Michael Hudson - ...which is why Americans are so fat. (On cruise ships, it’s only the Americans who demand to be fed four times a day. The rest of the world is satisfied with three.)
Arthur Pewtie - I’ve traveled extensively. During a 6-week visit to Taiwan, for example, I saw only one really fat person, and people were gawking and pointing at her. Even in Italy, where I lived for one year, I saw overweight people, but nowhere near the number of obese people you’ll find in the U.S.
650,000 pounds! And the toilet is not private?!? Whatever. However? I LOVE the kitchen - a dishwasher! And boiled water from the tap! And the driving 'cockpit' is amazing.
Love that living room! American designers need a trip to Europe to take note! Very impressive! Well done! The only drawbacks I could find were the lack of door between the bedroom and bathroom and guys! Those outside steps need to be much wider!
Nice, focussed and logical presentation, unlike a lot of RV videos where the camera just roams here, there and everywhere and the narrator drones on aimlessly, clearly in love with the sound of his or her own voice.
As somebody that is contemplating a van or mini bus build in the future, I gotta say that I love everything in this motorhome. The layout, the colour scheme, everything. I don't like red but the feature wall in the bedroom was superb. And it looks like this is for a couple which suits a single person like me. The only thing I would probably tweak or add is an office/gaming area with multiple screens. Maybe if I win Tatslotto, it might happen.
I'm from USA and this is a normal size / length for a motor home, but that being said yours are built much better with higher quality. I must say I love yours much better then the USA ones.
But 4 slides, £650,000 and they have still managed to make it cramped in EVERY part, cramped lounge area, cramped kitchen, cramped shower even! At least it has a black tank rather than a cassette toilet. Even awning is small. I mean the garage is nice but that’s what a trailer is for. I’m assuming I missed the AC.

OMG! That, by far, IS THE most beautiful RV I have seen yet ... in every aspect. European design and imagination, to me, far exceeds American [shoebox shape] RV designs. That is not a put down ... it's just a fact. I know. I'm American.
Love the decor. As a Canadian, there is nothing like this in North America. It would be fantastic, if Newell Coaches and Airstream designers would adopt this modern look.
It’s beautiful! Mind you, a beautiful price as well! The thing with this thought is its sheer size! Shouldn’t imagine there aren’t many places you can either go or park up with it
Worth it just for the Atom. We’re planning to convert a MAN TGE (like a VW Crafter but a bit longer) into a campervan - our budget is less than 10% the cost of this! Much less impressive... Another great video, Nick. Loved it.
Yadda, yadda, yadda. I loved it! No American gaudiness (and I live in Los Angeles) just European understatement. Classic. Intelligent floor plan and total comfort. Bathroom in the center is brilliant. I don’t want the bath in the back so guests walk through my bedroom! Only question is where are laundry facilities? Nick, this must be fun for you? Well done. Oh gawd. No you have to get new socks! Aquaholic socks are not appropriate here! Wink.
Thank you for the walkthrough. It’s funny that a boat of similar length and overall size would have probably three cabins and maybe even two heads. As an RV owner I’d love to see more “boat-like” accommodations! 🍻
Nothing beats Newell and Prevost conversions. This is fantastic, but it's a truck chassis with a fibreglass box attached to it and slide outs that aren't flush with the body or vacuum sealed. Newells and Prevosts are in a class on their own.
I think RC did a video tour of their workshops whilst this was being built. What a fantastic machine, and some real craftsmanship. I don't see why some are finding the £650k pricetag hard to believe. I don't work in the motorhome or yacht industry but sometimes have to work with cost estimating so can't help but try to understand costs like this when I see them. First off, we usually quote prices including VAT (sales tax) in the UK so it's actually a £540k motorhome, ex-VAT. The most obvious cost is the bare chassis... I can't find a list price but I'm aware that a standard Volvo tractor unit was almost £100k nearly 10 years ago, so I'd expect the chassis/cab starting point is over £100k. Then you look at the material choices, and the man-hours that goes into that level of fit and finish. The cost of the electronic gizmos is significant but probably relatively small compared with the labour to put it all together. If you're paying your craftsmen £30-40k per year they are actually costing you nearly double that with NI contributions, pension contributions etc. So a team of 3 working on this for 6 months full time will be in the £100-150k range. Then you have the cost of the workshop and site, all the tools (CNC machines aren't cheap!) plus the company owner needs to put food on his own table. Finally, this is a bespoke build. That price includes the costs of customer consultation, design work, generating models and drawings. If you do a series production then you can amortise those costs across the production run and reduce the price a bit. There's also additional learner costs as your team aren't knocking out 50 of the same pieces of furniture at a time but rather building each one as a never-before-built item.
*that is the most amazing video I have ever seen. It's just unbelievable. I guess everyone will try now to get their HGV licenses after seeing this beautiful video*

