You probably chose one of the wrost performances of the truth untold lol specifically for Jimin since he was sick this day. I would actually recommend you to watch the ones from rose bowl or bangcock( this one in particular had a phenomenal ad-lib by Jimin that got everyone shook, and he did it both in day one and day two). This is a difficult song to sing live and sometimes their voices are just tired,cause this comes up almost by the end of the show when they've been singing and dancing for more then two hours so yep ☹️ there's that too

i get so amazed each time by Jungkook's voice and technique while singing. He indeed is the main vocalist with a reason. Btw, the high note was Jimin and Jungkook as well, his ad-lips are amazing and he nails this song *every* time, basically every song.

Jungkook always so in control, his voice is so beautiful and I love Taehyungs voice a lot and he killed it!! I wish tae would get more lines. Jin started a little rough in the beginning but got right back up. This wasn’t jimins best performance but I guess he was sick.

Aaron, thanks for your honest review. I love Jimin no matter how he sounds or dances. I know he always want to present the best for us ARMY. He's allowed to make mistakes because I know he works sooo hard. Their concerts usually have 20-25 songs, with lots of chores and vocals. Touring is especially hard since they've been practically non-stop since beginning of the year traveling between countries/cities across time zones. Jimin usually is assigned higher notes and I feel like this causes stress sometimes. If you want to check some really good Jimin vocals, try react to "Home" for the 5th muster. Jimin sounds soooo good in this. I feel like the vocal range and techniques used in this song suits him the most. He's relaxed and no strains at all.

But One of the reason that Jimin often has unsteady vocal performances is due to his medical condition call “tonsillar hypertrophy(enlarged tonsils)” Jimin has mentioned briefly in one of the BTS video footage. In his case, it seems mild & doesn’t need surgery(surgery might be harmful to a vocal cord of singer.) but people who has this condition would very easily get inflammations to their vocal cord, a nasal cavity & would get ear infections & takes longer time to recover! I know this condition well because I have same condition! Whenever I feel tired even a little bit or over used my voice my throat would swelled & difficult to swallow let alone singing like Jimin! Please, also know that compare to other members who had 2-3 years of training before their debut, Jimin is the only who has been a trainee less then 1 year before BTS debut & accepted as last BTS member & started his vocal training just 3 months before debut! Before this, he never had a vocal training or doesn’t have singing background! (It seems the BigHit entertainment management was worried about his insufficient vocal training times, but they didn’t want to lose him as BTS member because his amazing dancing skills, cute appearance, friendly,likable personality & most of all his undeniable hardworking efforts! And of cause rest of the BTS members has strongly insisted on having Jimin as BTS member!) In fact Jimin is the first trainee in K-pop history who has debuted as idol with less then 1 year training! But as we all know Jimin has worked tremendously hard to make it happened & all the BTS members have praises his tireless efforts & they even said Jimin has inspired them to work harder!!! Now he has developed this beautiful, expressive & unique vocal tone with such angelic high notes & amazing vocal skills! But during those 1-2 years right after their debut, Jimin really had hard time & even now it still makes him insecure & doubt about his singing abilities!!! I believe he will always work hard to improve his vocal stability & more! And like any other BTS members he will achieve this goal in time! He just has to be patience! As a fan who has witnessed their amazing growth, I will always cheers & praises their efforts more then the results!!! I hope you would feel the same!!!

You can tell how much this song means to v by the way he mouths every word, even when he is not singing. Also for Jungkook, he was very emotional and kept his eyes closed the majority of the song.
There are a few performances where Jimin wasn’t feeling well so had junkook supporting him. This could be once of those instances, but at a point where he wasn’t sure of it yet

It's so amazing and admirable how Jimin manages to push on through in spite of being so sick! Even with his bad throat condition he managed to hit some still beautiful sounding notes at times! This is so hard for me to see! I hate so much for any one of them to have to perform when sick! I just wonder why, out of all performances, and there are so many, why this one was chosen!! I just hope this one wasn't sent to you! Because why would anyone intentionally prefer this performance when there are many with all the members in healthy condition!
I was also thinking, is there someone who intentionally provided this link to Aaron? There are so many links of best live performances in TTU, even in their latest Speak Yourself tour but seriously why this one where Jimin was sick and had problem with his voice. It was so surprising that it was the one being provided out of many good videos. Does someone intentionally provided it coz that person knows that Jimin is Aaron's bias? This is definitely not new! Jungkook and jin are the most stable vocalist in bts, jimin kinda gets unstable very often, but its ok! He still sounded good, actually he was really sick that day!

Jimmy does have a good voice, but the quality of the performance depends on his physical condition at the time which means it's unstable and that's why JK is the main vocal but because Jimmy's timbre is so good, BigHit still puts him in a very important position (lead vocal). Competition in the k-pop industry is fierce, with many new groups debuting each year, and in October SM entertainment, South Korea's largest entertainment company, will launch a group made up of several superstars... If BTS wants to go forward for a long time, it really needs the solidarity of fans. Some individual fans have acted selfishly and only hurt BTS. I am deeply regret that .

