That's the test for 04 F150 4 x 4 Lariat as well. I did it several times with some guages staying to the right. Sometimes returning to left sometimes not. Speedometer and temp being two. The Speedometer , gas, and temp doesnt work the reason I was trying.
I believe it is build in to automatically do this on start up, and that's what fails sometimes and therefore the need to manually do it, but I am not 100% sure.
Hi, I have not experienced this before, have you tried redoing the sweep? Another thing would to try would be take off the battery cabled and let sit for 5 minutes to reset. I hope this works.
God bless you
Seems like our trucks don't have so many problems like ones with regular clusters
Works on my 2005 KR superduty too.
This also worked for my 2004(new body style) F150 Lariat. Thanks!

All my gauges go erratic and all icons are displayed after a few minutes of driving every thing goes back to normal… what could be the problem?
sweet lord, baby Jesus.
thank you sir..
Thank you!!!!
Is there a way to get it to do it on startup

If the sweep sometimes results in a guage or guages sweeping right but stay right while others return to left. What's the reason and fix?
