Great tutorial! I did not realize how powerful the cloth simulations were. Can you make sheets and blankets as easily? I am curious because I want to make a set of custom assets for a mod I was thinking about for Fallout 4.

Yes you can use cloth simulations for sheets and blankets

Hi, particles are rendered when you are in rendered mode. That is to increase performance in the viewport while working
