Living in England this is the 1st relatable home garage gym. Normally the garages are the size of a house here in England haha. Good setup and good work
Man, there’s levels in the States. Small af to huge af
I’m sure you know by now you could’ve done horse stall mats for the flooring, $45 a pop usually and it’s 4’x6’ and will last a lifetime.
Don’t they let off harmful chemicals?
@@infiniteg7852 no lol some people complain about the rubber smell but it’s no big deal really, just smells like a normal gym.
@@The_Fit_ness_monster ah ok. Would you recommend them indoor use(in a loft area, in house)??
@@infiniteg7852 if youre local tractor supply stores their mats outside then it should be fine, mine did and the smell had aired out by the time i got them. Regardless, its just a rubber smell, which to me smells like a nee gym and is a clean smell to me.
Exactly
Very impressive transformation! Great use of the space through design and skill. Just make room for the Peloton and you're good!
Nice job. Home gyms are always a work in progress. You can always change things as you get new ideas. Really like the mirrors and how it gives the illusion of standing in a larger room. Congrats. Enjoy your new workout space.👍
I've used those puzzle mats and covered my room completely in them so there is no room to move or pop up. I found them much better than stall mats. Mind, I don't deadlift so if that is a requirement you can still use puzzle mats and build a dedicated platform. Great vid.
Looks good. One tip though. Like yours, my original rack set up was too close to the wall. It was a pain to rack the bar, and I was always stressing about potential collisions.
looks great dude, but i would definitely recommend rubber flooring it’s a life saver and for a little more it’s worth it
The grafiti in the beginning tho, so classy :D
You guys did a nice job, no more waiting for the squat rack at the gym
What a transformation!
man those pully systems are awesome. I pretty much have the same size garage as you except my ceiling was way smaller. I just pulled the trigger on the pr4000 for black friday. Really liking y our set up! looks very clean.
Background music took me back to the Fallout days
the flooring part is a bit of a mistake
Dude. Sick setup
Very nice. I hope the flooring has held up, mine didn't.
You'll be replacing those mats soon if you use that gym at all. Tractor Supply has horse stall mats. Get them
Nice work
How about an update?
more gym vids bruh. subbed.
You'll end up getting rid of that flooring and getting stall mats.
Something looks wrong with the bar on smith machine looks bent
Not bad
4x6 rubber 3/4 inch horse stall matts...wayyyyy better and still very cheap.
Why didnt you get horsestall mats. Thats the worst flooring just before dirt
What are the dimensions of your shed?
looks good but you are wasting a bit of space there, why not temporarily block off the up and over door remove the ceiling framework, and put the rack there. good work though.
Nice job! I bet you enjoy your workouts more than in a commercial gym right?
100% No waiting for other people, I can play the music I like without headphones, and no hunk alarm.
Very good use of space. Where did you get the mirrors? I am finding that to be pricey. Need three 4' x 8''s to finish off my space.
You can get them at Home Depot or IKEA, real cheap
What is the name of the mats and where did you buy them ?
Shouldn’t use foam tiles for a gym.
So are you using a normal drill to drill into the concrete?
Dude, how much does it suck painting those blocks black with a white undercoat? I'd drive me made doing mine with flecks of white showing up
I actually didn't sealcoat the wall I did black so I didn't have to worry about that but I could imagine that would have driven me nuts. The sprayer does a really good job though of getting those tiny holes filled vs using a roller which I would have thrown across my yard if I had to use lol
@@jbimmer9799 haha yea a sprayer may have saved my time and temper for sure!
What's the height of your ceiling?
What the Square ft. Of the room bud ?
Roughly 11x20 so 220ft²
What kind of size space were you working with?
I belive roughly 13' x 25'
Dang son what’s the membership cost?
Five hunned dolla
Now do an workout video
I’m glad you didn’t go with the horse stall mats
People will buy 500 dollars worth of stall mats to do curls and pull-ups on
Lol yeah the mats I bought are still holding up great. If you leave something heavy in a spot for awhile it flattens the foam but it comes back after a day and they're really comfy in the knees which is a plus
looks good, but you really should have avoided those cheap Eva foam tiles. horse stall mats or rubber flooring tile should have been used. you will find that those foam tiles will separate, tear, flatten and wear out quickly.
