  • My good friend Tyler finally got a drift car, and he chose a lexus SC300. With a stock non vvti 2JZge, it's a great choice. I cant wait to see how this thing evolves over the next few years.

These cars are way to rare to be drifting maybe light street drag but these cars can be beautiful if taking care of

Drift cars aren’t always beat up piles of crap. They can be beautiful too 🤷🏻‍♂️

I have a 97 with a w58. Will you drift it on stock power and just a welded diff? I don't know if it has enough power to break traction.

Yes he will, it has the power but the gearing in the w58 sucks. Second gear is way too long. If you run a smaller tire that essentially makes the gearing shorter and should make it better. That and high tire pressures. Don’t be afraid to go above 50psi

Watching the destruction of a good car with potential. No thanks.

It's also a factory manual, so I'm sure that has you REALLY upset.
But in all reality, the car was electrically totaled with the whole harness having to be reworked to make the car functional. It's living a better life this way then if it stayed in the yard where it was rotting away.
