Yes do. I started my training as an instructor 20 years ago but had to call a halt after passing part 2 because of circumstances outside of my control.
Apologies for the late reply... I got rid of my Intruder in September and bought a BMW R1200 GSA. The Suzuki Intruder was a very comfortable, powerful bike but mine just didn't like going around right hand turns, especially roundabouts. ( I am absolutely delighted with the handling of my R 1200 GSA.) The biggest issue I had with the Intruder is that unless I set off at a snail's pace, the clutch juddered madly when moving off in 1st gear. The judder was so violent it almost caused me to come off the machine on more than one ocasion. Have a look on the various Intruder forums, it seems that it's a common fault with this bike. Good luck with your purchase and safe riding.
Sorry about the late reply. Good, solid machine with lots and lots of power. Great in a straight line but mine didn't like taking right turns and roundabouts. It felt as thoughI was riding around a big 50p piece. It had to go!
No, I'm not Darth Vader. I was out of breath after going up and down the stairs half a dozen times to get my gear sorted before taking to the road.
Can tell you are a driving instructor from the running commentary. I like these big Suzukis though....
Many thanks Brian. I'll take that as a compliment..

That's a shame. It's not a bad job. I've been teaching now for about for twenty years... It keeps me off the streets so to speak.
I used to ride a motorbike for a living when I worked in the emergency services.
Hi, i am thinking about buying one of these bikes. Would you recommend one and have you had any problems with it? Thanks
