No its feeling bad that you can't relate, because people told me to follow rules and expectations I just never listened, so i can't relate...and I feel bad that I can't relate.
My parents found out the meaning of this song that's why they stopped me from listening to this because they think that this will "darken me" but jokes on them, the reason why I like this song is that I find comfort in it. I can relate to this, and I feel safe when listening to this.
this song isn't about a yandere girl. From the sound of it it's a girl neglected by her parents to the point where she seeks attention from her classmates and friends. The 'necklace' is a metaphor for her brain saying the attention isn't enough and she ends up seeking more and more even though she doesn't feel it's enough. It ends up driving her crazy, even though all she wanted was love.
As the "golden child" of my family, this song is my villain backstory I write this as I cry about being afraid of failing at college because of the immense expectations from my family
@@Trashy_Zeeterribly tbh I flunked a major subject, managed to hide it from my family for fear of being punished, and managed to convince my prof to let me retake, and currently retaking said subject in secret. :) I'm a wreck

heya since yall are basically racking ur heads heres an explanation. "Aishite Aishite Aishite" is an original song by Kikuo. This song is about a girl who demands love and attention from other people as an effect of a cursed collar she wears. As she grows up, the collar's effect on her becomes stronger, making her end up feeling unsatisfied and continues to demand more love and attention from others, believing that the people whom she demands from are not enough. Another interpretation is that it is about a girl who wants love from her parents. Her parents want her to do well in school and do not give her the love she so desires. The collar she wears is a symbol of her parents' expectations. As she grows up and her body changes, the collar stays the same size just as what her parents want out of her doesn't change either.
Reminder that art/songs can be interpreted in any way. The meaning of this song isn’t confirmed and it may not be a yandere song, but if people want to interpret it as a yandere song, let them be. It’s not confirmed it’s about child neglect either.
Yeah no. Kikuo makes songs about cuild abuse. That's his gig. He said so. Interpreting a song about mental illness as being about a trope that demonizes mental illness is missing the point, and very dangerous.
@@yasmineh.1333 even so…did he ever confirm this song in particular was strictly about golden child syndrome? This is coming from a burnt-out “gifted” child who desperately just wants their mother to notice them and who also relates to this song.
@@yasmineh.1333 and seriously, I am very tired of this, can someone actually clearly explain to me how the yandere trope demonizes those with mental illnesses?
@@vulpiixfoxx The yandere trope is based off of common stereotypes about people with personality disorders, Cluster-B PDs in particular. They associate with these disorders extreme possessiveness, self-centered behaviour, lack of logical thinking, violent tendencies, etc. While these disorders may lead to these things they are not synonymous, and to present characters like these as "haha crazy" is a lazy excuse for character writing that only serve to further demonize people deemed as "crazy". Also, I never mentioned golden child syndrome, I just said "mental illnesses" broadly. But if you have a shred of media literacy you can figure it out : the character starting by calling out to her parents, comparing herself to her classmates and bragging about how much better she is than them, and expressing frustration that it's never enough to get the attention she desires from her caretakers. It's hardly got anything to do with Yanderes and golden child syndrome is very clearly the intended theme, although you can easily link it to different mental illnesses. I myself associate it with my own abandonment issues lol
@@yasmineh.1333 He never said that. Please don’t spread misinformation and don’t believe what people say without evidence. It’s not dangerous to interpret this as a yandere song either. Kikuo NEVER confirmed what this song was about. You can interpret it as you want and try to relate to it but don’t claim that Kikuo said something he didn’t say.