A poster wrote, “Very, very expensive.” Expensive, of course. But many American motorhomes cost well over £800,000, with gaudy exterior paint designs. And the UK coach has better electronics and a much classier and up-to-date interior design. I love it!
But you can buy a 2nd hand Winnebago for a fraction of the cost of this motorhome. Just as big and comfortable although I agree the American design and decor is less to be desired to the European market, which I think is rather snobbish to anything American.
I love watching RV videos, and this layout is literally the best I've seen. The swivel seats that aren't the driver and shotgun seats are a first for me to see. I would personally get rid of the cabinets over the couches in the front so it would look more residential. No TV in that seating area?? And the decor is a bit "too modern" for me, but I do see how people love it.
Love your pink socks! This motor home is the most beautiful, modern and clean line I’ve ever seen! I wish the US would catch up! I am in the market for a less expensive motor home 😉 but cannot find the modern look I want.
Really enjoyed that and can see that you listened to feedback. It was nice to see some of the gadgets, slideouts, sunroofs, steps all working. Judging by the gap in the front wheels arches, I assume the truck has self leveling as well.

North American builders seem to be in a rut when it comes to design and especially quality of the units they produce. If I was in the financial situation where I could have a custom motor home made, I would have the builder watch some of these videos to get an idea of how at least some aspects and features should be done. Failing that, I might also contact an overseas company to see if they could produce me a North American spec model.
It's not perfect but traveling in this you are probably more tahn 2 people, so 2 are sleeping in the bedroom and 2 in the lounge area, that way both parties have acces to the bathroom without having to wake the other room up.
@@Luckysquirrel1256 If you’re spending over 10 times what most earn in a year on a motorhome, you’d likely rather not have to deal with frequent inconveniences like that. But yea it isn’t life or death, and the people buying probably don’t mind since they wouldn’t buy otherwise
Fantastic video as always. I must say I find this thing a little disappointing for what it appears to be from the outside. I feel like it compromises a lot in attempting to look like a house/apartment, when the space could be used a lot more creatively if it allowed itself to be more of a mobile home.
I have a 35 foot Pacearrow and the layout is perfect for me. Comfortable and very good quality. Its not so modern looking. But very classy in old traditional kind of way. This one is like A GTA5 SecureServer mobile operations unit.
Wow. When money is no objection. I would get this too. Very well designed and built. On cross country trips you never need to leave the vehicle. Just keep the kitchen stocked.
How so? If you have the money, you can purchase RVs in the US for $1-2 _million._ While nice, this doesn't have anything "extraordinary" that you couldn't get in the US; including the garage (which admittedly, is uncommon).
@@grondhero The garage seems like a gimmick. If you are travelling anywhere that gets bad weather you would want a toad with a roof not an Ariel Atom. Plus, you have 4 cab seats and a secondary vehicle with 2. How do you all go out to dinner? You are right that US manufacturers offer everything this coach has and more. My 22 year old tag axle pusher has just about everything that was shown in the video and you don't have to walk through the shitter to get to the bedroom.
I live in a fifth wheel but good gods this would make one helluva of bachelor pad btw in the RV world it's just a living room and the "sun blind" is called an awning just helpful hints if you're looking for luxury RVs look up Prevost Entrega or Newmar 🙂

