Thanks 🙏 The flaps are of those base MK7 golf that i retrofitted to fit on the R. You can also fit these OEM mud guard solution for the '18 -20 Golf R:
-2017 GTI front: 5GV-075-116
-2018 GTI rear: 5GV-075-105A

Yes the plan is going stage 2 at some point. Just waiting on my a high flow catted downpipe.

How loud would you say this catback system, with the valved closed, is compared to stock?

It is way louder than stock with even the resonator deleted. I love how it sounds with valve closed, but I like it even more when it is open. I turned soundaktor off completely to enjoy its natural sound. I would say in normal cruising, the sound is just right. But then again everyone is different in their perception specifically sound.