This song entered the Hall of Legend on November 24, 2019. On October 4, 2021 Kikuo announced on their UA-cam channel that the song surpassed 1 million likes, taking the top spot numerically on both UA-cam and Spotify.
Everybody in the comments are fighting about whether it's a song about a yandere or about a girl with golden child syndrome. But what if I told you- It's a yandere with golden child syndrome?
I personally think, that the song is about a girl, who grew up with “perfect” parents, who also wanted her to be perfect. They program her mind to aim to become “perfect”. She tries to become “perfect” to please her parents and mind, but soon realizes she can never be “perfect” like her parents. Desperate for love and attention, she begins faking it. She soon gains the “love” and “attention” she was thriving for. She realizes how good the “attention” she gained felt. Her mind (The “Choker”) becomes addicted to the feeling, while the rest of her, becomes trapped in a “curse” as they get dragged everywhere by “the choker”. The “choker” confesses it’s love towards all of the “attention” she gains. The rest of herself, soon realizes that she will forever be stuck in this never ending loop (that is the “choker curse”) so to keep the rest of herself “happy”, she continues to fake the happiness she gains from all “attention”. My theory makes it sound like her mind, and body, are two separate entities.... *But hey, that’s just a theory, a vocaloid theory, thanks for reading*
For me it just shows a girl suffering from her inner turmoil. Outside she's kind, sweet and very quiet but inside she craves attention, she craves validation, she sees that everyone is below her but at the same time she's disgusted by how much she's feeling this so she's just torn. The choker on her neck can be a symbol for her suffering from this feeling. Edit: to the people that said "Omg I feel the same" I'm genuinely worried...
Really off topic of the comment section probably, but I just love the detail of how the YT subtitles still match up and have effects on the video instead of just going as normal. Great work 😍
I feel like I kinda relate to the girl in this song. I crave praise from my parents and others to feel good about myself, yet my successes are usually just expected of me. My parents expect me to do good on everything in school and when I do one thing wrong "I'm a bad daughter". It really hurts. Edit: It’s mostly my father who is like this and my parents are now getting a divorce. Needless to say, I’m going with my mom (pretty sure my dad is gonna ghost me after we move out) For anyone who is also going through this, you aren’t alone. I’ll always be here if anyone wants to talk.
I get the opposite and it sucks like hell. My family always expect great things from me since I usually do really well in things, but right when I hit highschool it slowly was getting to me. Basically *a lot* of stuff happened and I lost my old school and vocational (and potential scholarships there). Then when I got accepted into two really good colleges I couldn't even go to them. I really know that feeling of "am I even good enough or why do I try?"
After finding how good this song was, I approached my mom "Hey! Wanna hear a new song mum?" Mom: "Sure! I'm pretty bored anyways-" *I snatch my mom's phone and play this* Mom: "...THIS IS SO GOOD- WHO MADE THIS TELL MEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE-" Me: "Oh! It's from Kikuo! This just a cover." Mom: *takes phone and goes to the orginal channel* Me: Um, Mum- *song starts playing* YALL I GOT MY MOM OBSESSED WITH HATSUNE MIKU WELP-
Honestly, I can relate to her in a way. I usually need other people to verify me and I need other people to love me before I love myself. And when people get angry at me, I usually let them do anything to me because I feel bad. I just need people to love me so I can verify myself as a person :/
Same, but I dont want to let them get mad at me, I'm just too scared of the consequences, since I was raised to believe that disorderly conduct (aka arguing) will land you to jail, or that it was a sin. I cant really explain. So I have bottled up my anger for so long, and I cant wait for the day it comes all out. I cant wait for the day I get to hit and scream and never realise what I'm doing. I'm just tired of being so self-conscious.
Just wanted to share my experience with Golden Child Syndrome, i don't have it anymore tho I just realized I had it back then but. Ever since I started kindergarten, I knew I had to get top of everything in order to feel valid, so and I became honor student until I was in 4-5 grade idk. That's when I got much more pressured & stressed, eventually I couldn't take it anymore and stopped trying. Then, my mom, teacher, and classmates started to notice my grades go down. My mom told me it was okay and just to try harder next time, my teacher embarrassed me a lot, some of my classmates stopped talking to me and looked down on me. Eventually even some of my friends stopped talking to me. I felt stupid, upset and useless that I started try again, though I knew I should stop doing things for others rather then myself. But now I've been doing good with my studies s been okay:) thanks for readibg
holy fuck. that is exactly what's happening to me rn it's been so much more stressful for me nowadays cause personally, online school is harder. i can't focus. i have so much distractions so i really can't no matter how hard i tried. cause of this, i can't keep up with the lessons nor the projects. my grades are getting lower and lower and my teacher called me out for it and my mom said the exact same thing your mom did. back then i was considered as the "smart one" and ppl would often call for my help but now that my grades are lower, my classmates turned their backs on me and this made me even more sad and hopeless. i can't even do anything about it. well, i feel like i can't do anything about it. im stuck. that's why i just became so careless about everything. im just tired of caring anymore.
I don't think everyone knows what this song means, it's about someone with golden child syndrome or good child syndrome it's not a song about a yandere obsessing over someone. Edit: 69 likes ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) Edit 2: 420 likes (° ͜ʖ °) Edit 3: not doing any more my life purpose has been fulfilled
3:053:31 this part is insanely underrated. I heard a chaotic pitch in her voice like she’s going insane. Like she doesn’t wanna let her parents down (gcs) It’s also underrated generally, like it gives me so much shivers and emotion
I don't know about the happy part, but yeah! I was so confused at those memes because I thought in the song the girl is trying to get her parents' approval.
For some reason this song just speaks to me when it comes to singing nobody has ever said that I'm bad but just because my singing reminds my dad of my mom I've just always felt like I'm just not good enough to be recognized by him and he hasn't once actually listened to my voice which only recently started affecting me mentally. and in other ways it reminds me of how everyone has always seen me as fragile academically yet incredibly gifted in talents so much without a question asked extreme expectations
For people who struggle with singing/reaching the high notes: Don’t sing along because you’ll automatically try to match her pitch. Stop singing along to all songs in general. Memorize the lyrics so on your own you can practice & find a comfortable place in your voice where you can start and end without your voice breaking or anything lol. It’s best to only sing on your own as a beginner so you can (eventually) automatically know where you’re supposed to be in your voice range (Ofc you can still try to sing ambitious songs to try to broaden your range, but you should really be practicing in your normal singing voice before you make yourself disappointed and unmotivated from doing things that you aren’t ready to do yet).
you can sing along, just look along at the lyrics. once you get more advanced i think you can sing along with her at the pitch youre most comfortable with
I can hit high notes. It's just that my voice has NOT been cleared lately. And I can only really hit it when I'm singing loudly. But not as high then the singer .-. I probably go more lower even without these these traits.
I think this is one of your most masterful performances, if not THE most, in terms of both lyric translation and execution. You've taken one of my favorite songs and moved it into the English language with almost unbelievable skill. this song isn't about a yandere girl.

