comparing a R to a RR class? HUGE difference between the Kawa R and RR , hence the huge price difference and more so, PERFORMANCE, yes?
what is the year of the r1 and the bmw
so.. why does the zx10 have an aftermarket exhaust and the other 2 are bone stock.. weighted trial
I chose the R1 after a cat delete and ecu flash I am never disappointed with my choice 😎
This is the most objcetive review i've seen so far !
lol how much drag would that number plate produce you reckon?
could you make a new video for 2020 v4r s1000rr mpackage zx10rse r1m gsx1000r and the cbr1000rrr
Great idea - as far as standard road bikes go, on the track the fight for laptime supremacy would be between Ducati, BMW and Honda closely followed by the R1M. Kawasaki might do ok depending on the circuit but in terms of their road process then that'll be the interesting (and much more relevant) question.
@@bennettsbikesocial which is better for you in the road s1000rr m package or zx10rse
@@mengullojushuas.5598 BMW. No question. Better engine, comfort, style, suspension, brakes, rider-oriented TFT dash...
bull, kawasaki did not sponsor many magazines this year and they are punishing them for it..check the wskb and your local club racing circuit as well as my reviews...real people reviews. kawi and bmw is where its at, kawi edging a bit.
The R1 won the 1/4 mile drag race? Ok, I'm a fan of the R1 and own one myself, but I know that the ZX-10R and S1000RR would have outran the R1 especially in the drag strip. The test riders must have felt comfortable on the R1 to get faster times. I think if the electronics were turned off and an NHRA pro stock rider was testing all bikes, he'd get the best 1/4 on the S1000RR. Around the track though I think the R1 has the best set ups, the Ninja and BMW are just straight line Busa hunting street rockets.
R1 is faster than the zx10 for sure. But I don't know about the s1000rr. That bike is crazy fast in the drag strip.
But then again, it comes down to the rider.
Who own?
which bike is the lightest?
Yamaha R1
R1 is the best one
Yes it is that's fact 💯
R1 is the like war machine
zx10r is back baby😂😂😂
2:02 May need to change that shift light setting
Yah Jo bike hai iska amount Kitna hai Jara bataiye na please
I have to ask.... why no CBR1000?
holy fuck those license plates are huge!😲
All three are fantastic motorcycles
s1000rr all the way
BMW is faster than the kawi then kawi is faster than the yami.....on drag but on track I would choose the r1 and the s1000rr
He would choose the BMW because of its rider aids and heated grips??? What kind of dumb statement is that.
track bike..zx10r only
what helmet is the black one that has like a lip on the back of it? it looks sexy af
It's the AGV Pista GP and our tester Michael Mann rates it highly - even on the road!
i have Pista Gp full carbon and it is amazing
Zx10r rocks. Great video
Zx10r is better than the S1000rr?
I am manwar mere ko bike bahut achcha Laga isliye main comment per aapko bola is ka amount kitna hai
Where is the best bike? The Aprilia RR
dude BMW is the best always one step ahead and the 2016 has cruise controll no other bike has those features boys, trust me is the best
i prefer the RF over the s1krr.
We lob me doesn't really seem like a company to make motorcycles. Like someone goes up to u and he's a new rider. "Oh what's that" U respond, a BMW. That sounds so weird
cruise control? shit pal, If I am riding I WANT ride it not let the computer do it for me
+Ed Mon I hit the cruise on a1a and point at the ladies, while giving my wrists and back a break... it's an awesome feature. don't hate
finally Yamaha is back with a TOP bike
kawasaki has 100 year expirance with super sport bike, bmw 1000rr is first super bike made by bmw. Anyone belive this is better bike???!!!!! nonsens
What ever your has spoke ZX10R is so nice
ther is a kawasaki h2 r test that and compare
Where is Ducati Panigale 1299 S?
were is the cbr 1000 and the gsxr1000
in a tree on mars....they're way behind these bikes
theres tests where the cbr and gsxr beat them in the 1/4 mile. Also they rate really high for street riding
music 1:00
Thế tóm lại là bạn thích chiếc nào nhất vậy,sorry không biết nói tiếng anh😁
.......... Wat???
bmw with oz racing wheels amazing
Winner?
Why not an R1 M
where is Honda CBR 1000RR?
Its not comparable to these bikes for outright pace, and has no electronics. The new for 2017 model should rectify that, as should the new Gixxer.
The Kawasaki is the best of all the bikes here 👍
Bennetts Bike you get bhp increase with aftermarket exhaust, good indeed and kawa has made sure to tune it with this new aftermarket slip on.. On the zx14r they made 8 whp when the slip CC was still on and you could buy option extra at Kawasaki dealers =) So yea they`re sneeky..

kawasaki zx10r is my dream bike
Wheres cbr
beautiful r1!
very nice
BMW is by far the best one here, better build quality and best looking of the three..
Best looking? the s1000rr is the ugliest super bike ever made bruh
And Every one and their dog knows that Ecu de restricted ZX10r will kill it, it is competitive even with its very restrictive Euro 4 additions.
Bmw not faster, its just lest factory restricted.
And Yamaha sounds the best.
Far less ugly than the geeky fugly looking zx or R1 though..
Draxindustries1 yeah, right. BMW looks goofy af with its retarded asymmetrical headlights. Furthermore, the BMW has a huge piece of ugly black plastic on the tail section in front of the tail light. The tail section on the BMW is by far the ugliest of thus bunch. I've been wanting an s1000rr for a while now. That is until yesterday when I went and seriously looked at it. Great bike, but ugly af
I think the designer of the S1000RR was drunk when he designed the headlights. LOL
Comes down to the rider
Just the great R1 and forget that green turtle at all.
just look at the 2016 British super bikes races an d youll see the kawasaki easily dominates the bmw and the yamaha where all the bullsit ends
Ducati won the 2016 BSB !!!!
yes they seem to out power the rest of the field next season is going to be interesting chassis set up and Balance tyre choices makes a big difference in winning
when you race nothing else comes close to the r1 thats a fact
How much BMW pay u guys to spread those lies about that peace of crap.... u can't compare bmw with yamah or kawasaki no way they are to far in front.... I know few guys who have new bmw and have almost the same problems with gearbox or some of them have strange noises from the bike after 2000km +\- , and they went in service but ppl didn't know where is the problem so for now I will not recommend that bike seriously.... and how long they stick witk K9 engine on bmw.... sorry but 🇯🇵 bikes are best... how aabout Ducati?? Example... they need engine 1300cm to compare with 1000cm Japan bikes and still no chance at all funny... bikes for showing off and reall bikes are not the same..!!! End of storry.... ride safe guys...
The bmw front on looks butt ugly, the Yamaha r1 looks mean n nasty, the kawa looks tame as always !
Did I see a guy reading a Bible at the beginning? If so, 👍🏼. I like that guy......
take it easy guys
#S1000RR make video all sportbike 1000cc pls
Bmw the king
Yamaha r1 is track king
Kawasaki 💚🖤
Which is best at destroying tyres? (wink)... :)
Easy, the BMW. It's electronics are a little behind the other two and it certainly chewed more rubber as a result!
YES YAMAHA