Why will you suggest him to see the performance that you know one member messed up? That part where JK laughed at Jin was not even funny! Ya never can tell how Jin felt that time. He's not just the type of person who shows his emotion just like the other members who cried when they messed up. In the tour this song is sung after Jin's solo, in Epiphany Jin closes the song with a super high note so something always exhausted arrives for the next song.
I don't know if you know, but Jimin has a beautiful and powerful voice, but at the same time he is very unstable. He has a very thin voice and there are not many artists who have and know how to handle this type of voice that is sometimes heard broken but it is not bad, only this is his voice. Jimin is one of the members who is most affected by the exhaustion of the tours and that has a negative impact on his voice, however he decides to make an effort but sometimes that is bad and hurts his vocal cords and cannot reach the notes. This is why Jimin is so insecure about his singing, because he is usually one of the most vulnerable in the group. But under optimal conditions Jimin is able to give an excellent presentation. There is a difference between listening to this song the first or second date of the tour or an intermediate date where sometimes they give 4 consecutive dates of concerts.

By the way, isn't that a bit contradictory? First you state that Jimin has a very powerful voice! Then you claim his voice is very thin! Well which is it? 😂😂😂 You can't have it both ways! Either Jimin's voice is thin or it's powerful! How can it be both! In any case, with this new BTS film it focused on Tae's sore throat! Which he even cries about! The interesting thing is no one says how insecure he is about himself when he cried. Although that's exactly what everyone said when they showed Jimin back stage in Chile having such a bad sore throat as well. Jimin was just as upset as Tae was when he couldn't perform at his best but why is Jimin the only one after showing that seen as lacking confidence and being insecure! It was the exact same situation for Tae but that was different! The last year Tae had had way more throat problems the Jimin., does that mean he has a 'thin' voice as well?
@@abbiea1237 Even JK cried a lot because his voice cracked in Euphoria and Jimin was actually the one who always there to comfort them even to Tae! The one she claimed as the vulnerable member. That part where Jimin was shown crying was few years ago! And that was just in one particular performance. And he already overcome his insecurity. We can't really tell if that can be considered as insecurities coz Jimin is just too perfectionist. That's more like him even on his dancing, he always make sure to execute perfect moves. Now jimin is very confident with his voice. He even say it on his vlive. Even Jin experienced a voice cracked on his performance in TTU. So it means that all of them has their own bad experience as an artist but it difinitely never made them a vulnerable or weak singer.
I can't believe that you find jimin as the most unstable and vulnerable in the group. So are you saying that Bighit made a huge mistake when they gave Jimin the official title of the Lead vocalist of the group? Have you ever realized that Jimin is also the main dancer and always given the hardest and most challenging part in their songs for the reason that he is definitely the member who is capable of being stable while doing some hard choreo aside from JK. And Jimin voice is definitely not thin! He has a voice color that he may be sound a bit feminine in some songs but he has a deep speaking manly voice. He can sometimes sing in raspy voice. How can you forget how he always slay that chours hard parts, in danger, we are bulletproof and that hard raspy verse in fire on which no one in the other members can do. About being vulnerable. Are you even aware that Jimin is the most strongest in all the members, it's just so sad that you find him vulnerable. In contrary Jimin is the one who have a great stamina in all members. Those insane popping he always do in every choreo requires lots of strong core muscle! Imagine doing it while doing those freaking lines that was assigned to him. How can you even assumed that he's the most affected one for all the exhaustion in their tours? When it was RM, V, Jin and Jhope was the members who always complains for being too exhausted and it was even shown in their Bring the Seoul the Movie. Sis there's no performance that Jimin cannot hit his highnotes. Even on this particular performance. Even if his voice was a bit hoarse he always hit those highnotes and never failed even once!
I am not attacking Jimin. My bias is Jimin, I have followed the boys' career practically since its inception so I allow myself to criticize them, but obviously not with bad intentions. Jimin always had stability problems with his voice, JK in general is always the most stable in lives. Jimin is too affected by exhaustion especially on tours. And it is normal, they are human beings, they are not robots. Jimin has a beautiful and powerful voice in optimal conditions.
pd; When I say "vulnerable," I meant that physical exhaustion in performances sometimes affects your voice a lot. And sometimes he looks very exposed because he is responsible for many high notes and if his voice breaks, it is evident. But this is not always, for example I have seen Fake Love performances where it does great, it is somewhat exhausting to do all those movements, but it does great. But it is not the same to do one or two performances in one day, than to do 30 songs in less than 3 hours. And do this several days in a row.

The Truth Untold performances were always performed after all the energetic and powerful songs like Fire, Fake Love, Idol, Mic Drop, Baepsae... in BTS's concert, so their voices were not perfect to hit those high notes, but they did it pretty well and touched
