How do you properly torque the jam nuts on the elevator or rudder rod end bearings? I have torque wrenches - just need to figure out how to connect it to the nut.
It’s kind of tough to get a torque wrench on the nut in most of the locations. just snug them up, and put some Cross Check or other seal indicator on them and you can visually check them.
Great video! I’m having a hard time finding a mechanic to diagnose my injected engine. Like it’s really bad. You on the west coast at all and able to help? Or can I pay for your time to diagnose?
I have inserted a “Vic” inspection of all jamnuts for my conditional inspections on my 6A. 👍🏻
Keep banging the drum, Vic! I check all the nuts I can every pre-flight, thanks to your admonitions. Really appreciate it!
I appreciate that!
Vic, you are a gift to EAB aviators 🎩♠️
