Jak 2: Scattergun Course Gold No Casualties

- Quick Note: This is AFTER I get the Scattergun Rate of Fire upgrade. I dunno if it's possible to gold this course without it.
Gold: 12000
Silver: 10000
Bronze: 8000
So, I bought a used PS2 Slim from one of my mom's friends a couple days ago, and started getting an itch to play some of my old favorite PS2 games, and the Jak & Daxter trilogy is one of them. Anyway, I was looking to see if anyone had uploaded any videos of them getting gold on the Jak 2 gun courses, but no one has (which to me is surprising), so I decided to do it myself. After I got gold, I thought I could do it without hitting any civilian targets, so 5-6 tries later I got it.
As for this course, it's not too bad. After 8-9 runs, I pretty much memorized it. Missed out on some gold targets since I didn't kill a couple blue targets fast enough, but it's no biggie, I got done what I wanted.

Yes! Finally! 12856. This video helped a lot. At first I didn't know that the gold ones only appear if you shoot certain targets quickly enough. So shooting quickly was the key to success!
I spent 2 hours to beat this course then i found out that there is a rate of fire upgrade

Ya I love doing stuff to begin with rather than going through the story first. I can barely hit bronze with no upgrades

It's a good thing I thought to look up a video. I might have wasted a couple of hours without realizing there's an update for the gun you're supposed to get first.

How did it go, 2 years later? I'm on it now and in fact just bought PS5 got it today and got the Platinum for Jak & Daxter before 24hrs passed. But I can already tell Jak 2 will be hard.
jak and daxter series are epic. Favorite trilogy. Also you should try to get 286 orbs!

I genuinely can't work out how I'm not getting over 12000 here. ಠ_ಠ I'm not missing any possible "secret targets" you might be hitting. All I can think is that those "civilians" are assholes and always in the way.
I hit every target and got zero casualties and still didn't get 12000. WTF
guys, it's all about how fast you can shot just spam that trigger
I guess I'm just stupid, because the thought of punching during these like....shouldn't that disqualify you?

I have played through this course iver 20 fucking times and i dont get it. I can barely get just over 8000 points and you're telling me you're getting over 12k? I feel like some BS is going on here.
Lol try to get the upgrade for the shotty for it to shoot faster and just spam it because even if you hit the guys it doesn’t matter the points you get is from the faster you kill the targets
