We should all begin writing our own psalms to the Lord just like David did. He laid it all before God. God absolutely understands what we are going through as individuals. Thanks for the prayers Sara. I'd also like to pray for the innocent civilians in Palestine (I have a friend from that country) that are in the middle of the conflict along with their pets and those frightened, homeless animals.😿
@@michaelmoerbe8540 Thanks Mike! So sorry to hear about your friend! Definitely lifting your friend up in prayers now and will lift up your friend, their family and pets during my prayer times before I go to sleep at night 🙏🙏🙏
Total honesty before our God, exactly the way we feel before God. God knows who is our enemy (ies) so when we pray now because we live under grace, we pray a little bit differently.
Shalom Sara! 💕 Thank you for reading this Psalm and for your beautiful prayer. I really appreciated your insight. My prayers are very conversational, which can get intense if I’m emotional. When you mentioned flowery prayers, I giggled because my prayers are so opposite of that when seeking the Lord. I think David was very intense because of the many trials he went through. Steve and I are reading through 1 Samuel, and the anxiety he must have been going through when Saul was seeking to kill him must have been so intense! It is really apparent in the Psalms he wrote during that time. In Psalm 13 I think he was full of anxiety and seems depressed. The blessing is that even though he starts out so desperate, the last few verses of the Psalm show his trust in the Lord and that He would bring him to safety. I believe this is because he remembers all that the Lord has done for him in so many other situations. Worshipping the Lord in song shows his faith and thankfulness. Such a great Psalm! Oh, the pronunciation of Tehillim is TE HEE LEEM. I pray you have a blessed evening in Yeshua, and me and Esther send you and the sweet Kitties lots of hugs! 🩷🐶😻🤗🙏💕

@@ChristianAustinite I’m glad!! I hope you’re feeling better!💕🙏
At times, I am quite open with God when praying. I'm not always quite so calm and holy 🤪
@@finnajane You’re following King David’s example!! 😊💕🙏
