    Living in England this is the 1st relatable home garage gym. Normally the garages are the size of a house here in England haha. Good setup and good work

    I’m sure you know by now you could’ve done horse stall mats for the flooring, $45 a pop usually and it’s 4’x6’ and will last a lifetime.

      @@infiniteg7852 if youre local tractor supply stores their mats outside then it should be fine, mine did and the smell had aired out by the time i got them. Regardless, its just a rubber smell, which to me smells like a nee gym and is a clean smell to me.

    Very impressive transformation! Great use of the space through design and skill. Just make room for the Peloton and you're good!

    Nice job. Home gyms are always a work in progress. You can always change things as you get new ideas. Really like the mirrors and how it gives the illusion of standing in a larger room. Congrats. Enjoy your new workout space.👍

    I've used those puzzle mats and covered my room completely in them so there is no room to move or pop up. I found them much better than stall mats. Mind, I don't deadlift so if that is a requirement you can still use puzzle mats and build a dedicated platform. Great vid.

    Looks good. One tip though. Like yours, my original rack set up was too close to the wall. It was a pain to rack the bar, and I was always stressing about potential collisions.

      I actually didn't sealcoat the wall I did black so I didn't have to worry about that but I could imagine that would have driven me nuts. The sprayer does a really good job though of getting those tiny holes filled vs using a roller which I would have thrown across my yard if I had to use lol

    I’m glad you didn’t go with the horse stall mats
    People will buy 500 dollars worth of stall mats to do curls and pull-ups on

    • @jbimmer9799
      @jbimmer9799  3 роки тому +1

      Lol yeah the mats I bought are still holding up great. If you leave something heavy in a spot for awhile it flattens the foam but it comes back after a day and they're really comfy in the knees which is a plus

    • @jeffreylapoint6597
      @jeffreylapoint6597 2 роки тому +2

      looks good, but you really should have avoided those cheap Eva foam tiles. horse stall mats or rubber flooring tile should have been used. you will find that those foam tiles will separate, tear, flatten and wear out quickly.
