This is one of my favorite home gyms I've seen for some reason. So aesthetic and organized. I'm working on building a home gym now too which was going to include a mini fridge for waters etc since mine will actually be out in what was build as a horse barn lol
Nice little home gym! Perfect use of space and high quality equipment. Working on building mine at the moment. Everything is supposed to be at the house tomorrow.
Aspirational Gym.. well done it's an amazing use of the space. I live in the UK and the single garages we have are Tiny with really low roof heights so I can't get a rogue rack in, it's too high ☹
Know exactly what you mean as I also live in the UK Don't worry about if you can't get a full cage Their is options of a squat stand with dips stations built in I think the maximum height you could be about six foot plus in some of them maybe more and there are easy to store
Never understood buying a bar rack. It's a REALLY easy thing to make yourself for like 10-20$. Sweet gym though. Putting mine together right now. I have most of the equipment just fixing up the garage now. Got done painting today and I'm crazy excited to start moving shit in
Aye I Think Imma Buy That Rack Dawg! I Ordered a CAP 310 lbs Olympic weight set from Wal-Mart and the 45 lbs plates were small (just like in your video here) they measured 430mm which equals 16.9291 not (17.72″) and they have the ''nerve'' to have them Listed as 450mm (17.72″)!! Man I'm Pissed!! A 45 lb plate diameter measurement is supposed to be 450mm (17.72″). This is the IPF (International Powerlifting Federation) and IWF (International Weightlifting Federation) regulation size. So Where is a good place to buy ''Accurate'' 45 lbs plates with specs 450mm (17.72″) That measure and weight correctly?Aye man I Cant stand those small 45's lol...I'm Old school, its something about Having 315 on and doing reps and the sound from those plate just motivate you, well me! lol So Where can I Buy those STANDARD 45lbs Plates You have, at a reasonable price. BTW Just subbed also! Thanks.
I have a similar Lat pull down machine as yours. Will you change the lat pull down for a cable machine?? Iam running out of space but I lime cable machines. I just don't know if I really need it?? also have a rogue wall band station that I made with the matador dip station. So I am not sure if I really need a cable machine? What do you think? This is what I have in my garage gym.... I have echo rogue bike, ply box, kettlebells, tire, mace bells, battle rope, punching bags, power block dumbbells, medicine balls, sled, band station with matador dip station, barbells with prx foldable squat rack. Stall horse mats and other stuff. Been thinking about getting cable machine though. I don't do crossfit but I like to do functional workouts, hitt workouts and kindda heavy lifting here and there too.
Really want to get myself a home gym... have a one car garage but currently renting so can’t do any major works to the garage (its not a garage attached to the house so not much insolation)
@@kennytaylor7721 I live in an apartment right now but planning to sell it and buy a house and dedicate space like that. Want to start with a barbell, a rack and some weights and a flat bench.
Anu regrets with the rogue rml 390? Looks great. I'm debating that or the rml 490. I'm leaning to the 490 since it's 43 inches deep and so adding weight storage pins is easy since there is enough space inside... Not so sure on rml 390... I don't use bumper plates so would be easy to store on one side of posts and then have J cups on opposite side... Is that possible with 390 f? Or would be get too crowded. Seems like it might look weird on such a compact rack. Thanks.
I got a 10x10 ft room and I've been looking for small space home gyms for inspiration but I give up I'll just settle with my wall rack, barbell and adjustable dumbbells, maybe I'll get an assault bike just to give the skipping rope a break.
Do you have any issues with the width of the rack in terms of racking and unracking the barbell in squat/bench? Meaning, do the weights hit the rack due to the width (the width being 49'' long)?
Kenny Taylor thank you for letting me know! I was really worried about it since it’s a lot of money and to run into that kind of problem was worrisome. I measured it out and realized I have about 2.5 inches on either side which should be fine. I had 3 inches on both sides before and didn’t have any issues. I was looking into the Rep PR 4000. That rack has it all and the accessories are a lot cheaper. What kind of rack do you have now? How much did you sell this rack for? Was there a reason why you got rid of this rack? Sorry for all the questions lol
Shane DM Thank you! In my experience it's been extremely sturdy. I've had 500+lbs in it squatting and it barely moves when it's re-racked. I also know other people with the same rack and they all seem to be happy with it as well.
Have same rack but I've sort of converted it to half rack and have over 1000 lbs but even without all the weight was very stable. On heavy dips there was some slight shaking... But now it's rock solid for everything.
Forgot I added an extra crossmember in the back so it's no longer walk through from the back though I use spotter arms on the outside so it's sort of still walk through.
DelSol JS hey! I bought them at academy sports while they were dropping that line of plates so I got them very cheap. I think I paid $17 per 45lb plate brand new. Just got lucky to be honest. I bought a lot of them and sold some on Craigslist.