Was already impressed with this.. then they opened the back "garage' door and my jaw just dropped... this is some undercover spy sorta truck. My dream! and tbh £650,000 is pretty good price for this compared to others for that price or more.
Wastage of space on car park (a big 4 wheeler) didn't make sense to me. They instead should have given smaller space for bicycle or motorbike, which one would actually use.
While I understand that the roads and city clearances in Europe are in many cases more narrow than in the states, the high end motor coaches and fifth wheel RVs in the states are light years better equipped and designed. That said, this is a very nice motor home.
I liked the interior design style, but hated that bathroom in the middle of everything. So much fro privacy if while or after you go to the bathroom someone needs to walk through it...
Who are you going to invite in their? It’s for an older couple that are in retirement. There are other vehicles that fit your needs you have to understand not everything revolves around you and it’s not like you can afford it anyways
@@infunerous666 them not being able to afford something is not an argument against whether or not they can comment on the sheer stupidity of the design 🙄 Bad design is bad design.
No this is designed for the European market. Mainland Europe is geared up so much better for motorhomes than the U.K. you wouldn’t buy one of these to visit Cornwall more like Austria, Bavaria & France.
The point of the bathroom in the middle is that you can use both at the same time - driver and owner. The lock the toilet from inside each and dont have to meet. Good idea
Should have built it on a Scania chassis which are far better than Volvo’s. As a class 1 HGV driver I can personally vouch for Scania, which are by far the best trucks on the European market.
1.Very very expensive 2. Why not using the double decker bus where the structure designed for pasengger convenient also the dimension almost same. In Indonesia the double decker luxurious bus price around 240,000 USD with Mercedes Benz chassis with air suspension.
Obviously you get far more floor space in a double decker, but there are some really big disadvantages (I can know - check out my channel 😊). 1. The downstairs floor is not flat, and therefore not as flexible usable, 2. slide-outs can be done, but difficult, therefore the floor space you have is less wide and just not as luxurious looking and 3. the standing height in double deckers is a big showstopper, as there always will be a floor where you can't stand straight up - be it upstairs or downstairs (unless you are really small yourself of course 😁). With mine it is 1.85 meters downstairs and 1.65 meters upstairs. But then again... I still think my DD RV is a better deal than this one... 😏
Not a lot of diesel pushers here in Maryland. I just (got home yesterday) drove home from Idaho (I-70 route) and saw a ton of them west of the Mississippi.
As an "American", I couldn't dislike the interior more. Way too "european" not comfy looking at all. Luckily there are vehicles for everyone. Great to see Nick doing motorhomes.
@@why-so-serious7895 Different tastes/likes in interior decor makes one an a-hole? I just don't like it style wise and I don't see any recliner chairs for instance. But, whatever...
American RVs and motor homes have this horrible brown/beige interior, very old fashioned, rather resembling an old peoples home, very depressing. Is that what you call 'homely'? If so you can keep it.
Wouldn’t be so sure about that anymore! I drove many Volvos when working as a HGV driver and they were great wagons. They aren’t so good now apparently.. an old company I worked for only used Volvos and MAN trucks and after some problems and bad customer service the owner said he will ever touch Volvo again… they run over 100 tractor units now I believe so a big loss for Volvo!
This is very seriously a nice truck . I so want one .. this is a great way to see the country .. how are you my friend. .. too ., I am good / staying in bay of islands nz but ready to now move to Miami.. want to live there .. got a few great people who live there too so that’s nice .. I want to get back into boats so Miami is my first choice
There’s a very, very, British feel to the design/ layout to the American style RV, the separation of the each specific defined space . Very compact but high ceilings ( for RV’s) to creat that European living feel to it, but functional. I did like the four seats in the cockpit area, I’m intrigued by the skylight windows that open up ( but my concern is the possibility of leaks and water damage from just regular travel). Hated the bathroom, not the style but more of the location and the fact you had to walk through it to get to the bedroom just seems the wrong placement in my head. As for the wee car in the basement garage I’m having an internal conflict of, ”Now that’s cool, in a James Bond kinda way.” Vs ,” That’s not very practical in real world situations.” Lol. Very nice coach, liked the decor and interior style, but they made mistake and built it with a right hand drive. 😉
In the United States most of the high-end motorhomes come with a bath and a half the half is generally middle of the coach full bath generally to the rear of the coach and all high-end motorhomes are basically designed for one couple map for a bunch of kids. Motorhomes high-end start anywhere from about 350 to about 2 and 1/2 million dollars
I will never ever own a motorhome, even this grand, but I enjoy looking at the quirks and features of one.
Never say never... One never knows what the future holds... Never thought I'd have Lotus... Then one day, one appeared in the garage...