The voices in the back when she sings the chorus sound like they’re saying ‘Aishite’ over and over and I love it

Needless to say, I’m going with my mom (pretty sure my dad is gonna ghost me after we move out)

But now I've been doing good with my studies s been okay:) thanks for readibg

cause of this, i can't keep up with the lessons nor the projects.
my grades are getting lower and lower and my teacher called me out for it and my mom said the exact same thing your mom did.
back then i was considered as the "smart one" and ppl would often call for my help but now that my grades are lower, my classmates turned their backs on me and this made me even more sad and hopeless.
i can't even do anything about it.
well, i feel like i can't do anything about it. im stuck. that's why i just became so careless about everything. im just tired of caring anymore.

For people who struggle with singing/reaching the high notes:
Don’t sing along because you’ll automatically try to match her pitch. Stop singing along to all songs in general. Memorize the lyrics so on your own you can practice & find a comfortable place in your voice where you can start and end without your voice breaking or anything lol. It’s best to only sing on your own as a beginner so you can (eventually) automatically know where you’re supposed to be in your voice range (Ofc you can still try to sing ambitious songs to try to broaden your range, but you should really be practicing in your normal singing voice before you make yourself disappointed and unmotivated from doing things that you aren’t ready to do yet).
you can sing along, just look along at the lyrics. once you get more advanced i think you can sing along with her at the pitch youre most comfortable with
I love singing along tbh, and I rarely sing without the song I'm singing playing.
I can reach the high notes but when i do i sound like a eagle lol
I can hit high notes. It's just that my voice has NOT been cleared lately. And I can only really hit it when I'm singing loudly. But not as high then the singer .-. I probably go more lower even without these these traits.
While the advice doesn't suit everyone, it's good advice.