This got me so hyped for some reason, perfect use of space and high quality equipment!

So how is the home gym going after 7 months?
Jeston Hickle Also curious, maybe show it! :)
One of the best gyms I’ve seen. So cozy, great use of space. Everything you need, nothing you don’t
I appreciate your comment very much!
That "one car garage" is my dream gym man!
Nice gym. I have a 3 car garage; my wife has the 2 car part and I have the 1 but it’s sufficient for my needs.
Nice little home gym! Perfect use of space and high quality equipment. Working on building mine at the moment. Everything is supposed to be at the house tomorrow.
That’s awesome! Good luck with the build!
well outfitted without being too cramped, nice!
I'm like watch out! The Rattlesnake behind you! Awesome gym💪
Hahaha yes! Thanks.

I'm slowly building my garage gym. My garage is 11x19. I'm think I'm going to follow the same general layout.
A huge inspiration for what I am currently building. Very nice
Great gym for a small face. Has given me great motivation to build my own

Awesome! Garage gyms are sweet. As for the bar rack, I just like the way the rogue one looks matching the rest of the stuff.
Nice Gym Kenny! Thank you for thee Tour Mate! ; )
Damn good use of space dude.
Yeah💪 mines 12x 16 and I love it! Placement counts!

Nice, efficient, effective, ni-frills gym---specifically for your needs and circumstances.
Nice setup and very efficient use of space.
Compact but awesome! Weight room....love it

Thank you for producing this video.
Nicely presented...useful setup...congrats...
Really want to get myself a home gym... have a one car garage but currently renting so can’t do any major works to the garage (its not a garage attached to the house so not much insolation)
I have the same exact size garage and almost the same exact equipment in mine except for the lat pull down which i am looking for one
That’s awesome! Good luck with the search, it took me a while to find that one because used ones sell so fast online.

Just shamed my effort and I haven't even finished yet 😃 nice gym vey well equipped
Dream garage gym bro...wow
Thanks man! Built it one piece at a time.

Nice setup man!
Epic gym brother I am so jealous 👌💪
Nice clean gym!
some awesome gear makes me feel claustrophobic looking at it though.

I made some homemade pulley attachments for my rack a while back. If you get creative, you’ll make something cool in the smaller space!
Great vid! Couple questions.....Size of the mirror? where did you get it from and cost?
JustTraining 4’x5’ got it from Lowe’s
solid gym
Does your mini fridge leak condensation or any fluids on the floor like that?
what's your opinion of the again faster plates?
I no longer have them but I liked them a lot. Really good quality imo.
Nice video dude- keep it up!
His rests in between sets are 9 minutes long
TehArgento lmao! Yes. This is true.

Congrats on the gym. what is the space size, overall value of the gym Pretty good investment

Kenny Taylor thanks Kenny, I missed that part just at the beginning. At any rate I may almost copy your design. Cheers Man.
Do you have any issues with the width of the rack in terms of racking and unracking the barbell in squat/bench? Meaning, do the weights hit the rack due to the width (the width being 49'' long)?
Very rarely. I no longer have that rack but it did happen from time to time. Not enough for me to have an issue with it though.

Any updates on the garage gym?
Great set up. I like your power rack. How sturdy is the flat foot version compared to the bolt down versions?
Shane DM Thank you! In my experience it's been extremely sturdy. I've had 500+lbs in it squatting and it barely moves when it's re-racked. I also know other people with the same rack and they all seem to be happy with it as well.
Kenny Taylor awesome Ill be getting rml in next week or so

Good looking gym

Ah, got to that part now :0
I think they go on sale every now and then too. It's not a huge discount but if you're buying a lot of them, it adds up.
