I’ve always wondered what these look like inside! Now I know and am rather impressed with the amount of space and the utilization of the space. Great video, Nick!
@@robertcook2572 I mean that is the point of the comments tho. These VW campers are small and very expensive as you are paying for the name/style. look at the 'Auto Trail V Line 610 Sport' a few months ago for £73k its better in every way apart from the size. but actually try camping in one of these VW its a nightmare
I've known people to buy these VW vans and a few months later want to sell as want a fixed bed stand up and shower, mostly Peugeot boxer vans, £71000 is ridiculous also, im a winter camper and grade 3 insulation is a must, have everything on board apart a dishwasher, i know this is vlog is for the van but i think it's £35000 over priced,.
We wanted one, so hired one for a week. Ended up getting a Ducato based camper as it was not fun having to pee on a potty in front of the Mrs. They are good day vans and that’s that.
Thank goodness some manufacturers know that some of us can only afford 1 vehicle, could be even more of us before long the way things are going! You tick just about all the boxes with this one. Takes up to 5, normal licence, adaptable carrying capacity, pop top for more comfortable camping, and it will fit most height restricted car parks unlike high tops which can't, this in itself can be a problem for an only vehicle. Some of us aren't rich enough to keep one recreation only vehicle, we can't afford to belly ache about luxuries like toilet rooms, showers etc, most good sites have better facilities anyway. Well done Nick,
Truly stupid pricing. For "only" £68k you could get a Rimor Evo 69 Plus (2024), a full motorhome on a Transit base, with fixed island bed, another electric drop down bed, separate shower and bog cubicles, and a large storage garage. You can even have the automatic option for the same price as this VW! A vehicle you could actually enjoy living in comfortably, rather than this VW metal tent.
I’ve just spent £128k on a new 6.1, not everybody wants, needs or can park a motorhome on the drive. I’m well aware I could buy a lovely Crafter based Knaus or Adria etc, but I wanted a T6.1.
Hi Nick, And thank you for this nice show of this Santorini from Camper King.A smaller type of motorhome good that there is popup roof in it so you can stand travel 5 but sleeps four with a small but functional kitchen Thanks Nick a great show 👍👍👍👍
Santorini Nick is the name of the famous Greek island..I am Greek so i know this..Take your boat and come to the Greek Islands you have a lot of fans here in Greece..Nice video as always
Nice vans but the pricing is utter nonsense. The motor home/caravan dealer where mine is in storage have T6s up to £100k too, I can see why people like them as they fit in car parks etc but you could buy a brand new T6 and convert it for the half the price, even paying someone to do it.
You could buy a California for £71k (just) ! We have a T5 that doesn’t owe us anything like this money and is in reality no different inside, I would love a Cali but just can’t bring myself to spend that sort of money on a small camper, I’ve bought houses for less than that !
Never will I understand any one that buys a camper like this. Especially at this price. No shower no fix bed. No toilet shit kitchen area just don't get it
We have recently changed our old diesel car to an almost new petrol car, due to diesel being bad and all of that rot. So I have often thought does the same not go through motorhome purchasers minds, as they inevitably spend far more than we car drivers do, I do realise that only old diesel are bad however, I would not have purchased a 2 year old diesel Audi so bought it as a petrol?
Undoubtedly good quality if anything a little over done with the fake carbon fibre. Nothing overly innovative and what a price these VW based conversions are. Not even the DSG gearbox. The bed doesn’t actually look that comfortable especially with the seatbelts…. And you’ve still got to pee in a bucket. Main benefit of these are that they could be your everyday mode of transport and then use it to get away at the weekends. You get a lot of hotel nights for £71 k though
£71 is way over priced for what you get (or don't get). You could get so much more for 71k No toilet no shower, crappy kitchen for £71k..... it's not really suitable for proper camping, just a bed in a van with a small sink and a mini fridge
Прикольный домик, но есть одна проблема. А если захочешь какать, то где??? Какать в этом домике придется на улице??? Такое ощущение что этот домик сделали русские, они любят какать на улице😂
Really enjoy all the nooks and crannies for all the bits and pieces. Very nice! 🍷 Thank you.
My pleasure!

Nice practical camper van nick
So it's 30 grand extra to have a tent put on your transporter? I'm in the wrong game.
Another nice camper and good video Nick ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👏👏👏👏👏
Thanks 👍
you could get so much for £71k. sorry not for me at all
This is a poverty spec 6.1, not worth any like this cost.
Fascinating comment. I always enjoy hearing about what anonymous posters don't like. Please keep them coming.
@@robertcook2572no dsg, no led lamps, Mickey Mouse roof, it’s not worth anywhere near that price. Probably a 103 T28 just to finish it off 😂

Nice van but I wish they would split the back seats. It would make it so much more versatile for storing bikes, surfboards etc.
Nice van,but I'd prefer to spend 70 big ones on a boat and go camping round the coast
I like the sound of that 🚤
For those commenting on here about no fixed bed, toilet, small kitchen etc. The clue is in the name, camper van. Camping in a van!
@@robertcook2572 Here in the UK, you're never more than ten minutes away from 'facilities' (motorway services, pubs, mac d's, garages, public toilets)

good looking van.
Manual 6 speed gear box. What joy. 🙂
Huge amount of money for not much acreage 😂

Land Rover also have Santorini black as one of their colours, presumably after the volcanic sand and rock that makes up the island.

I've never slept in a loo free camper van and don't know anybody who does. Do people carry compact portable toilets? I think we should be told!
Are you incontinent?

I'll just sell one of my houses and buy this.
Ford nugget plus over this one - every day in the week
lol, ok mate, do you tarmac drives for a living? 😂
Boy Racers camper van. More useful room in a half decent caravan.