@@mackan919 But if people from the bedroom want to go anywhere, they either have to walk in on someone in the bathroom or wait for it to be free
@@gwyndolwin the only problem I find in this vehicle. It'd be pretty comfortable for a millionaire nomad tho :P
@@gwyndolwin Then they can wait 5 mins, not life or death.
Motaholic!? This is great! Now we’re able to get more of your videos Nick.
Enjoy!
Fantastic video as always. I must say I find this thing a little disappointing for what it appears to be from the outside. I feel like it compromises a lot in attempting to look like a house/apartment, when the space could be used a lot more creatively if it allowed itself to be more of a mobile home.
Great design. I also love the Ariel Nomad outside (0:46)
Stunning, great tour, much appreciated 🙏
Glad you enjoyed it
I have a 35 foot Pacearrow and the layout is perfect for me. Comfortable and very good quality. Its not so modern looking. But very classy in old traditional kind of way. This one is like A GTA5 SecureServer mobile operations unit.
At this price point I expected a swimming pool, a billiard room, a horse stable, a helicopter pad and a rocket launcher.
Use the garage for a stable and replace the bed mattress with a mini pool and you're pretty much half way there ;)
At this price, you can hardly buy a 15 years old average home in California, in high-risk wildfire areas
Was not expecting the rocket launcher, would be a nice touch though, not sure how it would affect the insurance premiums..
Exactamundo lmao, dont forget a mini submarine lol .
I love the fact that you gave it a RPG
Wow. When money is no objection. I would get this too. Very well designed and built. On cross country trips you never need to leave the vehicle. Just keep the kitchen stocked.
So the Apocalypse is going to be more comfortable than we thought?
Very clinical looking interior - Spock from Star Trek would love it.
Hi Nick. That is awesome. Grizwalds European Vacation. Top of the range RV. Test drive the Atom . . . No. Great video thanks.
That's the coolest Motor Home I've ever seen ! I wonder if it'll fit an Alfa Spider, Triumph TR6 or a Mini Cooper in the Garage...
It’s crazy to see how decades ahead UK/European RV manufacturers are from manufacturers here in the US.
Cause USA rvs are like 60k and this is 800,000 dollars. I’d expect it to be a bit nicer for 12 times as much money.
It is amazing how far motorhomes have come. Truly beautiful.
Just found there was another channel other then Aquaholic and my man nailed this as well
Same. I guess I’m about to be obsessed with cars/rv that I’ll never be able to afford.
than?
That's insanity. Cherry on top with the Atom. Whom ever owns this setup makes my existence look microscopic.
Perhaps it was made for the Ariel Atom Company, would be ideal to go to track days in all over Europe.
I didn't know he had ANOTHER channel. Diversify and prosper!!
Right. I say the thumbnail and when it started I was like why is he doing rvs.lol
No crew quarters?
Same here, was as surprised as you!
Same. Instant subscribe
To have the garage space in the back is so impressive!!! Nice!!!
I live in a fifth wheel but good gods this would make one helluva of bachelor pad btw in the RV world it's just a living room and the "sun blind" is called an awning just helpful hints if you're looking for luxury RVs look up Prevost Entrega or Newmar 🙂
wow didnt know you also did this.Ive subscribed immediatly cause i enjoyed the 1st VID i saw about motorhomes this week👌👌👍👍

