Untold Truth gives me goosebumps it's so good and Outro:Tear is one of my fav rapline songs. I love it because the strings give it this epic feel but the song goes hard but most of all the lyrics are honest, raw, and deep. Loved the BT21 clip at the end you guys totally need to watch the "Making of BT21" series ua-cam.com/video/OCtCmqoP2RI/v-deo.html on youtube the episodes are super short so I suggest watch 2 or 3 episodes at a time it's really cool seeing the members create their own characters.

And his ad libs, runs and riffs are to die for.
Not only that. Is technique is so far the best in BTS.

I actually really liked this version, because it has V’s ad libs in The Truth Untold (he did those just at the end of the tour when he got comfortable with the song and knew he could do it live, usually JK does all the adlibs)
Because of the mic drop version they did, It must be a Japan concert, but I’m not sure which city and how long ago, probably it was at the end of 2018 or the first months of 2019.

i dont think tae did the ad libs just in the end of tour cause he got comfortable with the song, they just dont let him sing, if u watch fancams of tae in The Truth Untold performances throughout the tour u can see that he is always mouthing the lines of other members, u can see that he wanted to sing more...

Jungkook could be doing his daily gym exercices and boxing and running at the same time (is that even possible lmao) yet his voices would be so damn stable like he's just sitting and chilling...a main vocal for a bunch of reasons but that's just one...keep up guys ~ love you !
I remember drowning in my tears and singing along to the truth untold, especially since it’s right after epiphany by Jin. It was such a beautiful moment when the crowd sang along with the guys. And then it was hella lit with the rap line performing. It’s an indescribable feeling. The atmosphere and being in a place where you feel nothing but love is amazing. Props to Fort Worth bc we literally sang everything. And Yoongi let us sing his verse in I need you. We were the first and he continued to do it afterwards at the other concerts. Our concert fancams have amazing fan chants. 💜 so proud of Texas army for showing the boys so much love. Hopefully they come back soon.
This made me hella nostalgic so I’m gonna watch my concert videos after this 🥴
This is one of the better TTU lives where Tae did JK's adlibs. 😭😭😭 Tear is always hard and I love the rap line always. And Mic Drop is a winner no matter what language they sing it in. Love you familia! 💜💜💜💜💜💜💜
I didn't realize you'd never heard Outro:Tear before! It's one of my favorite rap line songs and that beginning is the beginning of the song on the album. The backing track to that whole song is based off the song in the Highlight Reels too.

When they started signing The Truth Untold in Paris last June my heart exploded, but when the rap line sang Outro: Tear I felt completely paralyzed, like their voices, their energy had brought me in another dimension. I honestly have difficulty remembering what happened! And thanks to you I had the chance to live that moment again! 😄
“The Truth Untold” is based on the book “la citta de smeraldo/ the emerald city of oz” ..
in summary, the story is about a man trapping himself inside a castle ‘coz he is ugly..
then a girl comes by to his garden to steal flowers.
at first he was mad but he tried to follow the girl secretly & found out that the girl is poor thats why she picks flowers to sell it so he decided to make his own flower, a flower that will only exist on his garden which is the ‘smeraldo flower’.. however the girl stopped coming by ‘coz she died.
The lyrics really gives justice to the story with a message of self acceptance. If only He accepted himself then he would’ve met the girl before it was too late.
The story that truth untold is based on is so beautiful and sad. I also saw someone else comment about it in more depth under another video and they described it so beautifully.

- 4:34 - Marisol has got to be psychic, or a closet Korean, she kept saying "sincere" and that is an important meaning behind the song - The Truth Untold is based on the story, La Citta di Smeraldo - a man is born ugly, a monster, and hides himself away in an abandoned castle, his only joy is found in growing beautiful flowers in his garden - one night, he spies a young woman climbing over the walls to steal some of his flowers - this happens night after night - angry, but curious, he covers his face with a mask, and hides himself in a cloak, sneaking through the shadows to follow her into town, where he discovers she's been selling those flowers to make a meager living - he ends up developing feelings for her and decides to grow a rare flower so she could sell them for more money - eventually, he successfully fills his garden with these rare blue flowers, to find that she has stopped coming over his walls - he ventures back into town and finds out she has died - different flowers have different meanings, the smeraldo flower means "the sincerity that could not be delivered" or, the truth untold - he waited too long to confess his feelings for her, all because he was too afraid to take off his mask and face her - the song is a sad warning to listeners, sung in the man's point of view, to love yourself for who you are, and trust in the love of others for the sincerity of your heart and intention - don't let yourself be the one with regrets because you waited too long - the lyrics mention being ugly, hiding behind a mask, "I'm so afraid", and repeated throughout the song "... but I still want you...", to underline that regret
- *special note* - the smeraldo flowers (in white and blue) are recurring through the BTU - (white flowers) they are in front of the mirror in Blood, Sweat, and Tears at the end when Jin's face starts cracking, they are reflected in the mirror in Run, during that fight between Jungkook and Suga, when Suga throws a chair at the mirror (blue flowers), which somehow causes Jin's house of cards to collapse, they are the flowers (white) in the vase that tipped over in the Highlight Reel, they are the flowers (blue) Jin is holding when he goes to see the girl, who gets hit by a car crossing the street, and they are the flowers (white) in the vase on the coffee table in Epiphany - and, of course, they're the blue flowers referenced in the lyrics of The Truth Untold - the sincerity that could not be delivered
- 9:34 - Outro: Tear - the three are rapping about the death of a relationship - RM says it's making him tear up and cry, Suga says it's tearing his heart out, J-Hope says it's causing him to fear love, and, in the end, they're all ready for it to be over and done

You guys have to listen to The Truth Untold and Outro:Tear with lyrics or like react to those songs with lyric videos because both of those songs are so hard hittingly emotional in their own ways, like Truth Untold being a soulful emotional song and Outro:Tear being so hard hittingly in your face with those heavy emotions and angst, i can't describe to you enough how emotionally heavy both songs are in their own ways, it makes your heart so heavy.

i’ve never went to a bts concert (unfortunately) but from all the DVDs i’ve watched their concert is not just a regular concert, it’s a whole experience.. you get to feel so many different emotions thought the 2 and half hours, it’s crazy! hope i have an opportunity to go some day!

this was from Love Yourself concert in Japan (notice the Mic Drop lyrics, it's the Japanese version).
and that white costumes they're wearing in Outro Tear & Mic Drop was designed and made in Korea. they were showcasing Korean apparels. while in the Speak Yourself tour, they used the Dior custom-made outfits in those two songs.
before the The Truth Untold perf, Jin performed his solo Epiphany. notice the melody when Jimin, JK and Tae joined Jin on stage.

They have to adjust the choreography to fit the stage and sometimes they change the length of the song because it's in a medley. What I find remakable is how they can make alterations just before they go on and remember them.
