Is there no drone with the switchpath version even though the 180 tech isn’t in it? Had that in my last vehicle and it was perfect and truly drone free.
@@TheErichottie This is their new V2 system which is different from the previous switchpath system. Looks like V2 has a smaller muffler now so I would assume it would be a bit louder.
@@nathanlee4500 there's significantly less drone with the valves open lol. it might even be quieter in general with the valves open. the dsg farts are super loud when valves are closed.

Djcccard I’ve got the Switchpath on my 2017 R and I’ve got no drone it’s great plus dsg farts are pretty dang loud

@@BT-ls5zk I have this new version and yes there is drone at highway driving. It's loud cruising at 80mph with valve closed.

hey there does this work with the built in eco, comfort, and race modes? Or is the remote needed?
It retains your factory valve commands. If the remote is installed, it would bypass those commands and be controlled entirely by the remote.
I have an aftermarket downpipe and the track exhaust for my ‘18 R if anyone is curious how that sounds check out my vids!