Ah, I've been waiting for another MOTAHOLIC video for ages, thanks Nick, and hoping to see more in the future!
Hoping to bring them! :)
Wow this is my first visit to this mota version, just recently pop up in my recommended video
I love how EUROPEAN the the interior design is. You will NEVER mistake this for anything American.
This is like the Galeon 400 Fly on Aquaholic, just keeps giving and giving!
Yeah keeps giving and giving except a extra bedroom
While I understand that the roads and city clearances in Europe are in many cases more narrow than in the states, the high end motor coaches and fifth wheel RVs in the states are light years better equipped and designed. That said, this is a very nice motor home.
I liked the interior design style, but hated that bathroom in the middle of everything. So much fro privacy if while or after you go to the bathroom someone needs to walk through it...
Who are you going to invite in their? It’s for an older couple that are in retirement. There are other vehicles that fit your needs you have to understand not everything revolves around you and it’s not like you can afford it anyways
Imagine the bathroom was in the room and everyone would barge inside to use the washroom.. where’s the privacy!
@Punished Aniquin No one cares
@@infunerous666 them not being able to afford something is not an argument against whether or not they can comment on the sheer stupidity of the design 🙄
Bad design is bad design.
@@jerkface38 it’s designed for a couple not a whole family. If it’s not for it’s not for you.
How did I not know you did motor reviews too! Love the yacht videos and this is just the cherry on top!

Back in the 80s my parents had an RV that came with a portable 13" black and white that plugged into a cigarette lighter.
I Will never ever own a motorhome, even this grand, but I enjoy looking at the quirks and features of one.
That would be great on the Devon & Cornwall lanes eh
No this is designed for the European market. Mainland Europe is geared up so much better for motorhomes than the U.K. you wouldn’t buy one of these to visit Cornwall more like Austria, Bavaria & France.
Mopping up all of those horrid VW buses on the A30 and A38 lol....
@@matty6848 Sarcasm not your forte mate?
As useful as a chocolate teapot
The point of the bathroom in the middle is that you can use both at the same time - driver and owner. The lock the toilet from inside each and dont have to meet. Good idea
Can't imagine driving that around europe. Would not be a good time.
Hi nick I'm an Aquaholic at heart, but subscribed,as you are a lovely chap lol xx
Awesome! You're very kind :)
Viewers of Aquaholic will find comfort in the fact that the motorhome is powered by a Volvo engine, albeit not by a pair of Volvo Pentas.
And has Miele appliances.. But don't like the layout... The toilet/shower is just in the wrong place
Should have built it on a Scania chassis which are far better than Volvo’s. As a class 1 HGV driver I can personally vouch for Scania, which are by far the best trucks on the European market.
@Omar Williams, in the rear, Sherlock.
@Omar Williams, no it could be anywhere, like in the very front, but practicality would have it in the rear.

1.Very very expensive
2. Why not using the double decker bus where the structure designed for pasengger convenient also the dimension almost same.
In Indonesia the double decker luxurious bus price around 240,000 USD with Mercedes Benz chassis with air suspension.
obviously its expensive. People buying this aren't the kinds who have to think it through. This is for people where they have hundreds of millions
@@brickzandstickz2749 and no kids.
This RV is too sterilized-looking, I´d so much rather the american ones, specially Holiday Rambler Nautica 35M.
Here is the US, Prevost does this at the high end RV market. I have been in a $2 million Prevost RV. Google it. The price is insane.

As an "asshole"*** you mean.
@Arich Henneman Do you mean European style? Not full of 1980s dark wood!
Killer setup! And “Trick” hadn’t heard that in awhile shows your age! Great vid

Never knew this channel existed 😍😍
Love this layout! Everything is separated.❤❤❤
love it. Being a volvo it'll last forever. Needs a bike ramp though, it's about as wide as an ariel atom lol. The dishwasher sold it though.
I am looking forward to parking mine at a the local beach in Truro. Fantastic videos, as usual.
Travelling desi would love this ...
